House was very clean, owner was easy to communicate with, and a fantastic location for anyone wanting to be close to Squam. The pool table was a nice bonus. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay! It was the perfect fall weekend. The home was spacious and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals in. Communication with the host was great. Would definitely come stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. The location is tucked away and provides great fun and relaxation for all. The property was neat and clean. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dining ware, cooking utensils, and the house option to grill or cook. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The living area had plenty of space with a large selection of board games and a pool table, table tennis, and fuzz ball game. We wished we could have spent more time on the property. Our daughter's wedding was on 8/27/22 at The Barn on The Pemi. We came up on 8/25/22 and stayed until 9/2/22. Paul was great to work with. The morning of the wedding, the bridesmaids came to the house to get ready. The house was so comfortable because of the amount of space between the living room, dining room and 4 season room off the kitchen. The makeup artist and hairdresser had their own spots to work in. We couldn't have asked for a better place to get ready. The weather was gorgeous. The girls were able to relax on the wrap around deck as they were waiting their turn to get ready. On 8/28/22, we had a bridal luncheon for the wedding party and our siblings. That also worked out so fantastically. It was a gorgeous day. Between the inside and outside wrap around deck, everyone really enjoyed themselves. My husband and I can't thank Paul enough for allowing us to use his beautiful home for the wedding. It made everything go so smoothly. A million thank yous Paul. My husband and I got to enjoy the house by ourselves from Sunday afternoon, after everyone left the bridal luncheon, through Friday. We had a pass to Holderness Town Beach which was about 5 minutes away from the house. It is a gorgeous relaxing place and it's a little bit of Heaven on Earth. Squam Lake and the surrounding area is one of our favorite places. If you have never been, we highly recommend it. If you're looking for a wonderful house to stay in, Paul's is the house. This property was even better than described! The house was clean, spacious, and has everything you need and more. The lot is beautiful, serene, and very private. We really enjoyed sitting by the outdoor fireplace on cool evenings. The owners were very responsive, the house was very clean. I come to the area every two years around this time, and I will be watching for the calendar to open up for 2024 so I can book again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The property was in a beautiful setting. The house had a great rap around deck and screened in porch. We had a wonderful time and would definitely consider going back there.

This was an awesome place to gather with friends and family in the woods. Lots of indoor and outdoor space to spread out and enjoy the calm.

Just what I expected.

Our family Thanksgiving was wonderful. Plenty of room, clean and a relaxing aura. Very family orientated, lots of children's games, toys, and neccesities. Owner is very friendly. Beautiful view in a wooded, secluded setting.

We just didn't feel comfortable in this house. It felt like we were invading someone's home. There were children's art projects on the mantle and refrigerator. The freezer had an open container of ice cream, otter pops, and a large box of hamburgers left in it. The mattress in the upstairs bedroom was VERY firm and uncomfortable. The downstairs bedroom didn't have any nightstands. The downstairs bathroom didn't have any shelving to put our personal items on. The upstairs bathroom shower was very dark. And we were VERY disappointed that the fireplace in the sunroom didn't work. The grounds are nicely landscaped and it would have been nice to sit in the sunroom during breakfast. I did enjoy walking around the yard every morning.

The house has everything you expect it as advertised. Thoroughly enjoyed the use of the sun room, sitting at the balcony and had lots of fun with the pool/ping pong table. Kitchen is more than adequately equipped and the house overall is clean with loads of linen and towels for guest to use.

Easily accessible from the highway but also very secluded. Very close to some well known ski resorts, supermarkets and gas stations. The home is very comfortable, it literally has everything you need other than food. We had an amazing stay and could possibly be back in the near future!

We were in town for a wedding and this property was exactly as described. Very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The local towns are beautiful. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the area! Paul was a great host ...very responsive!

Stayed here with my son, my siblings, and their children. This home is perfect for extended families - lots of games for kids, two nice bathrooms, a well-stocked kitchen for family dinners, and we loved the screened porch for relaxing in the evenings. It was clean, exactly as listed, and Paul was super helpful when he found out a baby was part of the party; he made sure we knew where the safety items were and advised us about some small toys we’d want to remove from baby’s reach. A great stay and if we’re in the area again, we’ll be back to this house!

Everyone agreed this was our favorite house so far, lots of room, lots to do during rainy days. We had fun exploring the area! Owners quick to respond and very professional, provided detailed information about area and house.

We had a great time on our trip. The place was clean and quiet. So nice to relax on the deck or in the screened in porch. Playing a game or two of pole was nice too. I would recommend the place to friends and family. The person we talked with(think it was the owner) was great replied to my question very fast and had things ready for us. Looking forward to going again.

Beautiful house. Very clean. Great layout. Great amenities. I haven't played that much pool in a while. The location was perfect for us. Easy access to Squam and downtown Plymouth. Make sure you stop at Owens farm stand. Paul was very helpful and made himself available if needed. Would most defintely recommend this house if you are looking to stay in the area.

This home is really private with a beautiful deck. They have a huge board game collection, a pool table and foos ball!! The house was really well stocked, super clean and Paul, the owner, was very responsive and helpful. We all had a great time!

This was a lovely spot for our short visit to Holderness. We had a group of 6 guests and everyone was comfortable. It is at the end of a cul-de-sac so it is very quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and organized. We could not find beach towels, though, and would recommmend soap in the bathrooms. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay. I recommend this to a family or large group of friends. Great pool table and foosball table on the ground level. Nice screened in porch in the back. Love the deck. Very inviting.

The house is bigger then it appears. The country open wood living room is very nice and fits the location perfect. Lots of games and things to do. Bring a speaker for the basement if you plan to spend lots of time down there with the pool and ping pong table. Fire place is beautiful and creates great heat and look. Owner was super attentive and very kind. House is in over all good shape, some things are slightly dated but doesn't take away from the house. 30 minutes to all major activities with nice local food places about 15 minutes away.

Just right. Nice touches not seen in pictures like warm stone inserts in the besutiful wood floors. Perfect for family get aways. Well stocked with games for all ages. Owner was very nice and very helpful. We had a great time!
