Wonderful beach home and just a short walk to the beach! Private Pool!
Cette maison de plage de 5 chambres et 4 salles de bains accepte les animaux domestiques, peut accueillir 14 personnes et se trouve à seulement 5 minutes à pied de la plage. Grand salon / salle à manger / cuisine avec télévision à écran plat, DVD. Cuisine moderne équipée pour une réunion de famille!
Le premier étage (avec sa propre entrée privée) a une chambre avec un lit queen, un canapé-lit et sa propre salle de bain. Le deuxième étage a deux chambres avec lits queen dans chacune - qui partagent une salle de bain. Le troisième étage a la chambre principale qui a un lit king, une nouvelle télévision à écran plat, une salle de bain privée et son propre balcon privé! Il y a une chambre à côté du maître qui a un lit queen, un canapé-lit et sa propre salle de bain privée.
Laveuse / sécheuse sont au deuxième étage. Il y a une magnifique cour clôturée qu'un chiot adorerait! Nos frais pour animaux ne sont que de 10 $ par animal et par nuit. Il y a une belle terrasse avec un barbecue au propane et un magnifique coin salon sous la palapa. Venez profiter de votre propre oasis! Apportez à la maison vos poissons fraîchement nettoyés et faites-les griller pour le dîner! Property did not appear to have been inspected prior as the outside was a bit of a mess. Propane Grill not provided even though it was an amenity listed in the description. Upstairs air conditioner not that great. Overall the property has a great location, enough space for a large group and pool, fence and parking are great!

This house overall was perfect for our family of 14 and the location was good. The pool was nice and bigger than we thought. The cleanliness and maintenance of this home was poor in my opinion . The pool was dirty when we arrived. Several pillow cases looked as if they had not been changed. There were ants all around the pool area and trash that looked like it had been there a while. There were some loose boards on the deck and the downstairs bedroom smelled like mildew so much we had to buy air fresheners to try to hide the smell. When we arrived the trash had not been picked up yet and the kitchen was lacking some items . We did not receive enough towels for 14. I called about all of our issues and they did bring more towels and pillow cases right away, but they were not helpful about the dirtiness of the pool/bugs and trash all over until I had my husband call and then it was taken care of right away.

Very spacious and great location, would definitely stay again. Pictures accurately reflect the space. Only minor complaint is that we were planning on grilling a few nights and unfortunately the grill it states to be on property is in terrible condition and we weren’t able to use. Overall great experience and would come back.

This property had everything our family needed. The onsite pool was an added bonus. The beds were fine, but the pull out sofa bed was very worn. Luckily little kids were sleeping on it, not adults! The linens were very stiff from a laundry service but clean. If you have a large group, saying, I would recommend bringing additional bath towels. Overall, our experience was good and we would definitely say here again!

We came to celebrate our daughter’s high school graduation, with family. We had 11 people and it accommodated everyone nicely. The home layout is prefect for fun and visiting with everyone. Then there is the pool that was the perfect size and has shade. Short walk to the beach. 10 / 10 would rent it again!

Fantastic house to comfortably sleep 14. Pool was great and the management company was wonderful, had a weird leak with one of the outdoor showers and they were on within an hour on a friday to address the issue.

First the ac did not work then pool heater broke and couldn’t fix it also downstairs smelled like mildew. The property manager was very responsive but the whole reason we got pool is because we wanted pool heater due to weather. We got a full refund for pool heater days. Just will not be booking here again.

We had a group of 9 adults and 3 kids three and under. Overall the property was great—-close to the beach, clean, great property management, especially over a holiday weekend/week. I gave it 4 stars because the kitchen could’ve been better equipped—-there was not enough silverware or glassware for 14 people ( my in-laws stayed at a hotel but ate with us). In addition, one does not need 20 knives or plastic bowls or frying pans, but some Pyrex to store leftovers in, etc… Also I needed to buy the right kind of coffee filters and there was no tea kettle. But, overall, the property was very good and spacious and we had a fabulous time!

