We were overcharged by the hotel $500 dollars because they said they found ash in the room on the desk. No one in our party smokes cigarettes and smoking was never done inside our room. They have yet to provide us photos of the "ash" they found and we were told by "Lucy" the hotel manager that the room had ne smell of smoke. We are in current dispute with our credit card company i hopes to have this unlawful charge overturned.

We stayed at this property for three nights in June. It is a very nice condo located in “The Atlantic” hotel. I have only positive things to say about our stay. This unit itself is top-notch. It is on the 14th floor facing out on the ocean and overlooking the pool (which is on the 5th floor). The ocean view is spectacular. It is an easy 5-minute trip from the room to the beach. The Atlantic is located in a prime location with many nice restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. We didn’t rent a car and we didn’t need one. This unit has two very comfortable queen beds, a nice sized TV, nice double sink vanity and a separate shower and tub. Everything was clean and well-maintained. There was also a closet full of beach toys, sun screen and other fun surprises.
The property is managed by the Atlantic Hotel. They handle check-in, and provide the services. If you book this property, know that you will pay a daily resort fee and a cleaning fee in addition to the VRBO costs, but this gets you all the resort amenities including pool and beach towels, beach chairs, pool access, fitness center facilities, bottled water, and more. The property owners were great to deal with and provided good communications throughout the process. In my opinion this property is an outstanding deal even with the resort fees, and we would definitely book it again.

Our room was spacious and very clean! The view from our balcony was exceptional! The pool and hot tub were perfect! Would highly recommend Mary & Gus’ place!!

We loved the accommodations! The view was spectacular. We saw the sun rise from our room each morning. The hotel in itself is very hospitable and the restaurant is delicious. We ate at least one brunch, dinner and breakfast. All of the staff were friendly. We will definitely come back and stay.

We had the nicest view and best location that I can honestly say. The coffee shops, and free rides, restaurants and Beech all in your view just ask yourself what do you want yo do. As long as i’ve been coming to Ft. Lauderdale this is nicer location than Marriot Harbor Beech Resort. We had the best time ever thank you

Beautiful place for a long weekend! Sun, ocean, pool all so close. Property owners were accommodating and it was nice having hotel amenities accessible. Would recommend and stay again!

This will be our go to spot moving forward. We have been to Ft Lauderdale 15 plus times and wish we found this property years ago. Centrally located amazing pool area spa was top notch. The room itself was great. The view was spectacular. This unit has a stove microwave and small refrigerator. We insta carted the first day which saved for breakfast and lunch.
The bar at staff at both areas were so accommodating
I highly recommended this and we are already looking to book again

The property was exactly as listed. It is conveniently located to many restaurant options. We did not rent a car as only being 15 minutes from airport. Ubers, taxi's and golf cart rides are available. It was nice to have a cooler in the closet to use at the beach.

Our stay in Mary and Gus's place was wonderful. The views were amazing. The efficiency was cleaned, and equipped with just about everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Mary and Gus were attentive and prompt to respond to our questions. The hotel staff was friendly and polite. The checkin/out process was smooth. Thank you Mary and Gus, we would love to come back soon again and stay at your wonderful place.

We had a great experience at this property. Mary and Gus were so helpful and excellent communicators with us. The room was very clean with nice amenities, the views were spectacular and great staff. The pool was a great place to cool off. Beach was across the street and very relaxing. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!

VRBO ad says “luxurious condo with balcony, kitchenette and dining are, with one bedroom and dining area, sleeps four. This is not what we got. We got a hotel room with no dining area; . No table; where are we supposed to eat? “ Condo” is very misleading. This pretends to sound like an apartment. This is simply one room with some kitchen appliances. We could have had the same room, next door for two hundred dollars less a night if we booked with the hotel instead of VRBO. Not a 5 star but a 4 star hotel. Room was very shabby; owner apologized and said he plans to renovate Great —for someone else.

Beautiful. Staff so friendly and helpful. Wild Thyme was delicious. We ate dinner one night. Steve was our server and was so charming and friendly. We ate brunch the next morning and Lynn was very sweet and delightful to chat with. I don’t know his name but the pool bartender is incredible! He handles everyone’s many drink orders and food orders and deliveries without skipping a beat and always with a smile on his face. The pool was nice though chillier than anticipated. The beach and how well it is run with beach loungers and towels adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The only slight negative (and it was slight) was that the trash barrel in the kitchen is much too small and the toilet would occasionally get stuck and run continuously until we fixed it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay immensely! Thank you!

Had a wonderful experience from start to finish! One thing we were disappointed with was being charged for the beach umbrella each day which was conflicting with the listing of services -it stated chairs and umbrella were included during our stay.

We stay each year at the Atlantic Beach Hotel and Spa for Thanksgiving.
First time at this hosts Unit. All in all the nicest views we have ever had., especially from your high balcony. Watch the surf and sand and people on the beach. Overlook the pool area. Was able to view large Skates swimming across the ocean with their wing type fins reaching up and out as they glide past.
All in all hotel staff we’re wonderful as always. Convenient parking on premises. Easy to Uber if desired.
Would definitely return and stay in this unit. Hosts were easy to deal with.

Great mini vacay
My family and I had to quickly rent a condo unexpectedly as other plans fell through and this place was amazing. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, check in and check out was smooth and easy. The restaurant in the hotel is reasonably priced and the food was amazing. The only issue I had was I didn't realize you need to cross A1A to get to the beach. Not a HUGE deal but it was a surprise. The traffic was never terrible but being with two little ones it was a bit nerve wrecking. But again not a factor to not stay again. I totally recommend!

All was as advertised though we did have a problem with getting hot water. Had to run all faucets at once and a V E R Y long time with the help of maintenance before getting hot water on the first day we were there. This continued to be an issue through the second day of our stay. That said, I would book this property again.
