The property is older but very clean and close to everything. You can hang out in the fenced in backyard or walk around the corner to downtown.

Cute house with great views, just a block away from the amenities of Main Street. The bed was very nice with a spectacular mountain view. Very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed, including baking sheets - something that's oddly missing from so many rentals. The yard was nicely maintained. Very cozy house, ideal for a couple. I'd definitely recommend!

You can't go wrong staying here. Kitchen has everything you might need, there is a wonderful fenced in yard with BBQ and 2 bikes. Alexa and wifi. Nice bathroom with plenty of hot water available. 5 stars for sure!

We had a very comfortable and cozy stay here. Very clean and nicely furnished little home. Conveniently located one street off Greene St and the shops. Bed was very comfortable after each day of skiing at Silverton Mtn. Would gladly stay here again.

We loved staying at the Stellar House. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and snowmobiling from town. The amenities provided (bagels, eggs, etc) made the visit that much better. We plan stay again later this year with our dogs.

Everything was great! Easy to check in. We brought our dog and didn't realize that the back and side yards were fenced and that made a perfect place for our Quincy (we didn't leave him, but we could safely play with him)! Bed was comfortable/cozy. Nice to have some 'breakfast basics' YUM! We suggest you don't change a thing!!!

We had a wonderful time visiting this property. It was clean and the kitchen Was fully stocked. The backyard is amazing, the only drawback is sharing it, but that might just be me. Overall I would highly recommend this home.

We had a such a great time in this home during our week long stay. It is clearly an older home but the owners have taken good care of it and reminded us our grandparents house in Tennessee. It was exceptionally clean and the kitchen was well organized for a small space. It was perfect for the two of us. I am sure adding another person might be a bit cramped but you could do it. I was skeptical at first worrying about being cool but I was definitely fooled. It was very cool in the mornings and quite pleasant in the evenings. Loved sitting out on the front porch and enjoying the people go by as well as being close enough to walk to the main street. Thank you for sharing your home.

The cottage was extremely cute and had everything we could possibly need! They were so kind to leave us goodies also. They have a shared backyard and the tenant in the other cottage was so sweet and had the cutest dog! I would definitely stay here again and recommend everyone to take advantage of this Vrbo!

The Stellar House was our favorite place we stayed during our 10 days in Colorado. It was comfortable, very well appointed, and convenient to all things Silverton. The house was a joy to come home to after a long day on the trail exploring the mountains and sights. We will plan any future travels to Silverton around the Stellar House's availability.

Management was super-responsive and helpful. Bicycles are like new! Perfect location. 5-stars!

Property is dog friendly and you can definitely tell! Furniture is covered with a fake fur which is also covered with dog hair. These were removed immediately! It was also noticed that this property had not been vacuumed or dusted in quite some time, so I did that as well. My wife has a sensitivity to mold and had a reaction in the bedroom and other parts of the house. We tried looking for another property but it was the week of Christmas and there wasn't anything available that was dog friendly. I contacted the owner after our stay and received a $300 refund but no apology or any other correspondence. This leads me to believe she knows about a possible mold problem in her home. I will never stay here again nor would I refer this place to anyone else. In fact I hope it is removed from being rented on this site as I believe it is a health risk!

We were very comfortable and pleased with the Stellar House. Melissa provided all the comforts of home - we had a great stay and will return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in a town where I used to work and live. We loved the historical aspect and were grateful for the owner's attention to detail to make our stay comfortable. Nothing more could have been desired and even though we have a cabin up Cunningham Gulch, we're glad we were able to stay here instead because of its location and the early snows.

Had an enjoyable visit with incredible views of the changing Aspens. Weather did a reversal on us, from sunny and warm to rain/snow. Such is the climate in late September in Silverton! Fantastic time.

We love coming to Silverton in the fall! This house is well equipped with everything you will need to enjoy your stay. Close to Main St with the shops and restaurants. Just walk across the bridge and hike to the top of Kendall Mtn for the best view of Silverton and the surrounding mountains. Very comfortable furniture! A great experience, we will come back to this house next year!

The title is heartfelt as my grandparents lived and worked in this region and it reminded me of the house they used to have. I'll be upfront and say that the cleanliness wasn't the best. Not that it was dirty or raunchy, just more dusty per se. IMHO it just needs a little more attention to the little corners and shelves, and a good wipe-down of the fridge. The overall feel was great though, never did we feel uncomfortable. It was off the main drag, but just a block away from everything really, so location was wonderful. We did appreciate the goodies in the fridge and if we hadn't read the other reviews, we'd not have known they were left purposely. It was perfect for us two and our fur-baby, but it would be comfortable for a family of 4 or two couples who don't mind the open space of the guest bed. Mind you this is a true one bedroom. I thought the Hawaiian themed bathroom was nostalgic though of maybe grandma having travelled by ship to the islands so far away. At 6'1", I just fit into the bathroom, but had to be reminded ONLY twice to duck going in. The neighbors didn't want to socialize around the firepit, but me and my IPA had a great time as we waited patiently for the steaks to sear on the Weber-Que. Check-in was almost too easy as was leaving. Look to the chalkboard in the kitchen for notes and instructions. The WiFi was nice and quick so we could download our content from the day's exploration. I wish we could have stayed through the weekend though as that is when everything opened up. We're still hesitant with COVID, but still the town didn't get too crowded.I do look forward to staying again if you'll have us. Thankfully,Jose, MJ, and Lucy the Overlanding Wonder Dog

We love the house, it is a home a way from home for us, the fire pit out back is great we sit out there every night and enjoy the night sky with a warm fire. The property owners are very responsive if we need anything. I recommend this house and have stayed in it 3 times now.
