Harry's House - Just 3 blocks from Lake Michigan!

La deuxième chambre a un lit et une commode queen size.
La troisième chambre a été conçue pour un maximum de 4 enfants. Il a un lit double / full superposé ainsi comme un jumeau gigogne roll-out.
La cuisine a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer un repas, y compris pots et des casseroles, cuisinière, réfrigérateur, micro-ondes, grille-pain, lave-vaisselle, et les paramètres de table pour 8. Un compteur de table hauteur accueillir 4. La salle à manger a une table qui peut accueillir 6-8.

We loved Harry's House. It was so close to the beach and downtown. Our adult family of six had plenty of space. The sun room was our go to place for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. We hope to visit again!

This is a clean, comfortable, well-stocked home with a mid-century vibe. The location is great: walk to the beach or town. The only thing missing is a comfortable hang-out area outside (maybe a bonfire pit or chairs on the front porch or a patio area in the backyard).

Our family enjoyed our stay at Harry’s house. House was clean and cute! We loved the fresh flowers on the dining table! We liked that we were in walking distance to the beach and town. Not even a bad walk with kids. The owners were helpful and friendly.

We had the nicest time staying at this house. It's spacious, clean and in a very safe area. A very small walk to the beach and you have the best view of Lake M.
The only con is the bathrooms are small and there is no hose outside to wash off the sand from the beach. We are booking again for next year!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Harry's House. The home is older with lots of vintage charm. It was very comfortable and the systems are all up-to-date. It was like staying at home, but near the beach, lots of attractions, and wonderful restaurants. We hope to return in the future.

We spent two weeks at Harry’s House and cannot say enough about the property. It is a great location for easy access to the park, beach and downtown. Property has a nice backyard and a picnic table for outdoor dining. We also loved spending time in the screened porch area.

We had a wonderful stay at Harry's House! It was very clean, the beds are very comfortable, the house was stocked with everything we needed! The location is perfect! 5 minutes to town, walking/biking distance to the Kids Corner and the beach! We loved our stay and will be back!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family of four. It was in a good location. We loved the back yard and appreciated we were able to use the garage to store our bikes. We loved south haven and will definitely be back!

Pretty good
It is a lovely place, but the apartment smelled a little when We came in, but it aired out. Good kitchen equipment. Good beds and linen. Lots of towels and toilet paper. Two toilets. Very lovely veranda. Close to beach and downtown.
It would help to have more lite in bedrooms. All in all, it was a good experience.

Everything we needed and so close to Kids' Corner and the beach!
Lovely, comfy, quiet. We had everything we needed in the exact area we wanted to stay in. Beach toys, chairs, lawn chairs, grill, coffeemaker, microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer...all of the things that we look for in our SH rentals. Owner/s were accessible if needed, as well. Jennifer introduced herself and said if we need anything to let her know (she lives next door). A few things to note: the washer and dryer are in the master bedroom which didn't bother us, but might bother others if they are doing laundry in the evening and going to bed at the same time. We had a small ant problem on the kitchen counter towards the end of our stay, but we immediately put out traps and they disappeared. There was a musty smell to the house when we arrived, but we did adjust to it. The house is quaint and older, and we have experienced the same odor in other rentals. I think it's hard to control. :( We adored the sunroom so much, definitely our favorite room! We also cozied up in the living room for family movie night. The kids loved the bunk and trundle bed! We loved the flowers from the garden on the dining room table at our arrival. There are black raspberry bushes and a beautiful garden surrounding the house! We were also touched by the pictures of Harry, documenting the house and former owner and the changes to the house over time. A very unique and appreciated touch! Great stay!

Grandpa’s Cozy Cottage
Great location for walking to park, beach, and downtown. Kitchen well stocked with basic utensils, kids dishes, and great pans & baking sheets. Wonderful 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath on one level; loved the clothesline for drying beach towels & suits.
We wish: there were room darkening curtains and fan in kids bunk room, more 3 prong outlets, and outlet covers on those accessible.

A quiet getaway
We had a great "off-season" stay. Within a few blocks of South Beach and downtown both. Kitchen and bathrooms were super-clean and well-stocked, making it unnecessary to pack a lot beforehand.

