We had a great time at your beautiful property. The view is just amazing!

We loved our brief stay at Views, Views, Views and will definitely stay there again! A couple of things to note - first, the only way into the house is up a flight of stairs, the treads are shallow and a bit treacherous in the rain/dark. Second, there were several pill bugs around, most of them were dead, so it would seem they were trying to manage the issue, it didn’t really bother us. We loved the views, the bedrooms were comfy and we can’t wait to take in the stars from the hot tub again!

Beautiful view very nice home. Could use some blinds on the big windows for the afternoon sun. Definitely would come back.

The views were absolutely beautiful and the local restaurant and beach was lovely. We had unseasonably warm weather but the house was not prepared to host us for that environment. No shades and no screens in the windows made it all much worst that it could have been. This house is NOT kid friendly. None of the windows had screens and were low on the ground so we weren't really able to open them without concern of our kids falling out. The few windows we were able to leave open just let in so many bugs and wasps. The property manager did work with us to get a couple extra fans but it made for a really stressful stay. In general the house didn't feel super clean and the kitchen was overly cluttered. The hot tub was lovely. Overall it was habitable but wasn't the most comfortable stay.

This was my first VRBO experience and it was lovely and everything went smoothly! Beautiful home, hot tub and grill we made use of! Steep driveway but that added to the fun of having our cars parked strategically. Very close to the beach! Lots of space for us to be cozy and hang with each other for my birthday weekend. Easy clean up! Really enjoyed my stay with friends ins this cute beach house!

We stayed at your Dillon Beach Vacation Rental last weekend. All in all we had a wonderful time. Thank you! The views are magnificent. It was joyful to all be able to gather in the living room and have memorable times together. Also, I wanted to ask if you are aware of the poor condition of many aspects of the house.. I took some photos- attached- for you to see... along with suggestions for future improvements. Remove old pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils . refinish or replace the down stairs tub.. caulk and clean! rust stains and bottom of tub was disgusting. downstairs beds sag.. 4 of us had backaches the whole time. the single bed on the far side of the room squeaks with every move. kitchen was extremely disorganized and difficult to navigate. deep deep cleaning is need. filthy screens, furniture dirty and stained and some torn, etc. under sinks were yucky, closets were jammed with very odd items that were not necessary and mostly unusable. stairs were very precarious. extreme caution was needed to keep from falling. widen the stairs and make them less steep. Access thru the garage would have been very helpful. NO LAUNDRY facilities. no place to hang towels etc, . Toilets are very low, especially for seniors. Get rid of all of the excess 'junk' in the house.. Thanks for hearing us out. I hope this feedback is helpful and will increase your ratings and peoples stays ... Best to you.

The location of the house and view of the coast are gorgeous but the property is dated and overpriced. The shower curtains and bath mats are old and tattered. The cookware is beat up. There were no beach towels. There are no shades or curtains in the living room, making it impossible to eat at the dining table with the full afternoon summer sun in your face. Spending just a few hundred dollars on new basic furnishings like cookware, knives, bath mats, beach towels, etc. could make this a 5-star property.

The house it near the top of a hill with a very steep driveway. It was a bit difficult to navigate. The panoramic view was unbelievable!

The spa water was green. All the game in the game room was broke. Among lots of other stuff. No propane in bbq. A great location to spend with the family. House just needs a little TLC.

Pros: Insanely beautiful panoramic view, hottub, generally pretty clean (bathrooms and bedrooms) Cons: Misleading on one of the bedrooms as there is no door (thus no privacy and sound issues, upstairs master suite), VERY steep driveway that is difficult to park in, Very strange layout of house, not easy access to hottub or back deck, disorganized kitchen

This is a perfect layout for a house for a family to vacation in really nice. Now that said it is very far away from the water they do make note of that although once getting there I realize it was no way walkable so if you're looking for a place really close to the water this is probably not the best place that's kind of what hindered us from going to the water very often but other than that it's perfect and we would rent again it's got a wonderful hot tub a really cute game room and everything is spread out perfectly a really cute little back deck and it was a great Easter retreat and the property management was wonderful getting back to us it was clean everything was great the washer did seem to have some Kings with it but that could have been operator error too I really have no major complaints wonderful place and don't get me wrong it is far away from the water but the views are absolutely extraordinary and might even be worth not being close to the water to see how beautiful the bay really is

This was a lovely and cozy home. I highly recommend this home if your looking for a quiet and intimate getaway to the beach. Beds were very comfortable and the kids enjoyed all the board games the home offered.

