Gorgeously decorated house with beautiful grounds and a view of the Potomac river (during the spring - might be obscured by leaves in summer). Very quiet neighborhood. About 10 minutes drive to the Bethesda metro station. Great for day trips into DC. Right near C&O canal trail for hiking/biking. Fully equipped spacious, modern kitchen and a large dining room. Easy to prepare meals and feed a family comfortably. While the entire house was lovely, a few very nice touches make it truly special. The ceiling above the living room has a multicolored artistic light installation and there is beautiful modern art throughout the living space. Additionally, windows cover the entire back of the house to bring the views into each room - you get majestic natural light and scenery from all areas of the house.

We had a perfect stay at this stunning home in Bethesda. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking family meals. Plenty of towels and linens, the bedrooms were perfect and such a great space for our family of seven to spread out and enjoy the home. Highly recommend this home and thanks to our gracious host for everything.

Nancy’s home was the perfect place for our extended family to stay for my daughter’s wedding in Bethesda. We had wonderful meals around the enormous dining room table. Great evenings around the fire place and morning coffee in the screened in porch. The beds were comfortable and there was enough space where 8 people didn’t feel they were on top of one another. Nancy was very kind and attentive. I highly recommend her home.

A well-manicured home in a quiet, upscale neighborhood, this house has all the comforts you’d expect in your own home, plus more! Plenty of space for 7 of us to spread out and enjoy time together, or apart as needed. Downstairs rec room was perfect for the teens to get a way and enjoy tv, games, and working out. Ample supplies in a full sized and fully-stocked kitchen, plus a working grill on a beautiful patio. Not a great space for outdoor activity beyond some driveway basketball and back patio relaxing. Families with small children or mobility issues may find all the stairs and multi-level rooms a challenge. This is overall a GREAT home with responsive and attentive owners. Could not have been a better fit for our needs (7 people, ages 17-75)

The house is not only the most beautiful we’ve stayed in but also the most comfortable (its layout, furnishings, kitchen, surroundings). As I think someone else mentioned, it’s even lovelier than the photos show, and the kitchen is even more spacious. Nancy and Mark were quick to respond to emails and very helpful. We hope to return some day.

Beautiful home! Came for son's graduation from medical fellowship. Plenty of room for family from DC area to come join us for meals and fun. Super clean! Every amenity you could ask for. Stunning architecture and art work. View is breathtaking! Quiet area and perfect location. Nancy was helpful and responsive. Wonderful time! Will book again.

This property is absolutely gorgeous! It is perfect for a family vacation with lots of room and games to play! The house is architecture is stunning in the features are going today! Such a beautiful home in a perfect location. Only 10-15 minutes to the Capital Mall and easy drive into Virginia. Home was extremely clean and big enough to offer plenty of space for everyone. I recommend this home to any family visiting the area.

Exceeded our expectations!!! The perfect home to gather as we celebrated our son’s graduation from Georgetown University. An absolutely beautiful home with all the amenities to comfortably accommodate our friends and family. Despite so much to do and see in the DC area, I highly recommend allowing yourself time to relax and enjoy the serene setting and elegance the home offers.

Our adult family of six enjoyed a great stay. The house is exactly as pictured in a lovely neighborhood. The kitchen had everything you need if you plan to cook (which we did) and groceries and other stores are within a very short drive. The hosts are terrific communicators and leave very complete directions for everything. In all, everything you want from a VRBO stay. We would not hesitate a moment to return.

This was a great property in a very idyllic neighborhood. There are 3 levels to the house so there's quite a bit of stairs to fully access the different areas of the house. We love the tall windows and looking out to see trees surrounding us.

This is a remarkable home in a lovely neighborhood. Although it may be best suited for visitors with a vehicle, we used the Montgomery County RideOn Bus to access the Metro and got about very efficiently. The sleeping quarters were comfortable and bathrooms well appointed. We could have done much more cooking if we had been home more and enjoyed our down time in the kitchen/family room together. The lighting system was challenging and the outside door lock sticky. Need to pull door toward outside to most easily engage deadbolt. Please consider simpler individual programming for the lighting in stairwell to upstairs. Aircraft traffic was intrusive and constant at some days/times and only tapered off after 10 pm. Additionally there are lots of high end touches, like artwork and an amazing light display on the living room ceiling. The yard and patio are delightful and my kids enjoyed shooting hoops on the driveway. One morning we saw deer from the kitchen. The location was great for us - very close to several grocery stores and really Bethesda has everything - restaurants, shops, etc. It was a pleasant 30-40 min drive into downtown. Nancy was very responsive to any questions. We had a wonderful time!

It is a special place but it is a little pricey! We were with 9 people. Three couples and three children ages 11,12,15. The master bedroom is superb, quite large with wonderful views surrounded with floor to ceiling windows. The master bath is equally as nice with generous double sinks and a large sunken shower. The two bedrooms for the the other two couples are quite nice and comfortable' The bedrooms for the kids consisted of one bedroom upstairs with two single beds and a bed downstairs in the (family room) which could be a concern for some. The kitchen is large and well equipped with appliances and dishes and silver ware. The downstairs family room with a large TV allowed the kids to watch their programs separately which was advantageous. We also enjoyed the large dining room table and chairs which allowed for a very nice Thanksgiving dinner. It does take while to get used to the lighting system and locking the carport door can be a challenge. The host was very conscientious in providing soaps, and kleenex, and spices and condiments. We all gave the house an 8 - 9 rating

We stayed at this property over the summer and loved it. We recently returned for a long weekend and the natural beauty surrounding the house is just as beautiful in the fall as in the summer. The house feels like a private secluded getaway even though it is so close to everything. The hosts are wonderful - very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Thanks!

We had a family wedding in Washington DC and this home was just the perfect spot for our large family to gather. The home is comfortable, spacious, and fun with its unique layout and lovely backyard complete with a fountain and large patio. The kitchen is well appointed with all of the appliances, utensils, and cookware you need to feed a large family or host a larger group. Nancy was very responsive and easy to reach. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay in DC. The home itself and its design make any trip to the area that much more special.
