We decided to take a quick trip to the Outer Banks over spring break weekend. The house was perfect for our stay. We really enjoyed staying there. It was perfect for our family of 4. Plenty of room for everyone.

Jennie was fantastic with communication & property updates. She also provided local information & recommendations. The house & property are accurately described. The house is clean, well stocked, convenient location, comfortable & quiet. Highly recommended!

This space was perfect for our group of 8 + pets. It was well appointed and situated in a quiet neighborhood within a few minutes walk of the sound. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets to snuggle under on the unexpected chilly nights. We cooked a couple of big meals and had everything we needed, although a few large bowls and leftover containers would have been helpful. Sound does travel when others are moving around, so bring some white noise if you’re a late sleeper.The bathrooms were roomy enough for our needs and there were plenty of towels, although no washcloths so I had to run out and buy some…but that was no biggie. The laundry facilities were super accessible and handy and the fenced in deck and backyard kept our fur babies safe. We will likely book again for next year. Can’t wait to return!

Staying her was enjoyable, economical, and worked well for our short family trip. One drawback is that we found the beds very noisy and squeaky, which was unexpected and unpleasant. The rest of the site was fine.

Comfortable and well appointed home. Easy access to dining and shopping. Looking forward to returning.

even though it was a rainy weekend: the cottage was so nice and cozy, i sat on the balcony and enjoyed the breeze. i needed quite and relaxation and that is what I got. Thank you to the great experience.

Great house for a long weekend for our family of 3 plus a fur baby! My 10 year old bookworm went gaga for the full shelf of books available! House was clean and had everything we needed!

Enjoyed time with our family at OBX area. Very convenient distance to all that we wanted to visit and close to our friends and family living at OBX area. House pretty clean and in quiet neighborhood, close to bay area, nice to go for a walk around. House has nice kids bedroom with some toys for them. However would be nice some instruction how to switch Cable TV however I was glad we didnt figure this out since we spend time together without electronic :). Could be nice maybe have some sugar and little milk or creamer or teabags at least to be able to make coffee first thing in the morning but nearby store covered this. Overall thank you that we could stay for few nights.

We rented this home for 5 days. We had our daughter, son-in-law and grands come for Christmas breakfast at Henry's and then we came back to the house and opened gifts. I had even put up a tabletop tree. They left after our time together. The house is cute. Bedding was clean & fresh, bathrooms were clean, floors vacummed, many utensils and pots & pans were greasy/sticky, we had to wash everything before using. Grilling tools hanging by back door look like they never got washed after their last use, nasty. Livingroom was dusty, fireplace did not work. I dusted and wiped countertops with Clorox wipes. Hall and one kitchen light bulb blew out and my husband went to Ace and bought new ones and installed them. House is very dark at night. Cheap bulbs/lighting. It is nice there is no cleaning fee, but they ask folks to clean behind themselves (which we did), but understand not everyone does. Great place to stay but you might need to clean when you get there and before you leave. Bring a flashlight!

Great location, convenient to both beach and sound (and walking distance to Kitty Hawk Bay). Home has plenty of space, tons of movies, books and games, and a great fenced porch / backyard setup! Friendly and responsive host. Thank you!

We had the amazing vacation and injoyed our stay in this house!

The property was clean, the owner responded to emails quickly and she had everything we needed. Our dogs loved the back porch and the neighbors are very friendly. We will for sure be back. We loved it. Thank you for allowing us in your home.

Our stay at Jennifer‘s Kill Devil Hills property was wonderful! The house was bigger than I thought it would be, close to everything, and came with everything! When I say everything, I mean it! They had whatever you needed for your home away from home. Every single kitchen appliance (large and small), utensils, an outdoor gas stove, a charcoal stove, an outdoor shower, and shaded covered parking! If you forgot anything, they had it! When we woke up memorial day, the AC was not working. We text Jennifer and within minutes they were there to fix it. We appreciate Jennifer and her family for taking time away from their holiday to fix the air conditioner. All was well the remainder of our stay. Proximity to everything, especially the Wright brothers museum was great. I would highly recommend this home to anyone for their vacation needs!

This cottage is older but not in bad shape at all. New kitchen counter tops and a good working layout. I cooked dinner twice and breakfast three times. The choice of charcoal grill or gas grill was nice.

Everything was great with our stay… the only issue was that our trip wasn’t long enough… i could have stayed another week… perfect spot for a relaxing week…;)

Home was close to everything. No issues at all.

House was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We loved the location to the bicycle/walking trails. You can ride for miles without worrying about traffic. Although the public access for the beach was close, the house is located on the sound side and there is no safe way to cross the 4-lane highway to get to the beach. The neighborhood was friendly and I felt safe venturing out alone. I would definitely stay here again!!

Property was immaculate. Check in/ out seamless. Home had everything you could need and more. Ouiet neighborhood, close to free beach ,free parking and not crowded. Hated to leave and hope to come back.

We had an amazing time, turns out we were there during “Bike Week 2022” Everything at the property was great!!! We will return!!! Highly recommended to EVERYONE!!!

We loved our stay! The photos and description were accurate. The home was clean and well equipped. We were asked to perform light cleaning before leaving which was easy to accomplish and all the supplies were available to use. Our host was quick to reply with questions. Good value for the price. Would recommend!

Great place to stay while in the outer banks + great location!

Excellent home for our family, even better than expected from the photos. Great driveway and yard for playing outside, comfortable furniture, updated kitchen, good quiet neighborhood, perfect location for walking to Bay Drive’s soundside bike path. Short drivd to beach accesses and great local restaurants. Our kids loved the bookshelf and playhouse and the kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes and cookware we could need. Good setup for familes with kids and dogs. The thermostat broke one night and the owner arrived within 30 minutes of my message to notify them, in half the time. We are regulars to OBX and have rented several places over the years. This was by far one of the most comfortable, would definitely come back again!
