A propos de ce maisonrental
Artsy Historic Downtown 2BR w large backyard & private Salt Water Spa Pool

The house has been updated. Great cozy kitchen with all needed appliances. Large fridge with great ice maker. Cozy couch/TV area. The bedrooms are nice size. Not all the outlets work in the bedrooms so challenge with night lights for reading. The mattresses are very soft; Too soft for me.
The bathroom is nice. The shower is outstanding. Lovely outdoor area for sitting. Rustic and artsy. Covered parking was great for our stay in August. Also, dipping pool a huge plus. Loved the garden and cactus!

The landscaping and pool/hot tub very relaxing in a quiet neighborhood! Uber drivers were always available in less than 10 min. Excellent restaurants, beautiful town and the people were very nice! Would definitely stay here again 🌵🌺

Enjoyed out stay especially the backyard

Too cold for us to use the outside much but this was a great location and a well-equipped house with a super responsive owner.

The property was clean great fenced in outdoor space with pool.
Location was close to everything in city including restaurants, Tucson Museum of Art. I was in town for wedding and very happy with this property. Melissa the property owner was also excellent and responded quickly to questions I had. They allowed my dog and that was a big plus. The property is not a new build it is eclectic old Tucson charm. The kitchen is well equipped if you choose to cook. I ate out at several great Tucson restaurants
I recommend this property

The owners were great to work with! When we needed to get in touch, they were available. The adobe house was perfect with a lot of character. The back yard was amazing. The Spa/pool was used daily and nightly. We could not have been happier spending 17 nights in Tucson. We will be back in Tucson many more times and hope Dunbar Springs is available. Thank you both for making this trip, great!

Always a fun place. We'll be back. Close to 4th Avenue. And our kids live close by.

Lovely little cottage and a fantastic yard with a pool. We spent most of our time outside.

It was clean and cute. But the noise from the train being so severe needs to be noted.

We stayed for a full week- enjoying everything that the Tucson area had to offer. The home was cozy and charming. The backyard was spacious and pretty- we didn’t use too much because it was unseasonably cold. But we used the spa pool after a day of rock climbing. The spa is a great feature - so much better than a hot tub! Owner was super responsive. Some decent restaurants walking distance (la Indita) and a small live theater (rogue theater - loved it)! We unreservedly recommend.

This was a wonderful stay in Tucson. Everything was close by and we loved the cactus gardens and cozy casa. Highly recommend a stay here.

House is small, but great for two people. Nice back yard, small hot tub in back which was great. hosts were very responsive and great to deal with. Location is very close to everything, less than 5 minutes drive to the things we wanted to see and visit in downtown area. Only minus is that it is near train tracks and the freight train whistle can be hear multiple times in the evening but not a big deal for us. Also neighbor (not sure which one) lets their dog out very early in the AM and this thing barks for hours starting at like 6am all the way until around 9am, not sure how this dog can keep it up and how this owner is this inconsiderate towards his/her neighbors but these are the only two minor complaints and really have nothing to do with hosts or property amenities. Overall i would stay here again.

This is a cute little house with a little back garden and a tiny, very pretty fenced-in pool. The place has got lots of character and is well equipped. The lighting is a bit problematic for people who like to sit around and read, the walls are very dark except in the kitchen. The bedrooms are comfortable and attractive through. Unfortunately we experienced an invasion of flies while we were there, presumably due to the extreme heat outdoors, and spent a lot of time swatting them and feeding them to the spiders and lizard who hang out on the front porch. All in all, though, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you to Melissa for her support.

Lovely home, comfortable bedding, clean and well stocked, what more could you ask for. Backyard and spa/pool were great. We would stay here again. We felt very welcomed.

Close to downtown and the University
We really enjoyed our time at the property. We got used to the trains quickly, earplugs at night helped. The spa/pool was fabulous, after bike rides and hiking. We'll be back.

Great spring break trip!
Truly enjoyed our time in Tucson and this property. Owners were very responsive and communicated well prior to and during trip. The house accommodated our family of five well and the backyard, plus pool/spa, provided a wonderful space for relaxing. Yes, trains play a part in the overall experience but were not anything that detracted from our enjoyment. Spent Easter dinner out on the covered porch in backyard and grilled steaks on the grill. Great time and would book this property again (perhaps even this fall) ;)

Perfect Spring Getaway Location
We loved the little house and beautiful outdoor area. We came down for hiking and exploring the parks and couldn’t have picked a better place. We were centrally located with easy access to all the parks. The spa pool was perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. The kitchen was great and allowed us to create picnic lunches or quiet dinners in, eating under the twinkling lights. And our dog loved the gated yard! I’m hoping to be back soon.

Very cute
Wonderful backyard! We enjoyed the great spa on a January night with heater. Traintracks are 1 block away and whistle woke my husband up during the night. But the comfy beds, backyard oasis and overall charm made up for interrupted sleep.

Trendy Adobe
We moved our stay in Tucson and loved how close the house was to everything. The train was loud at times but you got used to it. The house was equipped with everything you need, the shower was super nice with 3 shower heads. The beds comfy, the back yard was a little paradise to relax in. The pool was nice to relax or turn up the heat to use as a hot tub which my husband enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again, our little dogs even loved it.

