Village of Elk Rapids Walk to Beach
3 chambres 2 salles de bain ranch maison mise à jour avec terrasse / barbecue et clôturé dans la cour arrière. Ce quartier de l'extrémité sud se trouve à un pâté de maisons du parc Elk Rapids Day et est protégé par une zone naturelle. Le centre-ville côté port est à 1,6 km avec de superbes boutiques et restaurants de plages.
La maison a un sol en surface solide partout. Tous les nouveaux lits et un mobilier moderne.
La suite principale a un lit queen size, une salle de bain privée et une entrée patio.
La deuxième chambre est équipée d'un lit Full XL qui est plus étroit qu'un lit queen mais de la même longueur.
La petite chambre a deux lits jumeaux, l'un étant également XL.
Sur demande, un lit pliant en mousse à mémoire de forme peut également être mis à la disposition des personnes supplémentaires pour utiliser le salon comme espace de couchage.
Le quartier est très calme avec la possibilité d'entendre de nombreux beaux oiseaux chanteurs. Le parc de jour est un endroit idéal pour marcher et les sentiers sont adaptés aux chiens.
Les animaux ne vivent pas ici mais je vous invite à apporter des animaux bien élevés, ils ont aussi besoin de vacances. La plupart des terrasses de restaurants du côté ouest acceptent les animaux domestiques et il y a une grande plage de chiens sans laisse au sud de la ville.

Beautiful and comfortable. Host has provided all the things you would need and has gone above and beyond any place I have rented in the past. Keurig in the main Bedroom and amazing Ninja coffee maker in the kitchen with nice coffee provided for example.
Bikes, backpacks, all the beach stuff you need, games, first aid kit-I could go on and on.
Host is very generous, no check in or check out hassle.
We enjoyed our stay, the only dissapointment was having to leave.

Amazing!
Elk Rapids is a beautiful little town and this property is a great home base. It located in a quiet neighborhood, only steps across the street to a public beach with an awesome sculpture park to walk through. The house itself has everything you need and I especially appreciated the comfortable bedding. Would definitely stay again!

Great weekend
We had an amazing experience at the property. It was so quaint and beautiful. Beds were super comfy! Check in and out were super simple. Response time from the owner was very quick! Price was definitely worth it. 100% would stay there again!

Very nice home
The hoise was very nice and had all that was needed for a comfortable stay. It accomodated all 8 of us which was great. It was also close to Traverse City and other local attractions thus serving its purpose well.

September Visit
We had a very nice stay (4 nights). Property was clean and very well equipped with good appliances and everyday paper and kitchen supplies, etc. We use a walker to get around, and had no problem with access. We will probably book again in the future.

Family vacation
Very clean, cute and great location about 15 minutes from Traverse city. We enjoyed the beach/park across the street and host was very accommodating. Power went out due to a storm and he was very responsive. Nice backyard for the dogs was a plus.

Great stay for families with everything we needed.
Our family enjoyed the layout and nice renovations of the home. Every bed was incredibly comfortable. All the items our family needed for cooking, beaching, laundry, and relaxing was available to us. We loved the recommendations of best beaches and checkin/checkout was painless and easy. A wonderful experience for family of 5.

Over-flow house
A very nice place for our use as an over-flow house for a family week in Elk Rapids. Our family out grew our long-time rental directly on the bay and this rental provided us the extra space we needed. The property manager was extremely responsive to any questions, etc. We all love Elk Rapids.

Summer stay
Excellent experience. The house was even better than the photos depicted. Very clean, rooms comfortable and cozy sheets. Plenty of sitting room. Backyard fenced in and was great for the dog. It’s a shame they will no longer be offering accommodations for dogs, it’s one of the best places we’ve stayed.
Very nice coffee maker and kitchen utensils. Grill in yard is large and clean. Bathrooms appear updated and lots of little amenities available.
Sculpture park and Lake Michigan access across the street. Downtown elk rapids is about 1 mile away, very nice small town with few restaurants and ice cream parlors. About 20 min drive to traverse city and 1 hour to sleeping bear dunes.
My family and I very much enjoyed our stay and absolutely recommend, especially for those who want easy access to TC and Sleeping Bear Dunes, while avoiding congestion/ over crowding with easy beach access.

