The location is ideal and located next to the airport. It is probably the best value villa in Tar Bay area. The width/accessibilty of the beach in front is subject to the weather and tide and it can shrink to nothing. I would assume the beach is wider in the summer months than the winter months. Being on a point, the house is exposed to additional wind but it also makes it easier to kayak to Duck Cay which is relatively close with some of the best snorkeling/freediving off of Great Exuma and empty beaches. It is in the middle of Great Exuma so its easier to almost equidistant to both the north and south of the islands. The house itself is better kept and more modern than similar villas in the area. It is cleaner and the parking situation is much better than most villas that are directly off of the highway. That is an often overlooked convenience, especially with kids.

I spent 3 nights at Coconut Breeze with my two (late 20s) children and their partners. The 3 BR and 3 BA home didn’t disappoint. The views are spectacular, the home is clean and well appointed and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The waffle robes were an unexpected treat. The first night we pulled out the lounge chairs and gazed up at the stars- without light pollution and with the sound of the surf in the background - it was magical.

The location was perfect to go either direction on the island. We enjoyed staying here, super clean property, loved the oversized bedrooms & all having own bathroom. Lawrence was great for us and helped us get our lost luggage back so we could continue enjoying our trip! Sidney was also great to communicate with! Highly recommend!

We love Exuma!!! Thrilled to find this house. We typically stay in a more “rustic” cottage when we come…this trip, we and for nicer accommodations since we had my mom and dad with us. Sidney was super accommodating and responsive. The property was probably the most well-appointed rental I have ever stayed in (especially the kitchen). The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars on “accuracy of online listing” was bc of the beach situation. The pictures reflect a usable, accessible beach. That is not the case, for some. While the teenagers and 40-somethings were able to scale down the rocks to reach the water/beach, my parents were not. Abd we never had beach in front of the property anyhow; the tide never got low enough. So we were a little disappointed in that. But, it’s Exuma….you can get to all kinds of other beaches. Just be aware! Overall we loved the property. 10/10 recommend spending Christmas there!

Coconut breeze was wonderful. Ocean views and breeze. Nicely equipped home , spices well equipped kitchen and coffee filters made everything easy Highly recommended

There were three couples that went and we loved that every bedroom had a bathroom. The house had everything we needed and more. Great central location. The only wish we all had is that there was more beach in front of the house.

The property was beautiful, spacious clean and well equipped for family of 7. Enjoyed the beach and toys and outdoor shower made cleanup easy. Location was centrally located and quiet. There were callenges with AC units not cooling properly and internet not always reliable. Overall and enjoyable stay.

Coconut Breeze house is an amazing place to stay. The bedrooms are well laid out. It is a new house and in excellent shape. The kitchen as well stocked. We brought more supplies that we needed. It is steps away from the beach, although as others have mentioned at high tide sometimes the water comes all the way up to the rocks, we found there was almost always sand to play on. The beach is very walkable. The house is in the middle of the island which is perfect because there are activities at both ends and the middle is the easiest place to be. Also access to the airport is quick and easy. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at this house. We arrived a little early and the house keeper was just finishing up, she didn't mind if we set our things down which was very nice. From the moment you walk in the view just hits you. We didn't have any problem at all walking down the rock steps to the beach, we took a walk every morning. The beach is probably one of the nicest beaches on all of Exuma. I would definitely recommend this house.

Wonderful vacations. Everything was good

I was in charge of planning a family vacation and this house was absolutely perfect for all of us. My family couldn’t get over the location, how nice the house was and the beautiful beach right in the backyard. The location was in the middle for going either direction of the island. I had contacted the owner while staying and she was so quick to respond. I definitely plan on returning!

Beautiful property with great beds, air conditioning, and a view. The kitchen was well supplied with everything needed. Overall, really enjoyed staying at this property. I would say it's even better than depicted in the pictures. Yes, you do have to walk down the rocks and to the right about 200 ft until you reach the "beach," but my husband and I were still able to do so every morning to walk the beach with our cups of coffee. Before we left the US, the host was communicative about the flooding on the island and what to prepare for. A few suggestions I may add: 1. Having a back up generator for when the power goes out . (We had a power outage during a huge loghtening storm for about 4 hours, and the house just got really hot) 2. I didn't bring this up during our stay because our son just used one of the other bathrooms, but the bathroon nearest the laundry room had no hot water during our stay. -May need to be checked. 3. Although we faired fine without it, since we were able to adjust temperatures in every other room, not sure if the overhead air conditioner in the great room is "disconnected" or not. It was not operable/did not have a red light glowing like the unit in the kitchen. ( We checked to make sure no breaker was tripped on the circuit board as well).

A group of us went to Exuma for work and the house was ideal. Everything was Perfect!

Coconut Breeze was a beautiful, very clean, spacious home with an amazing view. The location was very close to the airport, grocery, and liquor stores. We were lucky to have had plenty of beach in front of the house for several days. Even when the tide was up, my kids enjoyed climbing the rocks to the beaches on both sides of the house. Coconut Breeze was fully stocked with everything needed, plenty of towels, beach towels, anything and everything you need to cook, games…you name it! We will definitely be back, it was an amazing vacation home.

