Perfect place for a Traverse City get away. Location was great to all up north attractions. Place was clean and well stocked with cooking supplies. Very fun outdoor set up.

Great location as a vacation spot itself and/or a home base to explore northern Michigan. Our family members from around the country who joined together for the week in cabin #5 are already planning a return trip. The cabins in the resort as a whole would be great for larger family reunions. We loved it.

You have to drive through some winding roads to get to it...but the view of Spider Lake from the cabin is gorgeous. Several levels of places to sit by the water with a small sanded beach area, kayaks and paddle board to use as you want. The lake is beautiful, calm and peaceful. The cabin was clean. Having a laundry room was a bonus. My dogs loved it!

Everything was top notch, no complaints. Quiet place to stay. Had all we needed for cooking at home. TV was great. Outdoor sitting area in the back for eating. Wife and I will be back.

Enjoyed our stay. Would come back during summer

The house was very welcoming (holiday lights and all!). Clean beddings and new kitchenware (plates/mugs). Sleeping was very spacious for 4. Great view of Spider Lake.

This would be an amazing summer rental even though cabins are super squashed together. Beds were super comfortable. Don’t attempt the drive down to the cabin without 4 wheel drive in the winter. Based on other reviews I brought my own cookware which was a good idea as we did tons of cooking and baking.

Cabin was very comfortable and even with a group of 5 adults and a dog, seemed spacious and relaxing. View of the lake is framed by mature trees and very picturesque. Host was welcoming and accommodating, even arranged for a pontoon last minute at the end of the season which was appreciated! Location makes it easy to be away from everything and just enjoy activities around the lake or get to attractions around the area, whichever kind of vacation you are looking for.

Kitchen cabinets all smelled musty. Dishes in cupboard dirty, had to wash before use. Pots and pans very worn and could not get clean. Dust bunnies under TV. Old paper receipt between bed and night stand. Positive: downstairs bathroom very nice. I'm sure the people prior to us paid a cleaning fee, as we did. I think they need to change their cleaning service, especially with COVID. where things cleaned well??

This property was nicely located in a collection of 9 cabins on spider lake. The unit has a view of the lake and a nice private deck with table for dining al fresco. The cabin was more than adequate for us. It comes with 3 bedrooms complete with 5 queen beds. The unit has a nice TV for watching TV if the weather is bad. The furnishings are nice - modern tiling, comfy family room furniture although the kitchen is dated. The appliances are modern but the cabinetry is in stark contrast to the rest of the cabin. This unit is not directly on the lake, there is a well paved path down to the ater with a very nice new rock landscaping. Includes a nice gas grill which is perfect for spending as much time as possible outside.

The cabin was perfect for our family. Comfortable beds, very nice shower and bathroom. Sandy beach and water. Loved sitting the deck overloooking the lake, fire pit. Everything you need for a great vacation. Excellent location, only 20 minutes from Traveerse City.

By the end of the trip, the place definitely grew on us, but it just was not what we expected based on the listing and pictures. This is a cabin that is closely surrounded by other cabins. The beach is not private - it is shared by the other cabins and is a walk down more than a few steps. The beach also has steps into the water and is not a direct entry from sand to water, all of which was not expected and also difficult for our 2 year old. The kitchen had a slight smell to it that we couldn't put our finger on, and the oven had old cheese and meat left in the bottom. We tried to vacuum to keep up with the sand, but that just blew more dust around the place. When we went to put our daughter in her room, we noticed that part of the ceiling appeared to be bubbling and caving in. By the third night, there was a full blown hole in the ceiling. The owners were quick to come out and patch it, but it just left us with an uneasy feeling. I realize you are not going to advertise having a hole in the ceiling, but just overall, it was not what we expected. We had a good time and we were rarely in the cabin, so it ended up being fine. I would recommend this property, I just think the listing needed to be more clear.

Very clean, neighbors friendly, beds were super comfy. Beautiful view. Still
Cold when we went, would be spectacular in the summer:) Has a couple questions and owner promptly answered his phone.

Owners were very flexible changing our dates after we had to cancel our Nov stay due to Covid. We had a fantastic time celebrating my birthday in this cottage. We played games, made big family breakfasts, made s'mores & just enjoyed time together under 1 roof. Been many years since we’ve been under one roof all at the same time. I loved it!! Thank you.

The communication was great and the check in was easy. The property was absolutely beautiful and we rented the pontoon for a Lake color tour... stunning. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends. It is in a community setting and you do share the fire pit and dock.

Over all the experience was good. There were six of us and the property SDSU’s it was good for 11 people, that would have been very challenging if they were all adults. Kitchen was very small and barely fit the six of us. Outdoor space was nice!

First of all- let’s start with kitchen, no good sharp knifes, cabinets had food from who knows how long like flour, peanut butter, etc! All the cabinets should be cleaned out, people usually bring their own food.. Now with living room, the couch and love seat had recliners but they were broken and leaned to one side the manager said waiting on the company to fix them. I don’t care about that, get new furniture for people to relax in, it was awful uncomfortable!! Now the upstairs, you better be short people because the ceilings are angled and my brother and nephew both hit their heads, it was just not what we expected, both bedrooms need new dresser, I felt like if you pulled on too hard they would fall on my feet. I’m sorry for venting like this but I really don’t think it was worth the money! It was the worst place we had ever stayed in!! And the windows in bathrooms and bedrooms were so dirty around the sills hadn’t been cleaned for years, and you can’t open them in case you need fresh air, just awful! Very disappointed what a wasted vacation week!
