This place was so beautiful. We had a wonderful time. Would like to point out though, that the stair case, while beautiful, was not safe for toddlers. There is room at the edges of the steps, under the rail, for a small child to slip through. As a grandma, I was nervous about it. No incidents... just lots of held breath ;)

Our family gathered to celebrated mom’s 80th bday. Upon arrival we were mesmerized by this stunning property, which was equipped with all possible amenities. We all enjoyed the property and surrounding area. We would not hesitate to rebook with Gabriel. Gabriel was always accessible and was a delight to deal with. Mom/Gran’s birthday was a hit…all 16 of us look forward to returning in the future.

Terrible waist of money
Nice house but lacking in maintenance, pealing paint on the walls like a sleazy hotel, gas cook top has no fonctional hood, cooking utensils old and broken, heated floors system disfonctional, not hot water in showers after the 3 day, no escape window in children’s room and hard to reach the owner. All in all after 15 years of spring break trips with my family this (building) was the worst rental experience. Way overpriced for what you get!

We had a great week at this property. It is a clean, comfortable, and modern house in a good location. Kicking Horse was a great mountain and getting on and off the slopes from the house was easy. There are not a lot of dining options in KH (more in Golden) so it was great to have the very well stocked kitchen and dining room. We ate in most nights and really enjoyed the house. We would definitely come back.

We stayed in this house for a recent ski trip to Kicking Horse. The house accommodated two families extremely comfortably. It has easy access to the ski hill and is well appointed.

From gourmet kitchen to BBQ patio to hot tub this place had it all. It was perfect for our large family group. The location is beautiful and the view from back patio was breathtaking. This place had it all!

Had stayed recently in July with my family and was very impressed. The house is clean, organized and very well thought. It’s big enough for the 14 of us and still very spacious. I would love to go back there again.

This place was fun. The spaces were great for the different age groups. The only thing we didnt anticipate was the mosquitos and some things that were a bit run down. The backyard was overgrown and there was standing water in the gutters from rain our first night so we were practically eaten alive when we used the hot tub. The place just felt a bit forgotten about. Place could use some maintenance on some things (not alot but just some random things could be fixed or repaired. But really it was fun and we enjoyed ourselves. I would stay here again for sure.

Place was gorgeous and vast. Great for small groups or families. Plenty of spaces in the common areas. Views were amazing. Beds were comfortable. Lots of towels for the hot tub. Good kitchen supplies. My only complaints were small things …. The steam shower never worked, one of the fireplaces never worked, a faulty smoke alarm. Also there was a rain gutter that was detached. I know the weather was bad but these are things I would have thought that would have been checked out before we arrived. Also the landscaping hadn’t been taken care of like some of the other properties. Really a beautiful place and I’m sure these things are fixed now, but based on the cost, felt these things wouldn’t have happened.

Went for beautiful wedding at Eagles Eye. House is 1000% terrific. Experience was over the top in every way. Owner is extremely responsive. Only minor critique would be better sound system for music and better air conditioning.

We had a great stay to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. The house and property was wonderful and accomodated our large family perfectly. The hot tub and steam room was awesome and the location was beautiful with lots to do in the local area. We will stay again for sure. Gabriel was a great host!

Only 3 people on the trip ended up getting there for 1 night due to our home town we are from had to get evacuated due to the forest fires . (Drayton Valley). Nobodies fault just unfortunate we were not able to experience the stay

Perfect for Family/Friend
Lots of room to socialize for the family/friends. 2 living rooms. Those playing games hung out in one comfortable room while those that wanted to chill and chat could be in another very large room with several comfortable couches.
Large dining room with lots of space. Bedrooms where private with many bathrooms. The bottom floor bunk bed room was perfect for families with kids. Younger ones could go downstairs to sleep in a quite environment while the adults could continue to socialize in the great room upstairs.
Lots of fire places around the house to make it cozy in the winter.
A bit of a drive to downtown Golden so good to stock up before heading up to the house.

Very nice experience
We 16 person stayed at this location and enjoyed lot our stay. Hot tub, rest room, kitchen, living room, bedroom almost everything in a best shape.
Only thing we found leakage above dining area on main floor from common washroom on floor 2. Need washroom tub repair as it is clogging somehow.
Secondly, water was not hot in all wash room on the next day, but these matters can resolve by owner. I found owner is very co-operative. Overall experience was very nice and I would recommend to everyone who is looking for a good size house to accommodate and unit family and friends. I will visit again next year too. Thanks

Had the privilege of booking this beautiful property with a group of friends for a weekend in late November. Everything was exactly as listed. Well maintained and stocked with everything you could need. The property exceeded our expectations. Heated pathways, outdoor fireplace, spacious hot tub and a relaxing steam shower. If it’s available, treat yourself and book this property.

Family Friendly
Great home for family get togethers. Lots of space. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to use for large family dinners. Wonderful location for hiking/ skiing. One note of caution, the stairs have narrow treads and if someone has difficulty on stairs…this is not the place for you.

The property was “well used” and needed a thorough cleaning.
There was no AC at this property and with the summer nights being very hot we tried to open windows to cool the house down in the evening. Most of the window hardware was removed so windows couldn’t be opened. I wish I would have known that the toilet didn’t have its own room in the ensuite. The picture online doesn’t show that. It was separated with a half wall in the master bedroom. Overall the layout was great for this home. The “bedroom” in the basement had no windows, but our two teenage boys didn’t seem to mind that. Quiet community. Hot tub was nice. There were two walls in the living area that looked like they had water damage. The upstairs loft area had a huge carpet stain. Overall it felt the house was not well maintained.

Family Ski trip
Originally we had this property booked for two families - with Covid restrictions we needed to reduce to one family. Gabriel was more than accommodating to make this happen. We did have a few issues with the heating but he was immediately available and brought over space heaters until the problem could be fixed - the property was well stocked with everything we needed. Gabriel is an exceptional property manager. This was our second year renting from him and we would recommend any of his listings. The location is the best on the hill with easy ski in and out. Beautiful views and comfortable accommodation for everyone. The house is huge. The pictures truly do not capture the size of this place. We will be back again next year!
