W zasadzie wszystko było w porządku. Blisko morza, restauracji i sklepòw. Ponadto blisko komunikacji miejskiej oraz przystani do rejsòw wodnych.

Gostamos de tudo! Tudo limpo e confortável! Banheiro cheirando limpeza, toalhas e roupa de cama limpos. O quarto que ficamos possui TV, AC, Frigobar, Chaleira, Secador de cabelo, etc… Funcionários simpáticos, localização ótima, pertinho da orla em Gzira. Tudo perfeito!

The only good thing about this property is the location in relation to the rest of town.

In two months of traveling, this is by far the WORST experience we’ve had. We arrived just before midnight and because of problems with the lock box and an unresponsive owner, we were unable to get into our room until almost 1 am. The room was NOTHING like the photos. There was black mold in the bathroom. In addition, we were awoken at 7 am by construction jackhammers and masonry saws on the two window sides of the room and interior construction behind our head in the bedroom. The noise did not let up all day so we left and found a different place. We filed a formal complaint with Booking.com about the bait and switch inaccurate description and we are in the process of escalating the dispute. My advice? STAY AWAY!!

La posizione della struttura a due passi dal lungo mare, dalle fermate autobus, traghetti e ristoranti. La disponibilità del personale! Ci hanno custodito le valige sia all arrivo (essendo arrivati molto prima dell orario check in) sia al check out lasciandoci la libertà di ritirarle entro un orario concordato precedentemente. La struttura e la camera erano abbastanza pulite. Cambiano la biancheria ogni giorno.

Non funzionava l asciugacapelli! Il box doccia rimane aperto per metà e Dovevamo stare attenti a non far uscire l acqua altrimenti allagava il pavimento, ma di certo non è stato un ostacolo o un problema per la durata del soggiorno!

There was a construction in front that started every morning at 6am, couldn’t got back to sleep afterwards. Very unpleasant stay, and far away from the nice beaches.

Renovation which was from the morning and it was impossible to sleep. From the nearby pub it was very loud, you can hear everything from the street 😔

Good location for anyone considering staying close to Sliema or Valletta. Room had everything I needed, staff was very friendly.

- The 'sea view' is a bit overstated. - There was ongoing construction work nearby but can't really blame the hotel for it.

Staff and location are perfect. Room was very clean. Perfect location so you can get to Valetta by foot in half hour or by many busses very fast.

Humidity in Malta is very high so in our room you could clearly see humidity and mold on walls. Also hot water tank was leaking which can be very unsafe apart from getting wet every time you sit on the toilet. Beds are a bit uncomfortable but for a short stay totaly managable. I would also recommend getting a stove in a kitchen since you have nowhere to cook anything.

Horrible, horrible, horrible! I can't find other words to describe this place. When we arrived the room was a freezer, the floor of the room was just like walking on ice, we had to use the blankets from another bed to keep warm, there was air conditioning but it was not very warm, we could hardly sleep that first night. The bathroom had no heating and was always damp and cold. One day there was rain and outside my room the water was coming through the ceiling and I had a WATER PLUNK OUTSIDE MY ROOM!!!! But that's not all, the cherry on the cake was the day we were leaving, our cab was waiting for us at 5am, we left our room located on the fourth floor, we called the elevator and what do you think? WE WERE STUCK INSIDE THE ELEVATOR, we had to turn on the help button, call the management and it was 5am and this hotel has NO reception service, I almost panicked since my plane was leaving in 2 hours, until after more than 10 minutes out of nowhere the elevator worked again, the doors opened and I went out to go down the stairs, and I almost slipped because the floor was all wet from the water seeping through the ceiling. The only good and positive thing was the hotel staff who were always friendly, BUT NEVER AGAIN WILL I RETURN TO THAT HOTEL NOR DO I RECOMMEND IT.

Check in was earlier than indicated and the terrace is beautiful!

There was mold on two walls and water leaked out of the shower cabin.

Good location, big terrace, nice staff. If we had some problem, we got help immadiately.

The equipment of the kitchen was very poor. Without a knife we couldnt make a sandwich or cut anything. The humidity of the room was extremly high.

A lot of space in my room, bed was super comfortable with two sets of pillows and right duvet for the season. Kitchenette was the real plus (a proper fridge, microwave and a full set of ceramic ware, glassware and cutlery - big table in the room) Aircon was efficient and the toilet was always kept clean (daily) - (towels changed on request) Breakfast delivered outside the room (fresh fruit, juices, cereals coffee and tea and freshly baked croissant, bread and a half a carton of milk)!

Maybe the view on the ongoing works in the building in the front. The light was a lot in the morning (good for me, not good for those who need darkness to sleep)

Booked this hotel for a long weekend for my family. Best choice I've made. Clean, spacious room, good localization.

Keep off this place! I had a reservation and after having let myself in (it’s self check-in, no staff there) I found a room that wasn’t anything like they show/tell on booking.com. There was mould in literally every corner of the room! The mattress and pillows felt damp, too. The guesthouse says that there’s been a problem with mould some time ago but that it had been solved. That’s a straight out lie and clearly not the case! Why would I be able to take photos of something thst doesn’t exist?? In addition to that, the pillowcases didn’t look fresh at all, rather like someone had been using them already. I felt utterly disgusted and just couldn’t stay - sleeping in a bed with no fresh sheets, with mould all around me? That’s a no-go! Also, there’s a lot of broken furniture (shoe rack, curtain holder) and a lot of noise from construction just across the road. On booking.com someone had specifically asked about that and the guesthouse’s answer was that all windows have double glassing hence good soundproofing, which is yet another lie. I left the place and found myself somewhere else to stay… Island Guesthouse refused any kind of refund (but it wouldn’t surprise me if they had rented out the room again just that same day), which was very disappointing. Yes, they suggested me to see another room but as the whole place smelled horrible and mouldy, that wouldn’t have made any difference at all. Why give me the crappy mould cave room in the first place if you have another one available? And also, maybe in that other one, ghe mould had just been painted over or such. For me, it wasn’t an option to stay under no circumstances… So my advice: Stay away and don’t believe any of their lies!

great staff and location near the gzira coast promenade. Free public parking also available among the nearby streets although you may have to look for a free spot for a while in the evenings.

breakfast is exactly the same everyday so it can get a bit boring if staying for more than a couple days.
