La vie en bord de mer n'est tout simplement pas meilleure que cela. La plage est juste devant votre porte. Passerelle directement de votre terrasse à la plage de sable blanc. Il y a toujours une belle brise d'été qui vous tient à l'aise lorsque vous vous amusez au soleil. Nous avons des parasols, des planches de bodyboard, des nouilles, des seaux et des pelles pour vous occuper si vous voulez être actif. Un set de Bocci et / ou une frisbie si vous voulez monter d'un cran. D'autres aiment se détendre sur le pont, s'asseoir dans les «rockers» à l'ombre du surplomb et regarder les pélicans passer ou voir les dauphins traîner. Pendant la saison des tortues, vous pouvez même voir un caouanne. Profitez d'une cuisine bien équipée. Nous avons même des k-cups, du chocolat chaud et du cidre gratuits pour vous aider jusqu'à ce que vous exécutiez votre épicerie. Aimez-vous faire des grillades à la plage? Nous avons un gril à gaz tout prêt pour vos hamburgers de renommée mondiale. Nous avons des jeux de société, des jeux de cartes et des livres pour satisfaire l'enfant en tout le monde. Les autres chambres ont une nouvelle reine 2016 et 2 doubles. Nous avons donc des couchages dont vous avez besoin pour rendre Papa Bear, Mama Bear et les autres ours heureux. Vraiment un cadre de livre d'histoire, mais vous fournissez la ligne d'histoire et la fin. Les levers de soleil sont magnifiques et les couchers de soleil sont à couper le souffle ... Profitez-en!

Nice location, just can’t see the beach over the dunes but you can see the ocean. Beds not the comfiest. Place fully stocked in all aspects. (Games, soap, dishes, books, etc.) Barry was responsive to inquiries. Kitchen cabinets soft close which was nice. Overall stay was good!

Barry is an awesome host with great communication! He let us know as soon as the cleaning people had left so we could get in the house sooner. There were sand toys for the kids to play with and beach chairs so I didn’t have to bring ours. We were in a great location and enjoyed being able to just walk out on the beach and come back again when it rained. (Went during tropical storm Debbie). The beds were comfy and the cottage had everything we needed and more! Thank you for letting us stay in your home!!

We stayed here first about 9 years ago. It was a great experience then and even better now. So many upgrades! Kitchen is lovely and very well stocked. Living room is very comfortable. Gated deck is great, as we have a dog and it felt very safe for the pup and also for the 2.5 year old grandson. Bedrooms are small, but adequate. The mattresses in the front and rear bedroom off the kitchen are in need of new mattresses, but it wasn't enough to keep us from wanting to come back.

Property was exactly as advertised as just as good as the first time we were there, which was our reason for returning. Beach was awesome. Stayed with our dog who loved her daily beach walks. We had a minor issue with the new fridge, but Barry was right on top of things and kept constant touch with us while the freezer was worked on. Barry is a wonderful person. He happens to come from the State we live in and we had a wonderful conversation about old times with him. He even gave us a referral for a local doctor should my husband need to see someone. Could not ask for a better place, location or owner. We will be back and urge anyone who is considering this location to take advantage of the place to stay. 100% Awesome!

There's something really special about having your own walk way to the beach. The weather wasn't perfect in March but it was nice to watch the larger than normal waves from the comfort of the couch! Great stay.

This was our second stay at Barry's beach house on Emerald Isle. We can't say enough positive things abut it.
The location can't be beat...just steps from the beach. Although we stayed in February, which isn't considered beach weather, we enjoyed our morning tea/coffee inside while enjoying the ocean view. The beach was perfect for walking throughout the day, not crowded this time of year and so peaceful.
Barry has thought of everything as far as amenities. We didn't do much cooking, but he is fairly well stocked with dishes, cookware, etc for what we did need.
The house is very nice and was clean and comfortable. We needed a relaxing week and that's just what we got.We hope to return next year.

Barry has thought of absolutely everything to make sure his guests have a 5-star vacation. The property is extremely clean, inviting, cozy and well maintained. From the light switches to the remotes, all are labeled with helpful and clear instructions. Check-in and checkout were made very easy by the host. We loved being directly oceanfront. The location was great for short trips to grocery stores, surf shops, museums, antique shops and local artisans. We hope to get to stay at Seahorse again soon. Thank you Barry!

The weather was absolutely perfect for Labor Day week! The home was clean, comfortable and ideal for our family. The dogs enjoyed the stay as well! Barry was very prompt and over accommodating with everything. One of the best homes we’ve stayed in and will definitely be returning ;)

This lovely home is super clean. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets extremely soft. There were plenty of pillows on all the beds. The kitchen is very well stocked. The best part, obviously, is the location. It looks EXACTLY as it is depicted; right on the beach. We had three gorgeous days on the beach, the water was crystal clear and the warmest I've ever felt. Unfortunately, we left on Wednesday morning due to Idalia. I have no experience with tropical storms/hurricanes. I spoke with a few home owners Tuesday afternoon on the beach and they said they were leaving; that was my decision maker. I would 100% stay here again. Barry is an excellent host and very responsive.

Cute, nicely decorated cottage on the beach. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need including a full assortment of spices/herbs and nice plates/glassware. Communication with owner was very quick and easy. Location is an ideal spot as its pretty much equidistant to go into Emerald Isle shops/restaurants, as well as Atlantic Beach. Nice quiet neighborhood to walk your dog or ride a bike. Beautiful view from deck, especially if you are sitting on the rocking chairs. Tons of beach chairs and boogie boards available. Very comfortable beds and pillows! Quick and easy access to the beachfront right outside the back door. My one recommendation to the owner is to consider switching out the shorter rectangle wicker table with some bar height polywood chairs for additional views of the ocean. Thanks for a great stay.

Everything about our stay from start to finish was truly amazing. Barry is extremely responsive and the amenities he provides for the property are second to none. We enjoyed the quite peaceful days on the beach with the section of the island being very quiet and a little more secluded from the busier sections closer to the point and Indian Beach. Our Golden loves the beach and it was great having a closer in deck for him to dry out and relax on after the long sandy days at the beach. We’ve already booked our stay for 2024 and can’t wait to go back!
