Vous pouvez vous asseoir sur le pont avant et regarder les enfants jouer. 2 pâtés de maisons du centre-ville d'Elk Rapids. Marchez jusqu'au cinéma de la ville, dîner et pub local. Apportez vos kayaks et planches de paddle et vous pouvez les lancer directement à la plage! Traverse City est à 20 minutes en voiture. Il y a un casino à 15 minutes et les dunes de sable des ours sont à seulement 45 minutes! Mackinac Island est un super voyage d'une journée et est seulement 1. 5 heures de route. Emplacement idéal pour toute escapade ~ vacances en famille ou voyages entre filles! La maison a été récemment rénovée, peinture fraîche, nouveaux sols, matelas et linge de maison. Le Festival équestre des Grands Lacs n’est que de 8,9 km. Parfait escapade de ski en hiver! Mt. Les vacances sont à 15 minutes, Shush / Shanty Creek à 30 minutes et Boyne à moins d’une heure!

Great place to stay. I can’t say enough about the host Miriah. She was so helpful and available to answer any questions. The house was clean and cozy and decorated adorable! I would definitely recommend staying here! I think the summer would be awesome as we stayed in the middle of a blizzard but still had a great experience! The view of the bay is right out the front window! Great location close to everything we love in Elk Rapids!

Really enjoyed the park and beach. Dog friendly area and pleasant neighborhood. Good restaurants for dinner nearby. One small bathroom might be a challenge if more than 2 people are staying here but it was fine for the 2 of us.Well stocked kitchen was much appreciated.

We totally enjoyed our time at your beach cottage. It was clean, adorable, roomy and well stocked with everything we would need. Communication with the owner was very prompt and easy. On top of everything we were able to bring our dog which doesn't happen often. Elk Rapids is the sweetest small vacation town. Thank You

I cant say enough about this Gem! We drove from Chicago to Elk Rapids (only a 5 hour easy drive) and Miriah the host was/is amazing. She let us check-in early and check out late, the process was so easy ! She gave us so many great recommendations on food, drinks, activities and area favorites. First the location is AMAZING, the beach is right across the street and walking distance to downtown. Downtown Elk Rapids is great - great shops, restaurants and bars even a great donut/coffee shop! Only 25 mins to Traverse City and 20 mins to Torch Lake. The house itself is immaculate and can accommodate many guests (lots of rooms) + Dog Friendly too. The Living room was my favorite with the bay window that looks out at the water just so relaxing. Thank you for an amazing 4 day weekend. We will be back this summer!

Had a great time in Elk Rapids. Miriah gave us lots of tips on places to eat and things to do. Just a short drive to so many interesting places. Town is very dog friendly and our Sadie loved it. Neighbors are very nice and friendly. Can't wait to visit again!

Perfect spot to enjoy the quaint town of Elk Rapids with views of east bay right outside the front window. Truly a hidden gem! Miriah was a great host - excellent communication and very quick to respond. The house was very clean and the main living area and kitchen provided a large space for my family to spend time together. Plenty of beds and sleeping space with one full bathroom. It's a quick walk into downtown Elk Rapids to enjoy the shops and restaurants. Many other great restaurants, breweries and wineries in the surrounding area. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location in a quaint town and just what we needed to relax! It was like a home away from home with an amazing view and peaceful setting. Hostess was very helpful and quick to respond with recommendations. I hope to return next year!

We could not be happier with the location of the home. We enjoyed going across the street to get to the beach, playground, volleyball, pickleball and tennis courts. We were also able to launch our kayak nearby. Walking to the bakery and ice cream shop were highlights. The home had everything we needed; plenty of beds, all the kitchen necessities and games for kids. A second bathroom would have been nice but we managed just fine. Thank you so much for sharing your beach home, our kids are asking to come back next year.

Beautiful cottage near the water.
This is a great place to stay. Near downtown. Everything is within walking distance. Property is well-maintained. And plenty of space to sleep the whole family. We can’t wait to book our next trip to this location.

Cute House in Elk Rapids, Michigan
This was a cute house with the perfect view of the beach, park, Lake Michigan. Can't beat the location just blocks from town where the are great shops and restaurants. Elk Rapids has a beautiful harbor too. We really enjoyed it and will rent it again!

