Ce chalet de montagne pittoresque est parfait pour une escapade en couple. Niché dans les Blue Ridge Mountains, «Getaway Disosway» est un chalet de trois chambres, une salle de bain avec deux ponts et un bain à remous extérieur. Construite en 1941, cette propriété bien entretenue possède des planchers de bois franc d'origine et une baignoire sur pattes. Black Mountain is an idyllic town with nice people and lovely walks, great stores and fantastic restaurants.
We also enjoyed an amazing farmers market and were fortunate enough to be there for the Sourwood festival.
Also, Asheville is very close -airport , minor league Baseball and many more activities.
The cabin was clean , well equipped, cool and had a beautiful view of the mountains. We did see a black bear from our back deck - exciting from a distance.

Surrounded by natural landscaping which provides a feeling of seclusion and yet only a mile from town. Beautiful cottage stocked with everything you need. The owners are very easy to work with. We look forward to coming back.

We absolutely loved this cabin! So cute and quaint! The third bedroom is in the basement which is totally fine unless it’s the heat of summer because there’s no air conditioning down there. But we didn’t need the third bedroom so we were fine. Loved our stay and we will be back ❤️

This perfect home is located close to town and many shops and reataurants yet tucked away on a little hill overlooking the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the rooms were comfortable and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

This property was absolutely gorgeous. It was a quaint little country cabin tucked away in a very wooded area, but it was very close to several amenities in the area. My husband and I came here as I was the Matron of Honor in my best friend’s wedding. We had the bridesmaids come over to get ready and the natural lighting was perfect! We only used the master bedroom but it was a decent bed with beautiful decor and the wood walls and flooring were gorgeous. There were window unit AC’s that kept the house nice and cool. We used the hot tub once, and it was amazing. The hosts were easy to message and quick to respond. Would definitely recommend this place. 5 stars for all!

Came with my college best friends. First time we’d seen each other since graduating. We fell in love with the cabin immediately. Even more cozy than the photos suggest and in a perfect place. Right near town but separate enough and with a beautiful view of the mountains. Also used the kitchen to make an awesome dinner. My friends and I want to come back every year

Cute cottage feel. Enjoyed back deck and view. Nice fire pit. One evening watched bunnies playing and chasing each other. Downtown had lots of nice shops and good eats. The most relaxed we have been in a while, much needed time away was well spent. You won’t be disappointed with this charming location.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The cabin is very clean and stocked for guests. The hot tub was great to relax in after days of hiking. It's close to town with lots of cute shops and good restaurant options, but you feel secluded with nice trees and mountain views. Hosts were great communicating instructions and answering questions.

What a gem! We loved the location - it is easily accessible and convenient to downtown Black Mountain yet feels secluded with a beautiful mountain view. The home was very clean and well-equiped. We truly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to renting it again.

We spent fight nights at the Getaway Disoway in November, using Black Mountain as a base for hiking in the area. We loved everything about our stay - the first night we arrived we had planned to check out Black Mountain but we felt so warm and welcome at the cabin we stayed in, and repeated that for the night three nights. It's definitely that sort of place. It's well stocked with everything and anything you might need, and the hot tub is just the cherry on top, especially after a long day on your feet. We'd love to return again and again - it's quite clear why other reviewers are repeat visitors!

We absolutely loved our stay. For me cleanliness is very important and this sweet home was CLEAN! Anything you could have needed was provided. The location was perfect too. Just a hop, skip and jump to Black Mountain proper. The hot tub was nice and clean. The owners take good care of it.
If you had lots of money…the owners might consider putting in another window AC unit downstairs and screen doors on the front door and in the master would be great so you could open the windows and enjoy the fresh air. It was just my husband and me so the AC in the dining room and in the master kept the house nice and cool for us. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would like to come back again. Thank you!!!

We had a great time in Black Mountain / Asheville. The location of the house made for easy access for hiking, site seeing and visiting Asheville. Ingles grocery store was very close by which was good for us since we cooked about 75% of our meals. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The house is also very close to town. Tony was a good host.

This property was everything we needed. Felt like you were away from everything but truly close to everything. Pet friendly. Hot tub. Claw foot tub too!!! We would definitely stay here again. Was sitting in the swing out back and seen a bear at the edge of the yard eating out of the tree! We loved our stay!

This cabin is very, very, clean. It has everything you’d need for a weekend getaway or week long stay. We would have loved if this location was more secluded yet it was very close to everything we needed. We easily drove up to Chimney Rock from the cabin. The king bed is very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

I booked this cottage for a romantic Valentine's Day weekend and it DID NOT disappoint. Everything...I mean EVERYTHING was thought of in this cozy cottage...all the way down to robes for the hot tub. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bathroom had every towel and amenity you can think of. The house was thoroughly cleaned and the hot tub was AMAZING! The oversized recliner sofa in the livingroom was relaxing and the master bed was comfy. Gas station, grocery store, pharmacy all within a mile. The ONLY word of caution I will add is that the front door automictically swings close behind you and can be opened from the inside while locked...thus locking you out!! Thankfully I had placed the key in my pocket while unloading, but I can see how that could have been problematic! Other than that...not one issue. Tony (the owner) responds quickly and is very kind. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We WILL be back!

This was our second time staying here. Tricia and Tony are amazing hosts. The view from the master bedroom is amazing. The weather was extremely cold (-21) and we all stayed warm. The kitchen has all the appliances needed. The beds are very comfortable. Minutes from the historic downtown of Black Mountain. 15 minutes from Downtown Asheville. A must stay

We really loved this cottage. It was so homey and SUPER CLEAN! Hot tub was lovely after a long hike in Montreat. We really liked being close to downtown, yet we felt secluded. Tony was awesome in communication. We were thrilled to find a new comfortable place to stay. All of the linens were really nice. Kitchen very well stocked. We loved it here. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

My friends and I really enjoyed staying at this property, mostly for convenience. We loved being 4 min from downtown black mountain and a short drive to other towns such as Brevard, Asheville and Weaverville. We used the hot tub every night which was a treat.