House has a great view. Plenty of room For the 4 of us ladies. Very comfy beds. Pretty steep stairs to get in house. Spa is not under a cover which is ok but no spa during rain. Had to figure out the heating was from a electric fireplace and a space heater. Spices and cleaning products were in kitchen. Plenty of towels and pillows.

If you have any kind of mobility issues, this is not the rental for you all the stairs especially the ones into the house are steep and have narrow treads. There were some maintenance issues while we were there, mostly weather related. Now for the positives Views, Views, Views! The kitchen had really good pots, pans, and cooking equipment and we all love to cook. Bring your own knifes, if you like to cook. And bring ALL the ingredients you'll need. Lots of games which we appreciated and the TV was easy to operate. The Hot Tub was wonderful since it was cold and rainy during our stay. The beds are comfortable as is the rest of the furniture. I appreciate comfort over fashionable for a relaxing weekend

The four of us really enjoyed our stay and the property is in an excellent location for stunning views. The furniture and overall interior was a bit lackluster compared to the many vacation rentals I have stayed in at Dillon Beach, but I would stay again.

This place has killer views. The house is dated but still comfortable and cozy. The two queen beds were very uncomfortable and could use replacement. There are no bar soaps available in the bathrooms, only liquid hand soap. Kitchen was functional with plenty of counter space, but it could use a knife set. The house has a fireplace and space heaters for every room. Loved the game room. We would book again but hoping the two queen beds will be replaced by then.

The rental home is on top of a hill in a very nice residential community of Dillon Beach. Location: nice community, walking friendly, great ocean views all around, about 15 min walk to beach but better to drive down since it's a steep walk back. Driving distance 15-45 miles to some great local restaurants, wineries, scenic hikes, more ocean views. Home: Pros - Amazing amazing views of the ocean, hills, pasture on 2 sides, you're treated to the sunset each evening. Nice open floor plan between living room and kitchen. Well equipped place with kitchen amenities, towels/bedding, games etc. Very peaceful location and low density area really feels like a getaway in spite of being only 90 min from SF. Not so great: Do not expect an upscale modern home. Everything while clean is somewhat old - kitchen, baths, furniture, windows and doors etc. reflected in the price vs say the much more modern homes you could rent in Bodega Bay but was a bit of a disappointment only in this wasn't apparent from the listing or photos. Heat in hole relies on a gas fireplace albeit well functioning. So in the Dec weather some rooms were chilly. Major new home construction underway on lot down which you can't miss, but wasn't an issue for us. Hot tub was broken - few was refunded but wasn't clear at time of rental until we got there. Net net for the fees paid we still had a very nice time. Just need to manage your expectations and be okay with an older place, but one that is clean and comfortable enough and above all offers spectacular views in a beautiful and safe area.

Amazing Views did not disappoint! Unfortunately hot tub was broken upon arrival and was unable to be repaired during our stay. There was only seating for 2 on both decks, so a few more chairs would of been nice. If you go during the week, and want a quiet stay beware of construction going on next door. Otherwise a nice stay.

Overall the place was nice. The view was great! There were some minor cleaning issues, like a hair in the tub and on the bedsheet, smudges on the TV and kitchen appliances, and some cobwebs and spiders that were overlooked. The kitchen tools/appliance description was vague and did not specify what kind of items were there so I brought half my kitchen with me but the home had most things. It would have been nice to know more details prior. We had a great time and everyone slept well so beds were comfy and the living space was a nice space to sit and chat also.

The location was great, the view was spectacular. We were surprised that a construction site had been established next door. We were expecting a quite get away. Notification would have been nice. A broken lamp with a broken shade was in the upstairs bedroom. The front stom door fun’s the deck and is very hard to open and close. There is an infestation of pill bugs. The windows were not cleaned, and dishes were left it the upper teary of the DW. There was also a broken slate on one of the window blinds. With the price I paid I didn’t think this would be the case. Don’t think I would pick this place a second time. It need detailed maintenance and care. Great location

The view is fantastic, but this place needs a little TLC. It stormed our second night and the sky light in the hallway leaked a nice-sized puddle in the dark. Luckily there were plenty of towels. Looking up at it and the rest of the main floor rooms, I noticed there's either missing trim or half way falling off trim in more than one room. The hot tub never worked. We told maintenance about both items. Someone needs to go through the kitchen and game area drawers and cupbpards and get rid of the junk that's accumulated. And toss the broken wooden kitchen chair. It'll break apart if anyone actually sits on it. Such a shame about these things because the house has wonderful views. The layout could be even better with some thoughtful placement of the furniture. And what's up with the light switches not turning on any lamps?

