this was easy to book with follow up emails. The home was perfect and very well cared for with a very high standard. Super clean with everything available that we required. The home had a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable couches and a comfortable bed downstairs. We never used upstairs at all. The shower was amazing and lovely and hot. The home was lovely to spend time in, and the patio was lovely to sit on watching the sun going down each night. A nice quiet street with little noise from afar streets. We also saw rabbits in the yard and a ground hog. we would definitely come back to stay in this home, it was perfect and the owners should be very proud.

Really enjoyed the stay. Very comfy beds. Loft area was a little smaller than expected. Otherwise listing was accurate. In more of a neighborhood setting but still has a great view.
Plenty of room for 6-8 adults.
Only improvements would be a larger kitchen trash can and would like the washer to be working next time. Grill worked well but probably needs a deep cleaning to cook evenly.

We had a delightful time in this rental, as the view of the Smokies was outstanding, and the accommodations well furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dinnerware, and all the bedrooms and bathrooms were well furnished.The rental is located on the side of a mountain - as our most of the rentals in this area - so be prepared for steep climbs up to the house. And, the greenery around the house has grown well above what is portrayed in the picture, so it impacts the view to some degree, but the front is wide open. We'd consider coming back there again.

This was a beautiful place to stay with scenic mountain vistas and a porch to enjoy them. It was spacious enough for our three couples. The location was very convenient to towns and mountain destinations. The sun rises and settings were colorful over the tree covered peaks when not blocked by the Smokey blue clouds for which the mountains are named. We loved the property from the start and had a great week staying there. It was the perfect getaway for our Mountain vacation. We'll definitely be going back.

Very nice home and it had everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The only reason for the 4 star is there is no trash pick up and you have to take your garbage with you when you leave. That is not good to have to pack garbage up with your luggage at check out. Also, if checking out on Sunday the garbage disposal locations are closed so you have to take it back home with you.

This property provided everything we needed and more for our week stay in Maggie Valley. It easily accommodated our family with all working facilities and a view. The fireplace was used every night and the location was as close to restaurants and not to long of a drive from Asheville or Catalahoochee Ski Resort. Will return next winter.

We love this property. Only negative was there was no access to local news or channels as everything is streaming - at times the streaming was very slow. Hubby could not watch football games - we had to go out to restaurants to see games.

I would recommend this property for anyone who is traveling with a group of 5-7 people. Plenty of board games, kitchen utensils and more seasonings that the heart could even desire. Loved our stay.

If you like the smell of mold/mildew and wet dog, this is your place. The house needs a deep cleaning. It's not a mountain house; it's in a subdivision of fake mountain houses. The TV never worked right; couldn't access any major channel or even Netflix. Property managers no help with this at all.
So many great properties in Maggie Valley, but this is one of the worst.

Overall it was good. Televisions not working upon arrival.Trash disposal very inconvenient. We had to buy an extension cord for the main TV. Allofthe other cabins we've rented at Christmas time in NC always had a Christmas tree and a few decorations in place which was always nice. The cabin was nice but I like to be a little more secluded. An outside fire pit is another thing we missed.

Carolina Legacy is a spacious and well appointed cabin. There was enough parking space for our truck, trailer and motorcycle. Be aware that the road in and the driveway are very steep. However the steep entrance allows for some beautiful views across the valley.

This is the second time we stayed at Carolina Legacy and again, loved our time here. The house has all amenities that you would need. It even has an outside gas BBQ grill. Most kitchen appliances have recently been replaced. The view from the front porch is terrific, overlooking the mountains to the West. The house is located in great proximity to the main part of town (Maggie Valley - about 5 minutes away). It is near a main road which you can't see from the house, but you can hear some traffic sounds, however it's not in any way intrusive. The only negative thing I can say is that the ice maker does not work, however there's plenty of room in the freezer for a bag of ice. We plan to stay in Carolina Legacy again next summer. We loved our stay here.

Cozy and perfect for your stay
It’s very easy to rent, communication is good leading up to your stay, not as many items are required as expected from the detail description (such as hand soap, dish washing detergent, and paper towels). It would be nice to have instructions for the coffee pot and to not have to haul off your garbage. Otherwise, it was a great stay! The house is cozy, has a nice patio, nice bedrooms, and place to hang out in the house!

Nice location close to highway and local stores however there was too much highway noise. If you want more seclusion then try a little further or higher in mountains. Property is nice and spacious though a bit old and can benefit from some updates. Appliances were all functional. Trash removal is a big hassle although there is city trash pick up but property doesn’t have its own dumpster and you have to take trash to a local off site dumpster.

A few issues to be aware of
The house was very clean. The view from the front deck is spectacular. Be aware that the wifi is weak. You won't be able to stream, and if you're trying to WFH, video calls can be iffy. That's to be expected in the mountains. The kitchen could use some updating and certainly needs better supplies. The knives were dangerously dull. Many windows have old miniblinds that don't work easily and could be an issue for small children.

A few minor suggestions: night lights were not working; motion detector was going on and off all night at about 30 second intervals, needs to be checked, as this is very annoying for the people upstairs.
