Very clean! Great location in quiet area. Comfortable for our family of 4. We loved our trip to Colorado Springs and appreciated having a comfortable spot to rest.

This was an excellent place to stay. It was very convenient to Old Colorado City (could walk there in 5 minutes) and it was like a home away from home. The owner was easy to reach with any questions and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, even offering to make dinner reservations for us our first evening in town if we wanted. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting to see what this part of Colorado has to offer and would definitely stay here again. It was a great place to stay and great place to visit.

If you're looking for a perfect spot to take in all that Colorado Springs has to offer - look no further. The property is ideally located (3 minutes from seemingly everything) and is very well maintained. We'll certainly be back!

The home is wonderful. Clean, comfortable, really nice in every way. I worked from Here and it was great. It’s very convenient to walk and explore OCC. I will stay here every time I come to Colorado Springs to see my daughter. Thank you for a great week.

We had friends and family at the property to celebrate Thanksgiving. David was great to check to see if we needed anything and brought over folding chairs for dinner guests. We walked to breakfast and explored old Colorado City and the Garden of the Gods.

The house is exactly as the pictures show. The yard is small, big enough for my dog to her business. Dave got back to me in timely manner to answer any questions I had. My only problem was in check in. When you enter your code on key pad you need to turn the knob to open door. I was used to entering code on keypad and the door opened. Great location. Great owner!!!!!!

If you’re looking for a cozy, romantic house to stay in this is it! I loved every single thing about it. Can’t wait for another visit!

Our third fall visit to Colorado was a good one! The location of David’s Vrbo is a short walk to downtown Old Colorado( very nice farmers market on Saturday). Palmer Park and the New Santa Fe Trail were a short drive away for hikes and bike rides. The house was in a nice quit neighborhood, we enjoyed the covered back patio every early morning and late afternoon. Most important alway for us is a clean well kept property, Dave has got it down! Dogs/pets are welcome but be aware getting them out on walks will be necessary there isn’t much yard for fetch. PS lots of nearby dog parks, and trails. We felt very comfortable !! Thanks Dave

David was an amazing host! Very helpful with all our needs and the property was in the perfect location to everything we wanted to do! The house was clean and so very cute! The only thing is if you are going when the weather is warmer, the second bedroom does not have air conditioning in it. But other than that, would definitely stay here again!

The home is wonderful with all you need for a relaxing stay. Close to Old Colorado City, Pikes Peak and Rocky Mountain adventures. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area - and you might even see the neighborhood deer! Highly recommend.

Perfect location for anything you might want to do in Colorado Springs/Manitou area. Garden of the gods,manitu incline, pikes peak, are all minutes away. Royal gorge a bit of a drive but not far. Great restaurants and shopping on Colorado Avenue. Best vrbo host i have had in the last 10 years. Beautiful home, very clean and spacious!! Great outdoor sitting area.Host gets right back to answer any questions. I cant say enough wonderful things about this home. Highly recommended!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bijou house. The home exceeded our expectations and provided a level of comfort as a home-away-from-home while traveling with an adult child. While there is another rental property adjacent to the home, there is ample privacy including a fenced-in covered back porch that we enjoyed during a rainstorm. Very quiet neighborhood. Would absolutely stay here again! Unexpected amenities included a gas fireplace within the covered back porch!

Absolutely lovely stay here at this property, i would recommend updating to a smart tv in the bedroom for us millenials but otherwise amazing, fave part was that full tub. Oh and maybe a mattress upgrade, but we're spoiled with a purple mattress ❤️

Great place, quiet, at a walking distance from Old Colorado Main Street (a special mention to the French bakery) and 5 mn drive from Garden of the God and 10 mn to Manitou. Well decorated, well equipped with everything you may need, nice outdoor patio on the backyard. David has been very helpful and welcoming. It’s the place to be in Colorado Springs !

The house had everything we needed to feel right at home and a great location for Old Colorado City.

We had the Best time here! It is a great place for my mom (87 years young), and 4 other women of various age groups. We rented both places and had So much fun! Everything we needed was here. David the owner was so attentive and took care of everything we needed.

Home was clean, functional, and we had everything we needed for our stay! Host was helpful with suggestions and responded promptly!

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect- close to everything we were interested in visiting. The furnishings and art were very tasteful, and the home had an overall comfortable and cozy atmosphere. It was too cold to use the covered outdoor patio, but we hope to visit again and make good use of it! The host, David was outstanding and very accommodating. Plan to be back!

Loved, loved, loved staying at David’s home. Exactly as pictured. EVERYTHING you would need for your stay. Great communication and great recommendations were given for places to see and places to dine. Nothing disappointed. The home was quiet and we felt very safe there. This is a great house for a vacation to Colorado Springs. It is nicely located in a quiet neighborhood while still being a short walk to good restaurants and shopping in Old Colorado City. The house was very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. I would highly recommend this house.

We visited our family in Colorado Springs for Christmas. We found the perfect place to stay! Perfect location and perfect place to stay! We will definitely stay again!!

My husband and I stayed here with our two daughters (17 and 21) while we were visiting our son over Thanksgiving. The home was exactly what we were looking for and more. The house was plenty spacious for the four of us; the kitchen very well stocked (we could have fixed Thanksgiving dinner there if we hadn't been at our son's apartment!); and the location was very close to the restaurants and shops of Old Colorado City. Two notes for anyone looking to rent the house: * The walk to OCC is about two blocks down a reasonably steep hill (and then back up on the return!). * The only shower/tub requires access through the master bedroom. This was not an issue for the four of us as a family, but might not be as suitable for two couples sharing the house. We would definitely recommend the house and hope to return again ourselves (hopefully in warmer weather when we can take advantage of the back patio and the proximity to OCC).

My son and I stayed in Better Bijou for an extended weekend trip to tour UCCS and the surrounding area. David was a fantastic host, communicating clearly and easily with us when needed. We had a great stay and were very comfortable.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Bijou House. The location was extremely convenient to Old Colorado City restaurants and shops, and to the sites we wanted to visit (Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, etc.). The house is only a couple of blocks off of main street. However it is a fairly steep walk back to the house, which could be a challenge for someone who has asthma or has difficulty walking. Host David is excellent at communicating, very responsive to questions both before and after the booking. Highly recommend!