Perfect Tucson retreat
We just enjoyed a fabulous long weekend at this charming, vintage home. We are former Tucson residents and chose this house for its location - the neighborhood is well known for its creativity and commitment to building a sustainable and close community. This house is very close to the community garden and many artistic homes that are a pleasure to see.
This home is also walking distance to many of Tucson’s best restaurants and entertainment. It’s a 10-minute walk to the famous El Charro, a 15-minute walk to the 4th Avenue business and entertainment district, and 20 minutes to all the action on Congress Street downtown. It’s also just a 10 minute walk to Anita Street Market, home to some of the best tortillas and burritos in Tucson, and a 3-minute walk to Zinman’s, a charming neighborhood vegan eatery and food shop.
The house is a true treasure. It’s a truly authentic Tucson home that is cozy and full of charming, creative flourishes. We enjoyed looking at the art work and admiring the home’s features. While historic, it also has a modern kitchen and bathroom. The whole house is exceptionally well appointed so we had everything we needed during our stay.
The garden was our favorite part - it’s truly an oasis. We used the pool every day - it was great to have a pool after exploring town on foot. The seating areas were perfect - we enjoyed watching birds in the fountain and lit tiki torches at night which created a lovely atmosphere. There is also a large grill and table on the patio so you can enjoy dining al fresco.
As other reviewers pointed out, the house is close to the train tracks. We were a little worried about the noise, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The house has very thick walls and while you can hear the trains, the sounds are muffled when you are indoors. Trains are part of the fabric and charm of downtown Tucson, so for us, they just added to the nostalgic experience.
Melissa was responsive and helpful throughout our stay - we appreciated the proactive communication and loved the information book inside the home. Melissa and Judy are truly thoughtful and gracious hosts.
We were sad to leave this beautiful home when our trip came to an end - we really enjoyed this charming oasis and hope to return again soon.

most charming adobe cottage!
We loved staying here and are hoping to come back next year. The yard is just lovely, a private sanctuary with a plunge pool. The house is sweet and charming. Beds comfortable, everything homey and comfortable! You should love trains (and train whistles) and birds, since they're frequently heard. The train whistles didn't stop us from sleeping, and we do love trains and happy birds, so we were good with that.
The location, in the historic (and very cool) Dunbar Spring neightborhood, can't be beat. We biked most everywhere from the cottage. Mount Tumamoc is a short bikeride or drive away, and a great way to begin or end your day.
We had a hard time leaving, truth be told, and hope to be back.
Melissa was helpful and lowkey and made everything easy.

Charming and convenient
The Dunbar springs home is a charming vintage home in a beautiful neighborhood conveniently located to downtown and the U of a campus as well as access to the interstate.
The yard is an oasis after a long day of hiking and exploring the region my family of six was very comfortable and enjoy the home tremendously

This is our second time staying at this location. The pool is great. The house is comfortable and inviting. Plus it’s in a convenient location.

Most gracious host
Melissa is very willing to help with any questions or problems. Very much appreciated her kindness.
The train was loud and we could hear it in the house, day and night. That was one of the only drawbacks.
New pillows would be helpful.
A quaint little house which was well stocked.

Cozy home with great location
We had a great stay! We enjoyed coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening in the awesome backyard. The home had many great amenities and the hosts made sure we were well taken care of. The location was perfect for us as it is close to the University. Thank you for the hospitality!!

Wonderful stay!
It has been a wonderful experience in this home. Have spent 3 nights enjoying watching the birds and lounging in the pool/spa. (You can hardly hear the trains while inside.) Everything you possibly need is provided. It has been a great stay and would indeed recommend staying here. Thank you!

Clean & convenient with historic charm
We stayed here for a week while we looked for an apartment for one of our kids who transferred in from U of HI. The house is as it appears in the photographs or better. The bedding is comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and well equipped. The garden at the back of the house is beautiful and there are a lot of outdoor sitting areas. We were there in July and really appreciated the numerous shade structures. The pool is clean and well done. The instructions for the pool controls are well thought out and easy to use. Melissa communicates effectively and promptly. The train that some people complain about didn't really bother us. It's here and then gone 15 seconds later....really no different than any town in Europe. You can't really hear it in the house. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great house, backyard and pool/spa
We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable, the patio and backyard beautiful. The pool/spa relaxing. Our fur babies had a great time roaming the backyard and lazing on the patio. Close to great restaurants. Train was a distraction to being able to relax at times.

Perfect house and backyard to celebrate graduation
The house is so darn cute!! The bathroom is spectacular!! The backyard and pool area is a wonderful oasis! We had an amazing time this weekend with family in town to celebrate UofA graduation. This was the perfect gathering place for all of us. Thanks for helping make this weekend awesome!!

Great property!
Property was as described. It looks as good as the pictures. No surprises. The backyard was perfect place to chill out. We would stay again. The train issue others complained about was only a minor issue versus the convenience and location to UofA,downtown and ease of access to I-10 and did not effect the ability to get a good nights sleep.