The house is comfy and relaxing. The big room and kitchen are clean and well stocked. The fireplace kept the big room warm at night. The dining room was missing the shades and was bright at dinner time but not so bad we had to wait to eat. The bathrooms and bedrooms were adequate. Had a blast playing air hockey in the game room. Hot tub had a problem and the manager had the tech on it and fixed by the first night. The tech checked in the next day. Making sure it was working ok. We had to use a bit of cooking oil and crumpled up foil to clean the grill but it worked fine. The loungers were relaxing, wished they were 2 more. The stairs are a bit steep to a house on the side of a hill with beautiful views of Point Rays, Pacific ocean, and Bodaga. Worth the steps. Drive to the beach, it’s 10 minutes, the dogs running are fun to watch. They’re crazy jumping into the waves. We had a good time and will be back.

- View of the ocean from the from front window is spectacular - Kitchen relatively well equipped (organized haphazardly). Plenty of plates and glasses. - Dishwasher worked fine (pre-rinsed our dishes). - Downdraft fan on stove [still] doesn’t work. Reported by a previous guest - I specifically asked if this would be fixed before we arrived and was told that it would. Contacted Linda (the host). Her response was “"I have contacted the owner and asked him about the stove top The property manager will have to get back to you We did not realize it was broken again” and "The owner has called a repair person I will let you know when he will arrive”. I never heard back. 2 electric burner drip-pans rusting out. Oven worked great. - Whole place smells musty even after opening the windows for a day. - The skylight over the landing on the upstairs bedroom stairs has leaked in the past - serious water stains and some damage around the skylight frame and on the ceiling boards. Carpet on the landing directly under the skylight has a very pungent and unpleasant odor. These stairs are narrow with uneven tread depth and different rises on various sections. Makes traversing them, especially with luggage, up or down, challenging. - A sign on the front door says the outside stairs are “… very slippery when wet. Use caution”. They are very steep - rise too high, run too short and they slant towards the ocean. Feels unsafe carrying items (suitcases, etc.) up and down the stairs even when dry. If nothing else, treat with an anti-slip epoxy coating. The stairs are wet when there is a heavy fog/dew at night - no rain necessary. We unpacked the cooler outside as getting it up those steps was not safe. - No screens on most opening windows. Provides fresh air but allows flies and potentially birds to enter. - Many blinds don’t work properly (the twist handle that allows the angle of the slats to be changed missing on most blinds that remain). Some slats broken. - Dining room table wobbles! Chair has a broken armrest. No placemats or napkins provided (we brought our own). - Only one hair dryer provided. Asked Linda for a 2nd. She replied, "I will check and find out if there is another hair dryer in our supply closet". No further update; it never arrived. - Few hangers in the closets. - No towel rack in master bath to hang bath towels (hook on door loose - Light bulbs missing in several lamps -Found beds uncomfortable - way too soft, mattress topper doesn’t help

Overall good experience.

Host and property management easy to work with and friendly. Would definitely rent this house again!

The home and photos were as described in the listing (some changes in furniture and bedding), and Linda, the property manager, addressed our questions prior to our visit and stayed in contact after our visit. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed for preparing meals. Great views; the fog lifted for one sunset but we were thrilled to escape the summer Sacramento heat. While sipping coffee or cocktails, we enjoyed the parade of wildlife - does with their fawns, racoons, jack rabbits, and hawks & turkey vultures enjoying the thermals. Day hikes to the Bodega Head and Armstrong Redwoods followed with cold beers and BBQ oysters at Rocker Oysterfellers in Valley Ford, then returning back to Sea Scape for a nice soak in the hot tub. Very comfortable and spacious lodgings for my husband, his sisters and me.

The house is dated. Bathrooms and kitchen stove need updating. Also, this house has steep stairs at entry so not good for older adults (like me). Great view and plenty of room for family and playing games. We had fun!
