Great property location, walking distance to everything. View of the ocean is perfect. The master bathroom shower door is broken. There are coffee machines but no coffee pods or coffee grounds. It was a nice property and enjoyed our time there.

Overall this is a good place to take your family. The location is amazing and the views are incredible. BEWARE, the primary suite bathroom is just not acceptable. Don't plan on taking a shower in the shower, it is tiny and I have been in larger showers in RV's. However, the area is vibrant and you can walk to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping etc. Overall the place just needs a little updating.

The ocean views are terrific. The property is okay. When issues arose with electrical and plumbing, management was quick to respond. The master bathroom shower is not so good. Like showering in an RV. Property is functional, but not terribly comfortable.
We definitely enjoyed the wonderful views and watching the dolphins in the surf.

Great views and very walkable to restaurant’s and bars. Recommend renting the electric bikes for some fun. Kitchen had all utensils but no coffee onsite but plenty of coffee shops 2 min walk away.

The view of the ocean from this property is fantastic. The house leaves a bit to be desired. We were a group of mature adults but thought that the house was more well-suited to a group of young people who didn’t care that much about their surroundings.

Falsely advertised as having a hot tub and air conditioning - i had workmen in (5 visits in total) over the 2 full days (3night stay) installing and repairing things - the door couldn't be unlocked to the balcony, it was opened but then at night we couldnt lock it! the individual air cons were really noisy, no working ceiling fan in one double bedroom, floor was dirty as was balcony glass. Cupboard handles were sticky - wasnt clean enough all round. My shower screen door came off the runners. smallest bedroom had a double bunk bed in it and you only had 1M space to one side of the bed which was just enough for a travel cot for my granddaughter, this room had no air con and was set up to sleep 4 adults!! downstairs bathroom smelled of urine - & im still waiting to hear from the company re compensation for a very upsetting once in a life time family holiday!

Absolutely a beautiful location, but I will NOT be back due to management. There was no working WIFI in the unit, we had to go out to the street to take a call or text. On our second night, we had a noise complaint, so we were then quiet. The next day, we were on the beach below, and I kept receiving from management about cars parked in neighbors driveways (we did not ) that we played loud music (we didn't have music playing at any point during our trip). Then we received another noise complaint and we were just watching a football games. Frankly I felt harassed and was unable to enjoy that day as I was constantly trying to find a location to respond to texts from management to defend our group for things we did not do. I would have loved to recommend this location, but can not do so because of the way we were treated by management - sad! Not a good way to get return guests!!!!!

The unit is fabulous & just as advertised. Perfect place for me, my grown children & granddaughters & my son in law’s brother & family. 9 total. Beautiful decor, comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, and the most spectacular views of the ocean I’ve ever seen & I’m 72 transplanted from the South. It was truly what we all needed. Please note that the AC is not central but not needed. Also, the patio of the downstairs neighbors is right below & very close to the unit’s balcony. But that does not lower my grade of 10. Can’t wait to return.

Ocean Views and plenty of room but...
As other reviewers have stated the place is good but the downstairs neighbors can ruin your time there. We had 2 large parties move in during our stay. First party of 12 was very respectful, they had fun and enjoyed the patio but abided by all the guidelines. The second group of 10 were horrible. They shouted and sang and disturbed us immensely to the point of us not wanted to go outside and also having to shut up all the windows and doors to stop the noise which went on past 11:30 for three nights. Very sad way to end our trip. Really think about this before you rent this property, I wish I had.

It was interesting to check-in at night. We were concerned with ease of entry and acclimating to new surroundings in the dark. But no worries, we made it into the convenient parking area and gained seamless entry to the home.
Over the next few days, my children and my grands flew in from New Jersey. The home accommodated us beautifully, bedrooms & baths, plus providing several different seating areas-children had their hangout room and we had ours!
-The views are amazing! Best seat in the house for sunset and moonset!
-We easily walked to excellent dining and awesome Beacons for beach access!
-Traveling to San Diego Zoo and Lego Land was a breeze!
The only slight complaint I would make, the downstairs home was being cleaned for turnover. The cleaning must have been very through because they were there from 10am-4pm. They were playing very loud music that interfered with our entire day.
Oh, and the rating for accuracy of listing-I chose this home because it had a hot tub to entertain the family on property. Shortly before arrival, I was notified we would not have a hot tub. The neighbors downstairs had one, but not us. Thinking a little credit may be due?