Coconut Breeze was the perfect rental for the Bahama vacation we were dreaming of. House was amazing. Pictures in listing are accurate, but house was better than we expected. Clean, roomy, comfortable and amazing views and property. Host was perfect and very helpful in helping with all of our needs. Property is 5 min from airport and allowed for perfect center point for all of our adventures on the island!!! We had 3 teenage boys with the wife and I, and everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation this house provided. Host informed us of everything we needed to know, gave us all the information we needed to enjoy the area and the house provided the perfectly appointed kitchen to cook from. We would recommend this rental to anyone!!! It was a Dream Vacation, thank you so very much!!!

This is our second time to Great Exuma and our first time staying here. We brought our kids (9, 11) this time for the week of Spring Break in March. First off, it’s on the water and the views are breathtaking. The water is gorgeous out back and the sunrises are excellent. There is a large collection of rocks off of the back between the property and the water. The entire time we were here, there was zero beach…not at low tide, not at high tide. That was really the only negative. The place is spacious, clean, well stocked, and new. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful. We cooked in the fantastic kitchen everyday as restaurants on the island are very expensive. This house has all of the amenities you could want when visiting. We used the kitchen, the grill, the sand toys, the back patio, the Adirondack chairs, the loungers, and the boogie boards. We rented a Jeep and travelled to every beach on the island. There is a reachable beach area a couple of houses down from Coconut Breeze but for us, climbing across rocks was something we chose to do only once. According to others that left reviews here and in the guestbook there can be a beach at certain times throughout the year…we just didn’t see it. Beautiful house centrally located to everything you want to go see, in a car. 10 out of 10. It would’ve been a 15 out of 10 if we had a beach out back. Book this place. It really is wonderful.

Our family absolutely loved our stay . The house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed jumping in the van and exploring different beaches Our grandchildren loved everything we saw and did . We chilled at the house , played in the yard and on the beach, went for walks, night crabbing! Would absolutely stay here again

Conveniently located on the island. Home is very clean and spacious. It has everything you could need or want. A great choice for vacationing with family or friends.

Super clean house very comfortable nice appliances great view. Was not any beach at higher tides at low tide there was beach. Was easy to cut over on rocks to beach 25 yards away. Owner responded to my text question immediately. Great value would definitely come stay again

Excellent escape on Exuma!!

We loved the house. It was a great layout for our family of 6. It was convenient to the airport, and also central for travel to the northern and southern ends of the island. The only downside was the beach. There are alot of big rocks between the yard and the beach, which disappears for half of the day during high tide. It is not good for anyone with mobility issues for small children. Otherwise, we had a great time!

The house was so amazing and clean! Beautiful property. Great amenities and was everything described when booking. The view was great and sunrises too. The water was high so it hit the rocks but we went to other beautiful beaches instead . Will be back and stay here again for sure!!!! Very quiet and safe. I loved having a washing machine and kitchen!! The grocery stores were a little bare (holiday boat delays) so next time I will pack more snacks and food. I appreciate the house having extra beach towels and a cooler to take to beach!! Can’t wait to come back!

The house was beautiful, even better than the pictures, and very thoughtfully decorated, and well stocked and organized. We found everything we needed and more and were especially thankful for the crib and sand toys for our daughter. Sidney was super responsive and very helpful with all of our questions.

The house is great but its definitely not on the beach anymore. Its an ocean front house now as the water goes all the way to the rocks in the back yard. There is not beach to lay out on or to take a walk on as described. We rented this house because the pictures and the description said it was on the beach. When I contacted Sidney she said she didn’t know that the sand had washed away. She said that they had king tides and a hurricane a month ago and none of the other renters had let her know the beach had washed away. She said there was nothing she could do about Mother Nature and that we could still enjoy the beach that is to the right of the property. Of course we can’t access the beach she suggested from the house so I set out to try to find access. I found access one street over on an unpaved road. Its about a 15 minute walk on a main road without sides walks and then on an unpaved side street. I walk past bags of ripped open trash and past a sign that says it beach access for that particular street so I was trespassing... The beach itself was nice but extremely narrow and the water is very choppy on this part of the island. So, if you are looking for a great house on the ocean this is a great property this house is a nice option. But if you are looking for a house on the beach this house is not on one right anymore. I certainly didn’t pay 800/nt to lug heavy bags for 15 mins on a main road without a side walks to lay out on the sand without a beach chair and don’t want anyone else to do that either. You can pay a lot less somewhere else and do the same thing.

We had a fantastic time on the Exumas. House was clean, spacious, well equipped and just perfect in all ways. Water and views were simply stunning. The owner and caretakers answered all our questions and were very helpful. Everyone had a great time. Thank you so much. Kim

We spent the week with my husband’s siblings and their spouses. The house was beyond expectations. The location is perfect. All of the beds received high points and each couple had their own bathrooms. We enjoyed the kitchen for breakfast and quick lunches but it’s equipped for as much as you would like to use. Plenty of linens, towels and such. Loved every minute.

The beds were all incredibly comfortable which sadly isn’t always the case when you rent a house. The owners are responsive and incredibly kind. I can’t say enough about this lovely home! We were a group of 3 couples and had a wonderful week at Coconut Breeze. The layout of this house is perfect with wonderful gathering space and spacious bedrooms. The view takes your breadth away when you open the front door and look out thru the sliding doors at the back of the house. The house was very clean and well stocked with linens and essentials. We cooked in a couple of nights and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We will definitely be back!!
