We are easily able to drive our boat (V-drive) to the dock. However, the dock is at the end of a small creek, and I don't think I'd want to swim off this dock. You can get to the main lake in a minute or two, so the location is still fine for boating activities. Very cozy house. Well equipped.

My wife and I, along with my brother and his wife, just enjoyed a week of quiet relaxation at the lovely cottage house of Jeremie and Holly Lavrack. Tucked away at the end of a long, recessed cove on the shores of Lake Gaston, the cottage is situated in a quiet neighborhood where the only sounds heard were the occasional barking of a neighbor's dog and birds singing from every treetop! The ladies spent their time, resting, reading and kayaking on kayaks provided by the Lavracks. My brother and I spent our time fishing by boat and from the well-constructed dock just below the house. We were very successful fishing from the dock where we caught three large Blue Catfish, each weighing between 6 and 9 lbs.! Jeremie and Holly have a wonderful situation there on Lake Gaston. Their beautiful little cottage is spacious, comfortable and just perfect for one to two couples seeking a quiet getaway where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the work-a-day world and enjoy quiet serenity for a few days. Thank you Jeremie and Holly for allowing us the privilege to enjoy the beauty you've created on the shores of Lake Gaston.

House was very clean and comfortable. There's not much of a water view if that's what you're looking for, but we just wanted to be able to get our boat out to the main lake from the house, and that's very easy to do. The house is on a very short creek, and water depth seems to be 5+ feet everywhere I went, so no problem getting a V-drive to and from the dock to the main lake. We've already booked again for next year!

Just perfect for our family. Decor and amenities were nice. Loved the use of the two kayaks. Will definitely be staying again.

Everything met our expectations and the house/furniture was very comfortable. Felt completely safe and secure in this quiet well kept community. The only issue was one of the three TVs was not working correctly. Would recommend this property to friends and certainly book it again.

We had a wonderful vacation at the house! The house was very nice and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and store leftovers! We had a great time playing in the lake and fishing from the dock. We caught several catfish noodle fishing right in the cove including a 30 pound and a 25 pound! Loved spending time on the covered porch ( especially the one day we had rain)! Hope to spend another week there in the future! I would highly recommend it to anyone!!!

We loved our stay at this lakeside cottage. Perfect for our family of 5 and nana & pa. Our 19’ boat fit comfortably at the dock & the location was great- close to the boat ramp & marina. Cottage was very well appointed, clean & comfortable. Owners were very responsive & friendly. We would definitely visit again!

This is the second year we’ve rented this place. We love it. Great back porch and quiet cove to dock our boat. Everything was exactly as promised. We’ll be back!

My wife, 2 kids, and my parents stayed for a week. We had our 19’ boat and my dad brought his 19’ bass boat. There was space on both sides of the dock for each boat and the dock was a perfect size for us to enjoy all day and all evening. We fished every morning and late evening. In between we relaxed floating in the water, on the dock, or the back porch. That porch was perfect with the ceiling fans and seating for wonderful evenings hanging with the family. Everything was perfect, clean, and comfortable. We will definitely be back at least once next summer. We have been vacationing for a week at Lake Gaston for 5 years now..... a total of 7 week long trips. This has been our favorite house hands down. It is extremely quiet in the cove, very, very little watercraft traffic since it is located almost all the way at the back, and the neighbors we met were extremely friendly. We looked forward to our morning and evening conversations with them each day. The owners were easy to work with and as friendly as could could be. We will be coming back.

Clean, peaceful, and enjoyable. Great place to rest, fish, boat or just enjoy a rejuvenating vacation. So glad it was pet friendly. Our Yorkie enjoyed her vacation,too.

cute home with great water access. The Febreze was a problem for me as I have asthma. Basic tv which was disappointing as the town was closed down and there was not much to do. Great place for people who like to fish.

Extremely considerate owners have thought of everything. The beautiful cottage nestled in a quiet cove was immaculate. Everting labeled clearly, incredible layout for a small footprint and very tastefully decorated. The dock was perfect for our 19 ft Sea Pro and the covered back deck was the perfect place to enjoy the water view. Owners were very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. “Our Little Cottage” will always be our first choice when visiting beautiful Lake Gaston.

The house was perfect for us! Neighbor was friendly and offered any assistance if we needed anything! Water is a tad bit shallow if you have a bigger boat 22 ft or bigger just have to pay attention to water level! Definitely will be back!

My wife and another couple stayed for 10 days in October. Space was perfect for us. Great internet which allowed us all to work, awesome back patio and our little puppy enjoyed running in the grass. Would stay again!

This was the second time in less than 2 months we have stayed here since it is awesome. The owners are very responsive and have thought about just everything. The neighbors are nice and the back porch is amazing. The fishing is good, especially for younger children, and surroundings are beautiful. I would totally recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time. Very nice home right on the lake. Good water depth for jumping in at the end of the dock but not too deep. Very quite cove in a cove which made for a peaceful time.

We love staying at Holly and Jeremie's beautiful cottage each year! It is the perfect house for two families with children to share. We love that it takes almost no time to get to the main lake from the house. Cooking on the huge gas grill, enjoying happy hour on the breezy back porch and of course floating in the cove are a few of our favorite activities (outside of all of the watersports on the lake, of course!). Do not hesitate on this booking. It is truly awesome!

Awesome house with lots of amenities. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Can’t wait to go back. It was an added plus our small dog could vacation with us and enjoy the lake.

This was our second year in a row here at the little cabin and just like last year we had a fantastic time! The property is clean, the neighborhood is friendly and the neighbors are helpful. A great location and home for our family vacation. We rented a Pontoon Boat and the dock made it easy to dock. Accommodations were perfect and everything was in very good shape. Friendly neighbors and close to convenient and grocery stores. Owners were very responsive and ensured that we had all that we needed.

Holly and Jeremie were really great people to work with. They answered any questions quickly and worked with us if we need to change anything. We had a blast for the week we were there that we actually asked if we could stay an extra day because we weren’t ready to leave. It did rain a few days while we were there, but just being able to relax around the house was good enough for us. We didn’t get to use the kayaks or fire pit but would definitely like to do that the next time we stay. We also had some friends come up for a couple days and they really enjoyed their time too. The neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. You would be crazy not to book this place. Thank you again Holly & Jeremie!

This cottage was the perfect getaway for our family of 4. We had a relaxing 6 days and enjoyed kayaking, cornhole and family time! The cottage was perfect!

We stayed here for a family vacation and had a wonderful stay. The owners are very quick to respond to any questions you have and the cottage itself is very clean and very well stocked with things you need or want as a visitor from a well stocked kitchen to games to play at night or on a rainy day to kayaks to paddle around the lake! Beautiful view of the lake in a nice quiet culdesac. Nicely maintained dock for fishing or just sitting at the table enjoying the view. Storage shed at dock has a choice of life preservers, chairs to sit on at the dock, and even some fishing poles if you don't have one. Very nice vacation spot if you're looking for some quiet solitude.

Holly & Jeremie, Have gone over and beyond the extra mile with this lake house. I have never had the amenities they supply and offer their guests. We immediately felt relaxed. Everything we needed they provide. Fully equipped kitchen to say the least with spices, soap, full everything. I can not say enough about this rental. Location is perfect, neighbors were great, atmosphere, luxuries, and comfort couldn’t have been better. Thank you both for everything. We will return for sure if we get back that way.

Spent the week at this place and it was so calm and relaxing. My little girl and I played Texas Holdem Yahtzee more times than I can count and it was great. Beautiful little place!!