Wedding Weekend
We had a great time at this cottage. Very updated. Extremely comfortable. Felt like a nice hotel. They thought of everything you would need. Very happy with the space. We stood up in a wedding and knew we had a nice play to go back to after the rehearsal and the wedding. I think it would be a great place to take a family too. Very close to town!

Elk Rapids Gem
We really enjoyed our stay. The property is very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay in elk rapids. Kenneth the owner was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. A short walk and we enjoyed the sculpture park and beach, downtown is awesome and is a coupleWe loved our stay and will definitely stay again when we come back to Elk Rapids.

Great location and updated, well-stocked home
This home is a great location with proximity to Grand Traverse Bay and downtown Elk Rapids. It's an easy walk to the sculpture park across the street with beach access along Grand Traverse Bay. Our two boys loved searching for rocks along the beach and playing on the playground. We also rode our bikes on neighborhood streets to get to downtown Elk Rapids - it's only about a 3-5 minute bike ride. The home was well-stocked with all of the essentials, was very clean, and recently updated. Would recommend checking out the TART trail starting in Acme, MI, as well as Short's Brewing Production Facility (about a 5-minute drive from the house). We would absolutely stay at this home in the future!

Perfect for beauty relaxation and refreshing one's heart and soul
Everything was so perfect, even the location. Great little quaint town.there was many shops restaurants and stores to choose from. Ken was there for everything we needed he was an amazing host.

Perfect UpNorth Getaway
The house is soooop clean and lovely! The pictures do the home absolutely no justice. This is definitely a gem. My family and I did not want to leave. Kenneth was such a nice and personable host. I don't even know him and love him!! Lol I have no reservations about this rental and can't wait to return!!! Thanks Kenneth for having us.

First time using vrbo and this owner made it great
I had never used vrbo before so I was a bit nervous but Kenneth made it all so easy. He put me at ease bringing my dog for a weekend getaway. Property looked just like it did in the pictures and was very clean. He had great communication and even gave me some great local recommendations. I hope to come back again for a longer visit.

January trip
My family and I loved our stay here. The home was updated and clean. Accommodating for our dogs as well. Plenty of space for every one. Our only hiccup was a delayed check in, however Kenneth did credit us and we were able to have a noon check out. Appreciated his professionalism and willingness to correct things. We enjoyed walking to the local park by the water and to downtown Elk Rapids. It was in close proximity to Traverse City as well which was great. We’d love to come back and stay here again.

We had an early Christmas dinner with mother in law. Great kitchen and accessories. Enjoyed the great TV and Netflix. Our Springer Spaniel felt right at home as well. Great bedroom and bathrooms. We made an excellent choice.

Over flow house
This property worked out well for us as a family over flow house from a bay-side cottage we rent each year. The house was small but attractive and clean and the owner communicated well with us.

Awesome place to stay!
We had a great time at Torch Lake and this was a very nice place to stay. Plenty of room for a bunch of us and 2 boats as well. The house was set up perfectly!

Updated and convenient location
We really enjoyed our time here! Great place with 2 full baths, washer and dryer, and a full kitchen with dishwasher and everything needed for making meals. Sculpture park with beach and picnic areas was walking distance away and very close to downtown Elk Rapids. We had 6 people and it was very comfortable for all of us. Kenneth was very good with communication and made sure everything went well for us. Highly recommended.

Up North Gem
We had an amazing stay in Elk Rapids. The house is located on a quiet street that backed-up to the beautiful Day Park & Traverse Bay.
It is wonderfully updated, very clean, well-decorated and completely stocked & prepared for renters (supplied with linens, towels, soap, kitchen appliances, beach chairs, etc.)
It is the perfect size for our family of four and our dog (who loved the fenced-in backyard). The beds and bathrooms are so comfortable and impressively updated.
The owner, Kenneth was so responsive and attentive throughout our short stay.
We loved taking walks over to the Day Park and beach each morning and evening. We missed heading over to the Twisted Fish Gallery down the street which I assume supplies all of the amazing artwork throughout the Day Park. We’ll be sure to stop in on our next visit.
Overall, I highly recommend this Up North gem because of its peaceful location, its beautiful updates, cleanliness, well-stocked pantry & supplies and the overall hospitality of its attentive owner.
Thank you very much for making our short vacation so enjoyable.

Great getaway.
The property was exactly as expected and very clean. We had everything we could have needed. We were grateful that we were able to bring our dogs with us as we did quite a bit of hiking and they had the best time. The property owner was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We will definitely be keeping this property in mind for the future.
