Red Blanket Cabin Near Crater Lake National Park
Ceci est une, de deux chambres, la maison d'une salle de bain sur mesure située dans les monts Cascade rurales du sud de l'Oregon. Il est niché sur un acre boisé près de la ville de Prospect. (500 habitants). La maison est dégrossi avec le cèdre brut de sciage et les murs intérieurs sont faits de bois de cèdre et de pin. La grande salle est mise en évidence par un escalier en colimaçon de pin tordu. Le visiteur est accueilli par un porche à l'aise avec des chaises Adirondack pour les sièges et il ya une grande terrasse et d'un foyer derrière la cabine pour les réceptions en plein air. Cependant, ce ne sont pas une cabine de fête et les invités sont limitées au nombre de personnes convenu dans la réservation.
La cabine ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de douze ans.
L'intérieur est décoré avec goût avec la relaxation et le confort à l'esprit. Les visiteurs pourront se sentir à l'aise entouré de murs en bois naturel et bois personnalisé tout au long. La chambre principale a un lit king-size Sleep Number lit de Select Comfort. La chambre à l'étage inférieur a un Sleep Number lit queen-size.
Il y a un accès Internet à la cabine ainsi que des émissions de télévision locale, streaming, DVD, et le plateau pour une grande collection de disques.
Les jardins sont bien entretenus, encerclé par un jeune peuplement de pins ponderosa. Si vous cherchez un endroit paisible pour vous éloigner de votre vie trépidante, vous trouverez ici. Il n'y a pas de téléphone, mais il ya une couverture de téléphone cellulaire pour la plupart des transporteurs.

One of the nicest VRBO's we have ever stayed in. Quiet, clean, and the craftmanship inside the cabin is amazing. We stayed here to visit Crater Lake but enjoyed just hanging out at the cabin as well. Host were very responsive and had equipped the cabin with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend - wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful craftsmanship for all of the unique wood features. The intricate designs were beautiful and must have taken a long time to complete. The entire cabin is very beautiful..

We had an amazing time at the Red Blanket Cabin! The property is so calm and peaceful; it feels like your own private oasis in the middle of the forest. The kitchen is well-equipped and the a/c cools the cabin down quickly (we were there during a heat wave). It was a beautiful 30 minute drive to Crater Lake, which was our main reason for staying in the area. Best of all, the owners are extremely thoughtful and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best it can be! Highly recommend.

As many others have said, the cabin is even better than the pictures show. It is extremely cozy and all of the details in craftsmanship enhance the experience. The cabin has everything you would expect to find in your own home, from kitchen tools, to laundry supplies, to bathroom amenities and an extensive collection of DVDs, records, puzzles, and games. We also enjoyed the outdoor space which has an immaculately maintained garden, hammock, fireplace, lawn games, and our ultimate favorite - the outdoor shower and tubs. Finally, and most importantly, the cabin is immaculately clean. I’m not sure I’ve ever stayed in a rental that was quite this clean, and we take annual hiking trips of this kind to various places around the U.S. If you are searching for a base camp for exploring Crater Lake and the surrounding area - this is the one!

This cabin has every amenity possible: soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, spices, coffee, sugar, sweetener, games, puzzles, movies, cd's, backpacks, coolers, firewood, grill....too many to list. You walk in and you feel at home! The cabin is beautiful, large and clean. Bathroom is spacious and well stocked. Grounds are impeccably manicured with beautiful sitting areas all around. There's a delightful private area for outdoor bathing or showering too! We had a wonderful time! Short drive to Pearsony Falls and Avenue of the Boulders. About 45 to 60 minutes to Crater Lake. Hosts are responsive and welcoming. A wonderful stay. 5 stars all around.

My sister, brother and I had a fabulous stay at The Red Blanket Cabin. So private and charming in every way from the beautiful hand craftmanship of all the wood interior to the spacious private yard and garden, eating areas to the fun outdoor tubs and shower. It is the best!!!

My husband and I used Red Blanket Cabin as our home base for visiting Crater Lake. It was about a 30 minute drive on picturesque roads. The cabin is stocked with everything we needed. There is a great variety of possibilities for entertainment in the evenings: streaming (know your passwords!), DVDs, CDs, vinyl, games. There is a nice outdoor space as well.