South Haven cottage
Good location, very clean, comfortable bedding, nice property original 50's interior. If several adults the one full bath bath is very small. Another small half bath accessed off master bedroom. Enclosed porch a plus, garage had chairs, grill and we were able to store our bikes. We did not cook but kitchen appeared well stocked.

Perfect accommodations
We planned this as a last minute getaway and we were very pleased with the home and accommodations. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The garage was perfect for storing our bikes and helmets. The gas grill was a welcome addition so we could cook out. The board games were a hit with our kids as were the bunk beds! It was a short walk to an amazing playground where we went several times a day. The beach was a mere three blocks away. I cannot recommend this home enough and we will definitely be visiting again!

Second visit to Southaven
This home was the perfect size for our family of 6! It reminds me so much of the home my husband grew up in & his grandparents home (which was just recently sold). The home has great bones & we loved the back room where we hung out as a family & watched movies late at night after the littles went to sleep. It felt very well maintained & the washer & dryer were very efficient! I think we did a dozen loads just this week. Location is close to the beach, town & the Catholic Church too👍 We had a wonderful stay & would highly recommend 😊

A perfect place to stay for a weekend in South Haven
My husband and I stayed here with our one year old for three nights; the home is exactly as described. We loved that it was walking distance to downtown, the beach, and a park with a beautiful playground. One of the nights my brother and sister in law stayed with us as well, and this house comfortably accommodated all of us. We would book this place again for our next visit.

Summer Getaway
We loved our two weeks at Harry's House. The location is walking distance to the beach and downtown. It has everything our family needed for an enjoyable vacation and reminds me of the house my grandparents built. Looking forward to visiting again next year!

Labor Day Weekend at Harry's House
Our family of 6 had an enjoyable time at Harry's House for Labor Day weekend. Everything we needed was there or quickly available. We appreciated the little touches such as fresh flowers and all the games for the cool mornings. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived and we were even greeted when we drove up. Absolutely Lovely
This property was wonderful! The home was very clean and cozy and had plenty of space. Just a short walk to a more private part of South Beach and a three-minute drive to the downtown. 9 minutes away from a blueberry farm and the host even lent me her pie tin. Overall the perfect getaway. :)

Lovely house
It is a lovely house located in a very quiet neighborhood. Close to the beach, 5 min walk, and to the downtown. House was very clean. No problems with checking in. The management is very friendly and responsive. Our stay was very enjoyable.

Fair at best.
The house was clean but has had nothing done to it in decades. Smallest bathrooms I have ever seen. Yard really disappointing! Overgrown bushes. No patio, deck or table etc To go in yard. Side door of house has no lock. Small screen porch we couldn’t use because so hot and furniture in it was so uncomfortable to even sit there for awhile. The nice thing was the location-3 blocks to lake and 1 blk to the bike trail which we used.

Great girls getaway!
My sisters/girlfriends try to get away once every year to reconnect, shop, eat and taste yummy wine. Harry's house was the perfect place for all of this to happen. It was easy to find, clean and comfortable. We could easily walk to the beach, or walk downtown to shop at the quaint shops and enjoy good food and drink. The neighborhood was safe, friendly and quiet. We did not cook much (our choice) but the kitchen appeared to be well equipped for doing so. We did spend much time simply sitting around the living room and the screened in porch enjoying our own conversations and games. Robert and Jennifer , the caretakers, gave us lots of information and I'm sure they would have been responsive if we had needed anything. The prior communication was so good that we needed very little other input. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Great place to stay!
This is a great house to stay in for those 4 months to 74 years (our family)! Excellent location within walking distance to park, beach and downtown. Very well maintained and equipped to make your stay very comfortable. Very nice sunporch, comfortable beds, and very clean! Would highly recommend!

Check in was a mess. But, the rest was good.
They forgot to reset the front door code. We got to the property super late and the code they gave me wouldn’t work. I called property owners and managers and no answer. We finally gained access through a window. They finally contacted me back the next day at 1030a. They reset the code and it was fine. Not sure what we would have done if we couldn’t get in the window.
After the check in mess the rest of the stay was fine. The house was clean. Location was okay. I felt safe.

Exceptional!