SO..THE DOWNSTAIRS AC WAS DRIPPING DOWN THE WALL AND ON TO THE FLOOR. WE CALLED MGT AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND MAINT...THEN I SENT HER PICS OF THE WALL WITH THE WATER BUBBLE AND WET FLOOR SO THEY KINDA GOT AN IDEA...THANK GOODNESS MGT CALLED AND SAID "I'M GOING TO MOVE YOU..WE CAN'T WORK ON THIS WHILE YOU ARE THERE....I WAS SO GRATEFUL! EVEN THO

Great place we have stayed here the past 3 years and it looks like it was just getting better. We have this place booked again for Labor Day weekend. It’s close to the beach, great room for parking and nice pool. It was even better when it included the Go Cart but I heard they did away with that 😞. That WAS the cherry on top. Especially using the Island Outfitters shout to them and their service with the carts. Please bring it back!!! Overall it’s a great house for large families. Port A Escapes has always been great with any issues and easy check in and check outs.

This was our 2nd stay here. last was 5 years ago. We love the house and the pool and location but this stay was very disappointing. I think house has sold. House was run down and not being kept up with. Showers were difficult to get a steady stream. Upper balcony not accessible boards on railing were not nailed down in places the grill was absolutely nasty snd should be thrown away. Pool area was unkept landscaping looked bad and the outside shower required to get in pool did not work. House could just use some maintenance.

This is a perfect house for large groups, 14 in our family. The open floor plan of the main living space comfortably fit all when we gathered esp for meals. Beds were very comfortable. One issue was the bbq grill was very dirty we did not use it but would have liked to. Skillets & bakeware were very worn. Overall great house, beautifully decorated, very close to beach, nice outdoor areas, pool was clean. We had an enjoyable time & will definitely return.

We rented barefoot dreams for our family. 8 adults and 6 children under 7. The home was clean and we loved the open floor plan. Everyone had a place to sleep and we loved the pool. It was perfect for.our little ones. We used our golf cart to make quick trips to the beach and to town.

House was huge, very clean and in a great location. Only issues were the light in the pool and canopy didn’t work. I didn’t have access to the upper balcony as is was locked from the outside. And the outdoor shower to rinse sand wasn’t working. Maintenance did show up Saturday morning but couldn’t fix it. A little bummed I didn’t get the whole package. Would I stay here again? Heck yeah! I understand that with a rental it may not be perfect. So out of 5 stars I would say 4.5. I’m confident these issues will be addressed. See ya in September!

We loved returning to Barefoot Dreams on Sandcastle Dr. Our first time post-Harvey and post -Covid, the only thing we missed we’re the o po angry items that are usually there. BUT we had use of a golf cart! Not a bad trade off. So bring your own sugar, spices, oil, and shampoo, and be ready to have a great time at the beach and pool. Plenty of room inside and out. Our family of 10 did NOT want to leave!

We’ve stayed here 3 years in a row and it has only gotten better with the addition of a beach cart that get delivered and picked up at the property. The location is great right by the beach the house was clean. Our only complaint was that we were bitten by ants in whatever room we stayed at. They were coming out of the wall sockets and climbing up your charging cable. But overall it was great even though it rained all weekend we still made the best of it and had a blast. I would recommend this house to anyone.

The house was great location and was clean. The yard was over grown. The back yard flower beds were full of weeds and trash from previous guests. The backyard pool area was not well maintained for the price you pay for this property. We arrived Sunday afternoon and the pool was full of sand from previous guest and there was a pile of old pool floaties piled up. The property was a great one, I just feel it could of been more cleaned up on the outside for the price you pay for it. I spent two hours cleaning up the backyard and pool area when we first got there.

Property was in great location-close to town and beach.
There were a few maintenance issues with the pool and the A/C in first floor apartment.
The pool’s filter system was not working right and the pool company had to come out twice to clean. The property management company was always quick to respond and very nice.

The home was beautiful, however the heated pool was a huge disappointment. With the frigid temperatures, we looked for a quick get away with Family - with the luxury of a heated pool, but unfortunately, we were not able to use it. Temps in the pool ranged from 42 degrees to 66 degrees on the day we were set to leave. We notified the Rental company daily and they tried to get the issue resolved - But unfortunately, no resolution during our stay.