We frequent the Neptune rentals frequently so we have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly.
I will be completely honest with this property so there will not be any surprises for the next renter. I found some of the other reviews spot on. We rented this because we couldn’t get our usual rental for our entire stay.
It is a duplex so you are sharing with your neighbor. This unit has a rusted grill, stained patio furniture and an ok jacuzzi in the front of the house. So absolutely no privacy and honestly a bit too ugly to even want to sit up there. It has 2 small, but nice balconies with a nice view of the ocean. Only issue is your neighbors patio is directly in front of you so you feel like you are spying on them. I think it’s uncomfortable for both parties.
Nice living room, kitchen, snd dining room set up .
Shower head in first floor falls off while showering.
First bedroom with bunk beds—- like noted from a previous guest I think used the box spring as one of the mattresses. I went to Walmart and bought 3 inch mattress foam toppers so they could be slept on. I will leave them for other guests. Other bedroom has a nice king bed.
Washing machine timer does not work. Quick wash that says 15 minutes took hours to wash.

While the outside of the property needs a lot of love, the inside was everything I was looking for to celebrate my birthday. The view is exceptional and the unit has everything you could need. The rental company has outstanding customer service and the unit itself was incredibly clean. My only criticism is that if the other unit is occupied outside privacy is a problem. While it was fun to have the guys reunion screaming happy birthday to me at 10 p.m. my kids were wondering what was going on :). Awesome spot and thanks to Allie for finding me a perfect place to enjoy my bday!

Great Ocean Views
The best views you can get in San Diego. All you see is the beautiful ocean when looking outside. Great communication from the property managers making it very easy to understand the check in/check out process. Would rent again.

Starting on the positive, the home is in a great location. The ocean views are amazing and it was a lovely place to work from home for the week. Short walk to coffee, good restaurants and beach. On the flip side, I was not thrilled with the home itself. The photos show an updated modern home but this place is anything but. Paint was spotty in some places, floor is warped and had a very musty smell that we aired out ... also bought a candle. The sink in the master bath was backing up and it took nearly 24 hours for it to be fixed - meaning people were in and out the home with dirty work boots. We also stayed out of there as there was back soot in the sink overnight. The outside fireplace also didn't work. When I requested someone to fix it, they dropped off propane [which I specified it didn't need]. In a three day visit, and workers fixing the pipes for two days already, I gave up and we never used it, but mind you it's cold and windy out there. The floor throughout was also dirty [not to mention hair left over in the master bathroom for which I requested extra cleaning]. My son is a crawler and his pants were brown at the end of each day. Overall, would not stay here again and would not use their properties again.

Beautiful view!
This place had a beautiful view! Enjoyed a beautiful sunset everyday. Easy area to walk around in. If you are sensitive to sound, then just a caution that if someone does have the place rented below, it can be quite noisy. The code didn't work when we got there and I did have to call about 10-15 times before I was able to get a hold of someone, but she was able to fix the issue on the phone which was great. We’ll definitely be back!

Great location
The property was clean, in a great location, unbelievable view and plenty of room. The down side, the shower in the master suite is tiny (3’x3’) and basically unable. The showers in the other two bathrooms are really difficult to control the shower water temperature. One bedroom has small bunk beds and not a queen as shown in pictures.
Overall, We would definitely would stay here again.

We liked the location. Walking distance to retail and restaurants. Very simple design, constructed for a rental. Views were awesome, but interior lighting, furniture not something we liked. Very inexpensive and low quality. Master bath was very small, shower very, very small. Vanity cheap and again very small.

The location of this condo cannot be beat -- right in downtown Leucadia and near the Beacon's Beach Access. The condo was not 100% what we were expecting from the pictures. A little more run down and dated than advertised (the refrigerator was literally falling apart which we let them know about upon check-in) but the view of the coast and ocean was just as pictured which was very nice. One downside that you don't notice from the pictures is that another very large condo is right underneath you and their back porch is literally right in front of you when you look outside so it is not very private if you want to hang outdoors on the porch. When we arrived they were having a large party with beer pong and lots of cans and cups everywhere with loud music so it tainted the beautiful view until they checked out later in the week. Having 4 bedrooms was really nice and 2 of the 4 had nice large TVs in them. The wifi was in and out throughout our stay which we let management know and after a few hours they fixed the issue. If you are going for location and view and can overlook that the place is a little rundown this is your place.
