Updated interior was very comfortable; free WiFi and modern furnishings. Beautiful view of the beach.
The only place to eat was Splash. The food was okay, but the prices were extremely high. For a family of 4, every meal was $100-$200. Staff was nice, but no one was in a hurry, and only a few went out of their way to accommodate.

The location
The restaurant is really old , dark and smell humid. The trash cans had maggots. Worms from not been pick up for days. The restaurant staff not friendly at all. The pool tiles dirty also full of grease . The hotel needs a lot of maintenance and need to be updated. Trash everywhere for days. They are not flexible at all with towels or anything. The do the less you can expect to please the guess.

plenty of watersports equipment to use. some good places to rest when we had an 8 hour wait until check in time at 4pm, a close easy walk to a selection of fish fry restaurants. breakfast service was friendly and efficient. they had a band in the restaurant one night which was really nice
Lunch and dinner food was very slow. We waited an hour for a plain hamburger to go on an evening where there were very few other people in the restaurant so don't leave it until you are very hungry to order.

The voucher for breakfast could not be arranged on the spot but apparently had to be arranged before hand, however this was not mentioned in booking.com
I had to switch rooms during my stay and 4:00 pm as check in time is uncomfortable (too late).

The location was perfect and the grounds were beautiful!
They were short staffed, however; the workers that were there tried to accommodate the best they could. The island had water issues while we were there and I feel like management could have handled the situation much better. Perhaps provided free water to guests and other discounts to compensate. We were given free water eventually, but we needed to make a big deal out of the issue. The price for these rooms are high, so you have expectations with the service you’re going to receive. Management should be more proactive with their guests. The issue itself was not their fault, however; how they handle the situation with their guests could be better.

the only part I didn’t like was that our hotel part was across the street from the check in building and we had to walk up and down the hill and across the street but to be honest it wasn’t really that bad lol

I’m guessing we got what we laid for, but our room was not in a great position (garden view?). Would have happily paid more for sea front. It also felt very expensive that we were offered a late checkout BUT at $27 an hour!

The staff was amazing. So friendly and attentive. The welcome email they sent in advance had so much useful information. They can schedule activities, spa treatments, rental cars and food shopping so it is there when you arrive. The location was perfect- right on the beach. It has a great restaurant on site (the seafood pizza was the best we have ever had). They were always asking how we were doing and if we needed anything and changing out our beach towels as we needed. We will definitely stay there again on our net visit!

We loved the location, walking distance to the Fish fry area. The beach access was perfect right outside of our room. The restaurant on site, Splash was delicious. Definitely recommend the Mahi fish tacos.
There was a lot of garbage around the beach area. This made me sad especially being so close to water and sea animals getting caught in it.

We had one really rude server otherwise everyone was great. Cindy and Alerlene made sure we had transportation! They were exceptional hosts

Great location, close to airport. clean and quiet. friendly staff. beach access is so easy. 10 minute walk to grocery store. restaurants super close by.

Cindy the lady of the front desk abs all other ladies there are so adorable. But ladies SPLASH BAR are DISGUSTING!
SPLASH BAR is the only place to eat there because you are far from other restaurants or supermarket. I was mistreated for the attendants there all the times I was there. nobody what’s to serve you, you have to beg to have a drink or a food. I went there for 3 times and the last one I didn’t could have a breakfast because the lady told “ITS 10 O CLOCK, BREAKFAST IS TILL 10”. we received an email that shows breakfast till 10:30AM. I would pay, it was not a favor.

Location seemed central and Splash was ok!
Updates should be made to rooms. Also, had to ask for towels and toilet paper, no room upkeep for the whole 7 nights we stayed. Disappointing in that I tracked down housekeeping for change of towels and more toilet paper. We took our own garbage out which was fine, but had to ask for garbage bags.
