We had a great stay at Tuck’t in Back. It’s the cutest apartment above a garage with an awesome porch. Inside is incredibly well equipped, with anything you should need. And the hosts make it very clear that they are available if you need to borrow anything from the main house. The outdoor shower is simply picturesque and a lovely feature. Had the pleasure of meeting our host on the way out! Would love to stay again!

Beautiful, cozy place to stay for 5 days on our first visit to Nantucket . Quick walk to town and easy access to WAVE bus made it easy to explore different parts of the island . The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming. Would definitely return again , and highly recommend to anyone looking for a homelike alternative to a hotel room !

Jeff and David were beyond incredible hosts. They were hospitable and so accommodating with allowing us to store our bags pre and post check-in and also provided amazing resources and recommendations. The space was very comfortable, clean, and private. I felt at home and am 1000% returning!

My mom and I chose Nantucket for a mother/daughter weekend getaway and I could not be happier I chose Tuck’t in Back for our accommodations. Everything from the amenities to the location to the attentiveness from the owners was absolutely a 10/10. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Tuck’t in the Back cottage. The check in process was seamless and the cottage was immaculate. It had everything we could need for our long weekend and the bed was very comfortable. We really appreciate Jeffrey and David’s helpful guides and info to explore Nantucket. The resources provided and attention to detail were top notch. The location was great - only a short walk to town. For times we explored other neighborhoods on the island, having our own parking spot to return to was a great convenience throughout the weekend. We look forward to returning in the future!

We loved our weekend at this perfect Nantucket studio. The Hosts were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The apartment had everything we needed, and more. It was exactly as pictured and very clean. We will definitely rent this again in the future!

Tuck’t in Back is the perfect place to stay for a couple. The location was perfect and we were able to ride our bikes or walk everywhere we wanted to go. The cottage itself was extremely clean and comfortable. We especially loved the outdoor shower and the central air! Jeffrey and David had the cottage stocked with everything we could have possibly needed (beach chairs, towels, laundry detergent, etc.). We highly recommend Tuck’t in Back for your next trip and to Nantucket and we hope to visit again soon!

Honestly, the photos don't do this property justice. The owners put a lot of detail and thought into your stay and what you may need. From the little maps they leave, to the shampoo at the outdoor shower, the binder of things to do, this may be one of the best rental experiences we've ever had. Also their entire property is simply stunning and a true epitome of a Nantucket experience. Very walkable and scenic street to downtown, easy uber access, etc. They were very accommodating checking in on us, to letting us check in early, etc.,

We had a wonderful stay in a private place with everything we needed and wanted. The deck was great for morning coffee while listening to the birds and seeing all the beautiful flowers and vegetation.

Very clean property within walking distance to downtown. Easy check-in, great communication, parking, comfortable bed, and very efficient kitchen. Loved staying here and would recommend to anyone wanting a space in town.

Very clean and well stocked with necessities. Check in and out super easy. Jeffrey was very responsive! The location is a 15 minute walk to town and about an 8 min walk to the grocery store and a few restaurants.

Loved everything! Perfect location in a quaint neighborhood away from downtown but an easy walk to downtown for shopping and dining, close to Wave bus stops, convenience store and grocery. The king bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom has a great job shower, and the cottage has everything you would need. Love that we can borrow beach chairs and umbrellas so I didn’t have to worry about packing and lugging onto the ferry since I didn’t bring a car. Perfect spot for a solo traveler or two people. Great communication with the hosts, will be back!

The location can’t be beat. We especially enjoy walking to dinner and riding on the near by bike paths. We have stayed here several times and always find it to be comfortable and spotless.

Everything was just as advertised. A very comfortable little studio. For me, the location was perfect because I like to walk everywhere but like to be far enough from things to get a good walk in wherever I go. Don’t like to be in the center of activity.

Jeffrey’s cottage was such a cozy and quiet little getaway in Nantucket! The king bed was amazing, and we both slept great! The location is the best!

This is an immaculately clean and private studio in a great location. It's on a quiet street that's easily walkable into the heart of town. The bed (and bedding) is very comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. There is plenty of closet space, hangers, and drawers for clothing. The balcony is a nice bonus. The owners were immediately responsive to any questions we had and accommodated our scooter rental. We would definitely stay here again! (My only suggestion would be the addition of a full length mirror.)

Clean and property manager in constant contact to answer questions both on unit; what to do in town; places to eat etc. They have details everywhere on how to manage and operate everything and where things are located - highly recommend and looking forward to returning one day!

Room was well appointed and very clean with all amenities including coffee maker, microwave, downstairs washer/dryer, etc. Hosts were very accommodating although we didn’t need much. It’s tricky getting luggage from street to back cottage due to pebbled driveway but Jeffrey was nice to carry (extremely heavy) bag for me up to the cottage when I first arrived. I would suggest everyone read the guest manual hosts have thoughtfully prepared as it gives specifics about the cottage regarding trash, recycling, etc. The excellent stacked washer/dryer unit has specific notes, which I appreciated. Room had coffee/tea stocked and stop-n-shop nearby filled the bill for extra groceries. We were fortunate to have a car for the week and the appointed off-street parking spot was perfect. Daughter walked home from center of town several times and stated it took her 10-15 minutes max. Personally, I prefer this location to the “tourist” area. The outside shower is an added perk and worth a try. Very isolated and peaceful and helpful when two people need to shower. Another bonus for morning coffee or late afternoon sunsets is to sit out on the balcony. It is very quiet and “tucked back.”The property is professionally landscaped and the gardens/flower boxes are beautiful. The hosts had fresh flowers in the cottage when we arrived. As a gardener myself, I loved this touch. Just a thought. Air fresheners can be overwhelming and really don’t mask odors. Imho I would only use when you don’t have inhabitants in the space for an extended period of time. Another reviewer suggested new bed pillows. I agree this little touch would make a world of difference in your guests’ sleep and would be an added bonus!Thank you both for hosting us. Lisa and Caroline
