The River House est une cabine de deux chambres, qui peut accueillir 4 adultes et 2 enfants. Il dispose d'une cuisine complète, foyer, bain à remous, t. v., blue-ray, Internet et une laverie.
The River House est situé sur 8 acres de terres boisées et est la seule cabine de location sur la propriété. L'autre maison sur la propriété est le nôtre. Vous pouvez vous réveiller chaque matin et en mangeant le petit déjeuner regarder un couple d'aigles chauves poissons de la rivière Blaeberry. Dans les soirées regarder un troupeau de wapitis boivent de la rivière tout en ne jamais avoir à quitter le confort de la maison de la rivière.

The cabin is very beautiful, cozy and tastefully decorated and offers a great view into the garden and over the mountains. We had a wonderful time there, enjoying a barbecue, reading and soaking in the hot tub after hiking in the nearby national parks.

We had a wonderful stay in Golden. The property was lovely. It was spotless and very comfortable. We saw so much nature in the area. If you are looking for some quiet seclusion, but close to lots of activities (we did rafting, paragliding, canoeing, and visited the golden skybridge, a buffalo ranch and the world's largest paddle!), then this is just perfect.

We enjoyed this peaceful, lovely home in Golden. You can feel the breeze and hear the sound of the river and birds in the morning, making you stay home and enjoy your morning coffee. The place boasts of its surroundings, mountains, and rivers.
The RiverHouse is clean, well equipped with what you will be needing to feel you are at home. The backyard is big and we enjoyed playing volleyball in the afternoon. We enjoyed the private hot tub at night.
The place is close to downtown where you can visit local restaurants and bakeries. We got to enjoy our small trip to Golden Farmer's Market on a Wednesday packed with fresh fruits and vegetables, honey, and many enjoyable local products. We also enjoyed our trips to Thompson Falls and many places in Yoho National Park.
Antoinette and Grant were so great with responding right away when we had questions. The map and directions sent to us were so helpful in finding this secluded home. Thank you both for letting us stay and enjoy your place.
Highly recommended and we will return to Riverhouse, for sure!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. The cabin had everything we needed and was well cared for. We appreciated the hosts keeping us informed before our stay regarding the Canadian wildfires. Antoinette went out of her way to be sure we had everything we needed and were happy. We recommend this property!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The cabin was as described and Antoinette was a great host. There was a widespread power outage on our first night and she loaned us a cooler packed with lunch and beverages to take with us. Wildfires were getting close near the end of our trip and she kept us updated on road conditions for our trip back to Calgary.
We enjoyed the peaceful serenity of the location. It is a great base if you want to explore Glacier as well as Yoho & Banff. We enjoyed walks along the river bed, the hot tub after long days of hiking and exploring the town of Golden as well. Would definitely stay again if we decide to return to the area.

We had a lovely, relaxing vacation at this property. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It is about 20 minutes out of Golden but we loved coming back to our quiet surroundings. Cabin had good wi-fi. There was a rare heat wave the week we stayed and the cabin had no A/C but floor fans helped and it cooled way down at night so sleeping was very comfortable. The locals in Golden were very kind and we found it to be low key Banff with high adventure and without the crowds. We would come back again and stay and this property.

Gorgeous views from the property in any direction you look. The house was exceptionally clean, likely the cleanest rental property I have ever stayed at. Host also provides firewood which is a very nice bonus.

This cabin is amazing in every way! Beds are very comfortable, they provide fans and plenty of linens as well as lots of towels. The hot tub and fire fit allow you to have a true mountain experience. The kitchen has everything you need and the grill works great. We truly enjoyed walking the river bank, the water is absolutely gorgeous . This cabin is away from it all yet so close to everything. We had a wonderful time!!! The views from the cabin are truly breathtaking and make for the perfect place to enjoy and relax after spending the days seeing all the beautiful attractions near by.

