This place was perfect for our family vacation. The views of the bay are beautiful. We went swimming and fishing and had a blast. There was plenty of room for all ten who stayed. We will be back again. We made some special memories here. Thanks.

We had a large group and this home meet all the needs to have a large group stay all in one place. The owner, Mark, is very nice and readily available to answer any questions or concerns. He was very nice to work with and very accommodating.

Mark was a fantastic communicator from the start and throughout our stay. The cottage is a beautiful blend of updates and traditional styles that can comfortably sleep many. The large deck was perfect for eating meals together or just reading a book while overlooking the bay. Lastly, we have a jets ski so the dock was a huge perk for us. Highly recommend.

We had everything we needed and appreciated the ability to keep our sailboat at the dock, launch kayaks from the property, proximity to Fairhaven, restaurants, state parks, and, of course, the bay and the lake. The owner was excellent at answering questions we had. We enjoyed the house and grounds, and plan to be back the next time we have a large group wanting to sail and be on the bay/lake.

Bayside Beauty has an incredible, beautiful overlook of Little Sudus Bay. The home is roomy, comfortable, clean, and well stocked with what you need. The home works well for a good-sized group who are comfortable with a mix of private bedrooms and camp-like dormitory accommodations. Everyone was comfortable and pleased with their beds, even the foldouts. Extra blankets abounded. The multiple bathrooms and roomy kitchen made life with a group easy.
There are two large tables in two adjoining rooms that were used for game nights by two groups, and the layout allows for both privacy and interaction. We explored Fair Haven State Park, Chimney Bluffs, the quaint Fair Haven downtown, wineries, disk golf courses, trails, and even a little fishing off the dock.
We came up for the eclipse and had stellar weather our entire stay... except for the two hours of the eclipse, but we enjoyed Bayside Beauty so much that it didn't matter. We all cherished that water view and could sense the generations of love and laughter that filled this legacy summer home. Everyone had a great time and were sad to leave.
Mark was a wonderful host, easy to work with, and kept me well informed.

Great setting on the bay. Home was as described. Bedding (blankets and comforters) were not clean and didn’t have enough for each bed. Dishwasher filter was clogged, so had to wash everything by hand. Some dishes were dirty upon arrival. Overall home was comfortable and was a nice place to relax after a day of fishing.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was nice. The View was spectacular. He has everything that you would want if you are camping. My nephews had fun fishing on the dock and they caught lots of fish. It has a beautiful sunrise. Only one criticism, the beds in the basement smelled a little musty.

The locations was nice with a view of the water. The house is not in great shape though, people should know this before renting. This is not an updated clean rental property, it is an older camp that is being rented out as-is with very old and dirty furnishings (including the couches and the linens and pillows for guests to use). Upon arrival I called the owner to express our disappointment. We weren’t even sure if anyone had cleaned. He sent a cleaning person back which helped a little. But overall I would not recommend this house to anyone who cares about cleanliness.. We were also not able to swim at the house because of the weeds but there’s a beach at the state park so we paid each day to swim there. We expected the weeds but this is a particularly weedy/buggy part of the bay so bring bug spray. The owner was as helpful as he could be given the circumstances.

Family Wedding Weekenf
We had an amazing time in Fair Haven. We were there for my niece’s wedding at Collaca Estate winery just a mile down the road. We had a great cookout on Sunday night on the deck with my family and brother-in-law.
Evenings were great as we fished off the dock catching lots of bluegill and some good size bass. After dark we enjoyed campfires on the bay and family games later inside.
The bedrooms were great, plenty of hot water for showers. Overall a great place to stay and I would look to stay here again in the future if we head up that way again!

Family Wedding Weekend
Our vacation in Fair Haven coincided with a family wedding. This rental helped make our stay as wonderful as the celebration.
Our host was very accommodating and prompt to respond to any questions I had during my visit.
I look forward to returning next year.

