Overall a great stay. Neighborhood is in walking distance to many attractions ( old city, first station, machine yahuda). Basic accommodation without frills. Quiet balcony for 2. Comfortable beds. Couldn’t get tv to work but didn’t much care. Small kitchen. Dryer was Weak. Should have screens on bathroom windows. Slight sewer smell in bathroom. Coffee maker would have been nice. Also has complete Shabbat ritual items and separate kosher dishes. we were happy there.

Nice property in a very good location. Walkable to most things in Jerusalem. The property was clean . Definitely worth a stay. On the smaller side.

Pros: Everything is as described, Host is very responsive, apartment is very clean with comfortable beds. You can’t beat location as you can walk to the old city and around the corner from US consulate. Cons: water heater takes a while to warm up when it’s cold outside. Few more coffee mugs and utensils would be very helpful.

We checked in by ourselves, using the coded door combination because the property manager was not available. Apartment was clean but oven and taster oven both needed cleaning. The so-called kosher kitchen was poorly equipped. All the plates had to be washed before we could use them. Nice that they provided separate sponges for meat and dairy (joking). Dairy dishes had 4 large plates, 2 small plates and NO bowls. Meat dishes had 4 large plates, three soup bowls and two serving bowls. Cutlery was sufficient. Only three small coffee mugs, one drinking glass and a few wine glasses. The cutting boards for meat and dairy were very small. No parve utensils, cutting board or dishes of any kind. Nothing equivalent to a chef knife, bread knife, or any other cooking tools. The pots were inadequate for any kind of cooking. Now on to the washer/dryer. The listing says Washer and Dryer NOT a combined device which washes then drys. A half load (7/5 kg machine) took an hour to wash, then almost four hours to dry, using the recommended settings. That got the laundry to just damp. We used the extra folding chairs, placed them in front of the wall heater, laid the clothing out and left the heat on all night. When I complained the owner told me to take the laundry somewhere and she would pay. Wrong answer! There is no lint filter that we could find or that was described in the vendors online manual, so there was lint on all the clothing and on the floor. The vendor's directions were poorly written and the property manager could not figure it out. NIce that the table seats six people but given these shortcoming they would have to take turns to eat. We did find the broom on the mirpset , itwas dirty and had to be cleaned before use. The clothes drying rack was in similar condition. In closing, great location but that is where it ends.

It’s a great place. Full of light, within walking distance to most places of interest. It is comfortable, large and spacious. Ori and Yishai are very helpful and concerned that one has all that one needs to make it a comfortable stay. And when shortly after I came in I notified them that I was cutting my stay short by one week, I was given a refund. I recommend this place highly.

Lovely little apartment a ten minute walk from Jaffa Gate. My parents were absolutely thrilled with the place, and we couldn't have asked for more. The location is the big advantage, but the apartment was well looked after, had everything we needed, and communication and check in was all smooth and easy.

This apartment was a lovely surprise. It was so clean and modern and the location is great. My father (75) and I (45) walked to the old city easily. The patio is lovely, though the slats on the doors were confusing to us as we had never used anything like that. They offered a kosher kitchen and even had a laundry machine. I love how the windows in the kitchen open all the way up!This is a wonderful place to call your home while visiting Jerusalem.

This place was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were very comfortable, which allowed our children to rest and relax after a long day of walking. The short walk to Jaffa Gate, the supermarket, and shopping was very helpful. Checking in was easy and Ori was very responsive when we had any questions. The only minor issue we had was needing better instructions on how to use the laundry machine. Additional tip: the International Jerusalem YMCA was only a 5 minute walk away and so we took the kids swimming here - if you are a member of a YMCA in your local community then you can get a one week free membership at the Jerusalem YMCA.

The apartment was very clean, well appointed and quiet. The location is within walking distance to many sites. Lots of great restaurants nearby and a short distance to a supermarket. We were able to find parking on the street. Owners were very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend!

Being near Mamilla Mall, Old City was very convenient. Place was spotless and had everything we needed.

I have rented many apt’s in the area through the years, and this one was perfect. Yishai met us and was available at all times for any of our needs. I would definitely consider renting again.

We enjoyed the location in Talbieh other than the construction underway nearby, a phenomenon throughout Jerusalem. Yishay was very responsive and helpful in getting us checked in and in making our departure easy. We loved the modern upgrades to the kitchen and throughout the apartment.

Great loction

Plenty of room for our family of 4 with twice as many bags. Yishai met us there to show us in and show us how everything worked. We were there in December, and the heaters kept the apartment warm and the shower hot. He arranged for a close by parking spot. 12 min walk to mamilla mall and grocery store were very convenient. There was construction near by that started at 7am exactly, but that did not annoy us as we are early risers - and helped get the kids up. A wonderful experience.

This was the best vacation rental we have ever had. Ori has built a beautiful apartment right in the capital of Israel, Jerusalem. The location is perfect as you can easily walk to the Old City as well as Machane Yehuda Shuk (market) and City Center. There is even a supermarket around the corner. I hope to stay here the next time I visit Israel- hopefully soon.

Hello Ori, My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at 16 Lincoln. The apartment is beautifully decorated. We slept very comfortably. And, most importantly, the location is fabulous. It was great being within a short walking distance to the Old City, Shuls, restaurants, grocery shopping, Ben Yehudah and shopping whether in Geula or Maya Shearim. The parking arrangements were excellent. Yishay was very helpful when we needed his assistance. Please thank him for us. Thank you Ori for letting us stay in your apartment. The location was perfect we were able to walk almost anywhere. It was also very convenient having a grocery store minutes away. The Apartment was spacious. Well accommodated kitchen. Every thing was as stated in your description. We had a great 5 day stay and for all that there is to do and see could have stretched that to 10 days and still not seen it all. Thank you! T

Loved the apartment. Two great bedrooms and a kosher kitchen. The space is modern and comfortable. The unit is clean and had everything you need. The location is amazing. A few minutes walk will get you to the Jaffa Gate of the old City and a few minute walk can get you to Machne Yehuda, Ben Yehuda Street, and Jaffa Street and the light rail. The only downside is the construction of the new apartment building next door. The sound of jack hammering would start at 6:30 am on weekdays. Did not ruin our trip, we treated it as an alarm clock to get out into the best city in the world.

We were 2 people staying for 1 month over Passover, and the apartment very much suited our needs, especially its location, and proximity, with easy access to transport, shops, eateries, synagogues etc. The apartment itself was suitably furnished, neat and clean, and kitchen, washing facilities, heating/cooling etc. very adequate. We very much appreciated that basic needs, such as detergents, toilet rolls, fresh linen, soap, coffee & tea, sugar etc were provided on our arrival (which was 1.45 a.m.!) Although seemingly a small matter, this is important nonetheless. The only drawback was the at times, quite loud noise from the drilling and building construction going on next door, but once construction is completed, this won't be a problem for too long. Right from the beginning Yishai was terrific, being very helpful and most courteous in providing for our needs, and nothing seemed to be too difficult for him to help out with our requests, and making us feel at home. We are happy to recommend this apartment, and would certainly consider staying there again!