Lovely cozy log cabin with all the creature comforts one could hope for. Well equipped kitchen, great DVD and vinyl collection, beautiful garden with outdoor fireplace, lovely soaking tub, sleep number beds. Great location for touring Crater Lake National Park and surrounding central Oregon.

Red blanket cabin is beautiful. It is an updated cabin with all the necessary items to make your stay comfortable. Very clean. We stayed for two nights while visiting nearby Crater Lake NP. The owners were quick to answer any questions we had. We couldn’t see their home but the owners home is on the back of the property. Very peaceful place. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

An amazing cozy cabin, with oodles of character, on a wooded lot! Extremely well-built by a true artisan with many creative hand-crafted touches made from natural wood. No doubt the builder had a great time doing all the finishing details. The wood floors are absolutely exquisite!
Communication with the hosts was easy - prompt replies, very gracious.
We stayed at Red Blanket Cabin in order to visit Crater Lake National Park. Unfortunately, most of the park was inaccessible due to snow (we did see the lake, but no overlooks or hiking 😕). We were very thankful to have such a cozy place to "while away the hours" since we did not spend 2 days seeing Crater Lake as originally planned. Instead we watched several movies on Netflix, played cards, read, watched sports on TV, worked one of the jigsaw puzzles in the game stash, and admired all the hand -crafted details of the cabin. All in all, a delightful getaway. Thank you!!

What a comfortable, warm, beautiful place to stay. It was close enough for day trips to Crater Lake to hike and a perfect place to return in the evening. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and loved the custom interior with all the unique wood touches. It was spotless and had all the kitchen conveniences we needed. Loved the hike from the local grocery store and found everyone helpful and friendly.

This is by far the best cabin we've ever stayed. Beautifull place and surroundings. The cabin is well equipped - anything you might think of is there. We truly enjoyed our two days here and could've easily stayed even more. It's such an amazing place. Thank you very much.

Came upon this listing when searching for a place to stay while visiting Crater Lake. Red Blanket Cabin was perfect! Rustic but modernized, well equipped kitchen, all the extras you might need but didn’t pack…..and so private! The outdoor shower and tubs were a plus and welcome after a day of hiking. Red Blanket Cabin was the perfect location for hiking in south Oregon and enjoying Crater Lake NP. The owners provide everything you need for a fantastic retreat! The cabin and property are beautiful and so peaceful. We rent a lot of VRBO’s and this was one of the best!

Needed bug spray and they brought some right over!! Loved loved loved the outdoor shower and tubs. Also let us know about meteor shower to watch at night. Can’t wait to go back with my fiancé!!

An idyllic refuge for two couples. The entire cabin is a work of art and obviously a labor of love for the owners. We had a lovely, memorable stay. The owners have thought of everything to make the cabin comfortable, convenient and delightful. Some of the things we loved:
• The amazing woodwork! OMG the woodwork! Everywhere you turn there are artistic touches and skillful use of found pieces of wood, like all the cabinet door handles. And of course the gorgeous spiral staircase.
• The lovely backyard garden, with solar lights that come on at night
• The four different lovely places to sit outside.
• The enclosed outdoor shower and soaking tubs
• The very comfy SleepNumber beds
• The totally equipped kitchen, with every pot and pan, utensil and appliance one could need for a month’s stay, never mind a couple of days
• A whole closet full of plushy towels
• Nice bathrobes
• The variety of slippers (some of them quite funny) plus outdoor shoes
• The “honor cupboard” with snack bars for sale at cost, on the honor system.
• The wealth of information provided in the binders about local restaurants, hikes, etc., on top of the lovely book collection
• The cool collection of vinyl records – what a hoot!
• The proximity to beautiful hikes along the Upper Rogue River; and the very generous offer to provide a shuttle if one wanted to walk the trail one-way and get picked up.
I got mucho kudos from my east coast relatives for finding this wonderful place.

My niece and her husband stayed at this beautiful property on their honeymoon. It was even prettier than the on line photos. They were blown away by all of the nice touches and said it felt like a luxury resort. My husband and I will be renting it in the future. The owners are communicative and lovely to work with.

Very nice experience. Great cabin with terrific outdoor space. Very quiet and had everything there for a couple of nights stay besides food. Coffee and cooking supplies/ seasonings were all provided. Would have loved to have more time there but was a great base for visiting Crater Lake.