Great location!
We really enjoyed the warm, shallow water and outdoor spaces. The host was very quick at communication with a few hiccups at the beginning and was wonderful to work with. Just a note: if you have anyone with severe allergies, you may want to avoid having them sleep in the basement bunk area. Totally understandable for the wet, humid weather we have had, and there is a dehumidifier.

Great property! plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. water level was low this year, so there were some weeds off the dock. but otherwise great week in fair haven!

Great spot. Great fishing.
Wonderfully convenient. Great deck overlooking the bay. Great dock and Shore Anchor boat hoist. Waterside fire pit. Probably less than a mile to downtown Fair Haven. This was our second Labor Day weekend in a row at this rental and we wouldn't have booked it again if it didn't exceed all of our needs. I brought my small boat for the excellent largemouth bass and northern pike fishing all around the bay. It's a great port of safe harbor with super convenient access to the big water for those looking for trophy trout and salmon as well.

We had an excellent time! We are a big group and there was plenty of spots to sleep!! A beautiful view from the living area! Everything thing we needed to cook and play!!

Peace and Comfort at Fairhaven
This home was perfect for our stay, clean and comfortable with open spaces and a spectacular view of the Bay. We enjoyed the area and the combination of modern conveniences along with family and property history. Inside and outdoor areas were both welcoming , with many places to relax and be uplifted by surroundings; incredible sunrises, blue skies and water, cool Bay breezes. Owner is excellent to work with, reachable and attentive.

Here for Dirt week!
We rented this house because it was 20 minutes away from the speedway! Great location. Owners of house are very friendly and very accommodating! We got there the first night and it was COLD... Took the house a little bit to heat up, being October, but once it did it was PERFECT! They usually don't have people stay in the fall so we understood completely. Right on the lake, so beautiful. Nice to wake up to geese, ducks and swans swimming right at the dock. Very clean and LOTS of places to sleep. 3 bathrooms were nice since we had 9-10 people. Made our stay very easy! Thank you and we will rent again!!!

Beautiful spot on a beautiful little bay
A terrific stay. Everything was as advertised and it exceeded my expectations as far as roominess and amenities. I was hoping to be able to dock my little boat and was glad to find a REAL durable, permanent dock with 2 sets of working electrical outlets on the dock posts. I caught a ton of largemouth bass and northern pike. Nice fire pit in the evenings. Rain or shine (and we got both) we were comfortable and spacious indoors as well as out. I would have no reservations about booking here again.

Favorite Vacation Rental
This is our third time renting this cottage. We always enjoy your stay here. Cottage has great access to the water in a quiet neighborhood on the cove. Just a short drive to town and the Westend. Will rent again

Fishing trip
The property was not what we expected. Half the place is a hundred year old camp. The bathroom and bedrooms in that area have no A.C. The basement bath was so small you could hardly use it and the beds down there felt wet the humidity was so high. The musty moldy smell through out the entire property was so strong you could taste it the entire time you were inside the building. Sneezing fits were common. One bedroom and one bath were okay. The owner asked me how it went and I told him all these things. He said he was going to try to get the smell out.

nice cottage on the water older has the feel of a cottage .Mark was easy to deal with an called to see if there was any problem . Good location to all events I Fair Haven. Quit not to close to many neighbors. Bed room situation a little bit different but your at camp an everybody is close nit. great deck and dock a little hard to put kayaks in mite have to get wet.

Love the house!!
This was our 4th time staying here and it felt like home. Ample room for our growing family. The deck was always our gathering place with it’s beautiful bay views. Close to everything yet still secluded.

Cozy Cottage big enough to host a Graduation Party
The Cottage was the perfect gathering place for both friends and family plenty of room for everyone. Everything you need to enjoy a weekend at the bay. Beautiful views of the bay at Fairhaven. Even though the weather was a little late in cooperating we felt very much at home at Mark's place. Mark was very accommodating and was very attentive to our needs wanting to make sure we had the best stay possible and we did. The Cottage provided the perfect hang out for everyone it was a very fun, and relaxing place. We give it two thumbs up and recommend it to those of you thinking of spending some time in Fairhaven. Thanks again Mark for everything.
