Booked for my mother's 60th bday so we could all meet up (8 adults). Location was ideal, very quiet, good parking, amazing views and pretty quiet/private. Porch and great room were perfect for spending time as a group, but also offered space to do activities separately. Close enough to town attractions while remaining private and separate. Property manager was very responsive when we had several small issues with wifi probably due to windy weather. Quickly resolved and very professional. Not much privacy in sleeping arrangement, so maybe wouldn't recommend for group of couples seeking privacy, but for mixed group, family, etc very nice property. I would return for the views alone!

The whole wall is windows was amazing. Sunset was fabulous! Sleeping rooms are arranged oddly and they are in older part of the home. We walked to the strip. Overall a great stay.

The newer part of the home is beautiful. The older part has character. I was able to explain to my children and grandchildren what they should appreciate about both. Of course, the actual lake with the rock accents was the absolute best. That view along with the stunning sunsets will be enjoyed again & again with the hundreds of pictures and videos we were able to capture. The owners were very nice and helpful, too. The only thing lacking was a soup ladle! There were a couple of things that needed attention but we would definitely like to return to this rental.

My family and I had a very nice time at the Geneva on the Lake, 'A-Frame-of-Mind' property. Everything was clean, there was ample entertainment (lake, firepit, television, table games, etc.), the beds were comfortable and it was spacious. The lake views are unbeatable! Unfortunately, the dishwasher was not working and the property manager was not particularly helpful. However, Megan provided ample paper products to tide us over for the week which was appreciated. I would not hesitate to rent this property again.

My family and I will be forever grateful for the perfect stay in the perfect house! The plethora of amenities and things to do provided something for everyone. Our favorite momories involved cookouts and watching the sunset together every night on the massive porch spanning the entire house and facing the lake. Peace and joy abound!

Overall, the entire family enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic week! The living area and kitchen are very spacious and comfortable with expansive windows and a deck that offers a fantastic view of the lake. The bedrooms were 'acceptable' and were apparently part of the original A-frame structure - nothing fancy but the beds were nice! There are a few quirks with the floorpan layout, but nothing that caused us any issues at all. The online description was accurate enough, and while there are opportunities to enhance a few areas: like the basement game room and some areas of the A-frame end of the home, but the description was clear and we knew what to expect. Very easy walk to the downtown area and short drive to the wineries.

What a beautiful spacious home. The pictures did not do it justice. The living area was huge with plenty of room to spread out. We were a party of nine with two children in wheelchairs and there was still plenty of room to maneuver, even in the bathroom. Watching both the sunrises and sunsets from the balcony was a joy. And we could watch the kids swimming in the lake from the balcony as well..

This is an awesome vacation retreat. Everything that we expected and more.

Enjoyed the week at the lake

The first half of week had huge waves and very windy and could not utilize the beautiful surroundings and by the end of the week we had calm waters and could swim. The house itself, did not disappoint us. Again, we all had a great time being together and enjoying the beautiful deck view! We were here in August last year and July is just as beautiful!!! The Eagle passing by everyday and perching itself on a tree nearby was icing on the cake. This place is a little slice of Heaven for your get togethers and you won't be disappointed!!!

This property had three very important attributes: Fabulous great room for large groups. Wonderful extended porch to view sunrise, sunsets and storms. Best view of Lake Erie! Bedrooms and bathrooms are just adequate...but the first three attributes are the more important ones. Very easy to work with the owners. Kay Mooney, Austin, Texas

It was everything and more than we expected

We love this house on the lake. It is so beautiful! We also have people who need wheelchair accessibility. This home is perfect for that. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

We rented this property because we were going to be working in the area. After a long stressful day, it was great for the team to sit and relax by the water. Thank you for providing such a great place to cook, play, and stay.

fantastic view, grounds adequate. Basement smelled bad and was unusable. Not small child friendly. No door to steep basement stairs. No one would sleep on second level due to odor. Fourth bedroom on main level is an open room that you had to walk through to get to second level. Will not revisit this rental.

Nice lakefront home for our get together. We have been coming to GOTL for a few years and this is what we are looking for. The back porch sold us!!! Most of our time was spent there. The A-frame part is older but adorable. Such character and ambience and we will be coming back for sure.

Perfect place for families. The deck is the where we spent most of our time. The view, sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous! The Eagle was a bonus! The great room and kitchen are huge! Do take some shoes you can wear in the water, it’s a bit rocky(smooth rocks though). We had my 85 year old mom and the floor plan was wonderful for that. (A basement door would be nice though) All in all a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Look forward to coming back! Thank you!

We had a wonderful time - especially the view of the lake, relaxing on the deck, walking on the beach.. Even when it rained , we enjoyed playing ping-pong, pool and the Juke Box.

We have stayed here a few times before under another owner and loved it. So, when we were able to book again for this June, we were happy! Our family lives just outside Geneva in Conneaut. So, this house is a good spot for everyone to come together and visit. We had a Father's Day cookout and the kids played in the lake with kayaks and floaties. We love the spacious kitchen and living areas. Definitely will be back. This house is located minutes from the Strip where there are old fashioned donuts and rides for the kids. Great pizza and food for all. The little store up the road is convenient for last minute items. They have coffee, cheese, wine and even water shoes!

The property, view and privacy feel of the house is unbeatable. The newer addition on the side of the A-frame is a great space for large groups or families to gather and take in the view of the ever changing lake setting and gorgeous sunsets. The bathrooms and kitchen are new/updated and clean. The bedroom situation is tricky for multiple families- can sleep 6 in private rooms. Other spaces are in high traffic areas and the two bedrooms upstairs have to walk through a sleeping area and down the steps to get to either bathroom. The A-frame rooms were not cleaned before our arrival, trash was left in the cans, beeping smoke detector, as well as a lingering winter mouse problem. Porch furniture was not yet set up and much of it was cracked plastic. There's a real lost opportunity in the lower level - if waterproofed, finished and filled as a bunk room or even partial sleeping area, the house would be amazing. As is, it is a game room but a real water/mildew problem and generally unpleasant to be down there although it also has great views! I still rate 4 stars because the net result of our week there was wonderful and would probably return, but wish that I better understood the layout and didn't spend so much of my week cleaning and setting up the house for the season at this price point.

This was a perfect place for a family reunion that could have developed into very sad ocasion. Instead, the great room lifted out spirits. We spent the most time preparing food in the well equipped kitchen, and sitting around the fire pit watching the brave among us swim past the breakwaters. Friends from PA dropped by and stayed for hours, reluctant to leave. To fly in from Seattle and play hostess at such a venue gave me great pleasure.

It met all our needs for our individuals being wheel chair accessible, nice large room, the accommodations were perfect. We all loved it and all we can say is leave the light on for us. We want to come back. thank you