Great stay!
We traveled to Elk Rapids with my sister and her family for a weekend get-away. What a wonderful time. The house was in a great location, close to everything! Communication with the property manager was excellent and every minor detail was thought of. The view from the living room window is incredible and we would love to come and enjoy the house when the weather is warmer. I highly recommend this property!

Great Lakeview Escape
Small yet spacious home that is warm cozy in the winter months. Our dog was especially felt it was roomy. There was no issues with the heat in the home compare to others we stayed in during the winter months. Well supplied house especially if needing kleenex or lysol. Town shuts down early so make sure you get you items for night before that. We will consider this property for use in the future and the host was very accommodating.

This was a great experience!
We normally have a place to stay coming back to our hometown area, but it was under construction. We have family in Elk Rapids and Traverse city. We wanted to rent a safe place to have a couple small gatherings for Christmas, on separate days, because of Covid, and also have private space for out 2 teenagers. We are not used too one bathroom with teenagers and guests, but we made it work!
Lots of neat things in just a small walk..
The park, beach, river, library, dinner, shopping and bars are all a very short beautiful walk.
The house had all the basic things you would love them to have. Kitchen literally had every basic thing to get started (except eggnog making spices;).. However-between supplies at the house, the local grocery store and gas station just a couple minutes away, we made homemade eggnog on Christmas Eve. Whole closet full of games, lots access to cleaning supplies and tools, soap for dishwasher, washer and dryer.
Would love to visit in warm weather and experience the outside part of this property- we did grill on Christmas eve and it was perfect, but would enjoy sitting on deck to people watch. We spent a lot of time sitting on the couch just enjoying the great view!!

Getaway at Elk Rapids
The home and village were very comfortable and it welcomed our 18 month old pup. Everything was easy walking distance and the area was beautiful. It was a great home base to explore other areas but at the end of the day we felt we are at home.

Family Fun in our favorite beach town
We had an absolutely lovely stay at Miriah's beach home. We cooked most of our meals in the well appointed kitchen and used the grill on the deck often. When we weren't cooking it was just a short walk to town with several restaurants to choose from. Miriah's communication was wonderful before and during our stay. We enjoyed the live music and appetizers at Cellar 152 in town. We had a great session of beach yoga through Elk Rapids Yoga Flow. It was just a wonderful vacation in a beautiful spot. The views of the sunset each evening from the front porch were my favorite. We hope to be back soon!

Best Vacation!
We had a fabulous time at Elk Rapids! The house was perfect, had everything we needed and had the best view. The playground and the beach across the street was the best! My granddaughters were always wanting to play on the playground and we could watch them from the swing on the front porch. Walking down the street to town to get dinner or ice-cream was great! Traverse City was an easy 15-20 minute drive and Torch Lake was close by as well. Elk Rapids was so friendly and quaint. Can't say enough about our wonderful stay!
Miriah, the owner, was great! She was always available to answer questions before and during our stay and couldn't be nicer. We can't wait to return next year!!

a relaxing trip
The property was very nice and had plenty of space for everyone to relax. The beach and playground are a perfect place for the kids to play without having to pack up and travel far from home. The downtown area was withing walking distance. Overall a very good trip. The only advice,, if you are allergic to dogs this is not the place for you. The sofas both were covered in dog hair and there was no doubt there were dogs there before us.

If you have kids you can let them go play and they’ll have hour of fun collecting rocks, playing tennis, basketball, or playing on the monkey bars and you can keep watch on them from home. It’s also just a very short quarter of a mile to the downtown area where there is tons more fun shops for kids and adults.
The property itself has well stocked kitchen not lacking for appliances, kitchen ware, or utensils. You could just buy your food for your stay and not need to leave.
The beds are soft and we all slept like champs and there’s a tv in every room of the house for entertainment. The only issue with the house is the bathroom. It’s awfully small. But you just get in do what you need to do and move on. The rest of the house and property more than makes up for its shortcomings. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back again soon!!

Best Views in All of Elk Rapids
Great home, very clean with everything you would need. It was only two of us, but there would have been plenty of room for additional visitors to both sleep and "hang out" while enjoying the beautiful views of the park and bay. The owner was great to deal with. We hope to be back soon.

March weekend
Location was unbeatable. We were a small group celebrating a birthday. Miriah’s was clean, had open space, lots of windows, a great view and tons of sleeping configurations/options which our 3yr old tried to take full advantage of.