If you are looking for an absolutely gorgeous and peaceful location completely surrounded by mountains and trees next to a river, then I highly recommend this "Mountain Paradise". The hosts were wonderful and even though they reside on the property, you are so secluded you wouldn't even know. The cabin was perfect for our group of 3 adults with stunning views from every window. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

NOTHING disappointed me about this home. Everyday we walked to the river to enjoy the gorgeous views and to revel in the beauty before us. We saw golden and bald eagles as well as the salmon spawning in the river.
Our hosts quickly became friends as we called upon them for numerous requests and suggestions. There aren't enough words to describe the extent they went to make our stay wonderful.

My partner and our dog stayed here for 2 wks in august. We loved the cabin so much we wondered how much it would take for Antoinette and Grant to sell it to us! The interior is perfect for 4 adults. Antoinette has thought of everything so we had everything we needed for a 2 wks stay. The beds are very comfortable. The cabin stays nice and cool inside even if there is a heat wave (close the windows during the day). The yard is perfectly secluded for your pet. Our dog is a bit reactive and having this yard surrounded by trees was perfect for her to be able to run and fetch her frisbee. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful spaceous backyard deck and grilled a lot of our meals. The hot tub is fantastic for the chilly evenings and mornings. The cabin is a 15 min drive to Golden and also makes a great base camp for plenty of other parks and activities nearby like Glacier, Revelstoke, Yoho, Kootenay, Kicking Horse. It's totally feasible to do day trips to Lake Louise as well but it was nice to spend some time on the other side of the Rockies for this trip. There is no lack of outdoorsy things to do here and we kept discovering new amazing hikes or lakes every day that we explored. Beyond the backyard is the Blaeberry River which is an expansive area that the dog also loved to fetch and my partner enjoyed fishing. Antoinette and Grant were always very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Absolutely 5 stars and highly recommend this cabin for your next getaway!

The location is veey private and quiet with a beautiful yard and hottub we seriously enjoyed (the stars at night are spectacular from there!). The mountain river is cold and beautiful with sweeping mountain views.

Our stay in the River House was excellent. The property is nicely updated. It was the cleanest and most well stocked place we've ever been to. Our hosts Grant & Antoinette who are at their house across this rental are super nice and helpful. My only issue was that I wished I had stayed longer.

This was everything and more that I was looking for. Amazing views, very peaceful , phenomenal hosts and comfy beds. I mention that because I am in a lot of hotels in the course of a year for business and I find a lot of the beds are not overly comfortable. These definitely were. Five stars all around. The cabin is beautiful, clean, spacious, and had absolutely everything we needed plus more. There were five adults - two couples and one single - and the space worked great.
We felt very secluded and enjoyed our privacy but also very welcomed by the hosts to reach out at anytime as they were right next door. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Big thanks to Antionette and Grant for giving us a home away from home for a few days!

we really enjoyed watching a bear eating berries in the back yard the hosts were very helpful. one stepping stone to the driveway was broken and our special needs daughter fell and banged up her knee! i would also suggest a railing on the back deck for people with limited mobility, i would have liked to see a recliner in the!! living room easier to get up and out of !do not get mr wrong i would stay here again. !

Just the perfect place to enjoy serene BC wilderness with all sorts of comfort! Grant and Antoinette are really amiable hosts and have created a little paradise right next to the amazing Blaeberry river. Having a BBQ whilst watching hummingbirds and listening to nature‘s silence - what more could you want? Maybe enjoying the hot tub after a day out hiking in the mountains!

AMAZING! Wow!
If you are looking for a great mountain escape in the pods but have all the luxury of a great cabin that has everything this is the place. It’s right on the Blaeberry River and only 20 minutes or less to Golden. Antoinette and Grant were fantastic host and can tell they take great detail to making your stay the best. The cabin is so clean and has everything from games and toys to well stocked kitchen. Our 3 year old daughter said it was her favorite place and lived the back yard to play with the toys that were there.
The fire pit and hot tub were just the icing on the cake What a great place to escape and have 360 degree mountain top views and heat the river from the cabin
We have already planned a return trip! This place is the best

A little piece of borrowed paradise
The cabin was even better than pictures which isn’t always the case. The location was not until he busiest of areas; we prefer not to vacation with hoards of tourists. The location was a great central spot to go on all of our adventures which we documented in the book for future guests. The hosts were more than accommodating and helpful with any questions and also provided suggestions. If you don’t book this you’re nuts!!
