'Dos Hermanos' A Short Walk To Downtown Carmel
Cette maison de 2 chambres / 2 salles de bain est un peu moins de 1100 pieds carrés et est située dans une rue calme de Carmel; à seulement ½ pâté de maisons de Carmel by the Sea et à quelques pas du centre-ville de Carmel avec sa plage de sable blanc. Vous découvrirez le charme dès votre entrée. Les planchers de bois franc et la fausse peinture dans toute la maison lui donnent une sensation traditionnelle de style mission. Entrez dans le grand salon et admirez le plafond cathédrale, le lustre en fer et une belle cheminée à gaz en pierre. Détendez-vous au coin du feu pendant que vous regardez la télévision sur un écran plat de 42 pouces ou profitez du Wi-Fi. Small house with all you need. Other people stated it, just to confirm, the house is a bit offsite, ie. you need a car to get to town. Walking will take 20 min or longer. The house itself is rather dark inside. Overall it has all you need and it is a nice small place. One IMPORTANT caveat: we had ZERO ! cell phone coverage (no AT&T, no T-Mobile, no Verizon). The street/area has almost no coverage. It is like a dark spot... The house has Internet /WiFi) but if you need to make calls, use GPS et al. it will NOT work. We enjoyed our stay, but spend most of the time outside, playing golf etc. Thus, if cell coverage is no issue and you are looking for a small, nice place in a central location - this is great. Communication with the owner was good and overall we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The place was spotlessly clean and exactly as described. Owner great to work with and communicative. Lots of room and comfy. Quiet neighborhood, a few blocks to restaurants. We invariably walked to dinner (downhill) and took ride-share back after dinner. Great place for a base from which to explore the area.

Positives: Plenty of hot water, plenty of hangers, totally quiet neighborhood. Short drive to Asilomar for a workshop I attended. Sweet yard with lots of bricks. Negative: The washing machine that automatically dispenses a stinky soap made all my clothes stink. That's why the sheets and towels at this place all stink.

This is the second time we've stayed at this house and it couldn't have been better for our small family with a 5 yo kid. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to downtown and the beach. House is stocked with all essentials, is very clean and comfortable. We hope to be back next time!

This house was perfect for our family trip (2 adults, 2 kids 7 and under) to Carmel. Short drive to downtown Carmel by the Sea, as well as Pebble Beach and other areas along the coast. Great back yard too for kids to play in and/or for the family to sit and relax. Also, very responsive owner who was great to work with. We already can't wait to come back.

This property was spectacular. spotless. well appointed. all the comforts of home. Great location very close to Carmel by the sea with all the shops and restaurants yet nestled in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. It was obvious how much the owner cared about this home. Great communication through out the process with Sandy. Staying here was a big highlight of our bucket list golf trip. Highly recommend.

Dos Hermanos is a wonderful , well appointed house in a peaceful neighborhood , with easy access to Rte 1. And the owners are first rate. One of the nicest houses we’ve ever rented!

The location is ideal, close to Rt 1, walkable to downtown Carmel, shops and restaurants. House is in a quiet residential area in NE Carmel.
Enjoyed the backyard area and the gas fireplace. So cozy!

My husband and I wanted a central location that we could easily walk to town and the beach, but that was not right in the middle of Carmel during one of the busiest weeks of the year. This property was just wonderful - cute, clean, quiet, well equipped. Everything was as advertised or better. Communication with Sandy was easy, checking in and out went smooth, and the directions were clear. I almost shed a tear when we pulled the door closed and turned the key to leave. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Hard to find. Not on many maps
The toilet was way too low. Almost impossible to get down and up. Nice appliances. Needs more lighting and outlets especially in the living room. Well furnished.

Cozy, quiet & comfortable
My family and I had a lovely stay at Dos Hermanos during Spring Break. It was everything we needed -- comfortable bedrooms, a thoughtfully furnished kitchen, and conveniently located for getting to Hwy 1 and into downtown (although we chose not to walk the steep hills 😁). Very quiet spot, not even the birds wake you up! Sandy provided excellent communication before and after our rental. I highly recommend Dos Hermanos for your next visit to Carmel!

A wonderful quiet retreat
Our week stay was everything we hoped for. The property, inside and out, was clean and well maintained with comfy beds, updated applianaces, several windows offering an abundance of natural light, the neighborhood was quiet and the location offered proximity to Ocean Street and other must see travel destinations. We're already looking forward to our return to Dos Hermanos in September.

Comfortable home and beautiful neighborhood
We had a very enjoyable stay. The house was clean and very comfortable. The gas fireplace in the spacious living area was great. The surrounding residential area is great for walks, and the location is central to Carmel, Monterey, and Seaside. Would love to stay here again!

Tranquil Stay in Carmel
Dos Hermanos was a fantastic stay. After three weeks of roadtripping in different Vrbo's and Hotels, this was really our top pick. It is thoughtfully and comfortably furnished with everything you would need for a great get away. Really so happy we found this place.

Lovely well furnished plus excellent location
One story level two bedroom two bath fully equipped kitchen. Furnishing excellent . Outdoor area for sitting under umbrella or grilling food. Must bring flashlights as no street lights when trying to locate property at night.

Absolutely perfect!
We enjoyed our week in this home in Carmel SO much! Such a lovely home! The owner was very responsive to any questions and there is a very complete instruction guide for all our needs. The home is on a lovely quiet neighborhood street in Carmel. Everything about the home was comfortable, and each room spacious and nicely furnished. We enjoyed our week so much!

Everything we expected and then some
We have very much enjoyed an 11 day stay in Carmel, largely due this fine property.
This was our first experience with a Vrbo and we found it outstanding. We have a few relatives living in Central California and they were also suitably impressed. The reviews of this property are very accurate and helpful. I submit the following;
The beds and bedding are fine and equipped with clean, high quality linens.
The kitchen is well stocked, down to a complete spice rack.
Sandy communicates completely and in a timely manner.
This was our third visit to Carmel and I hope to find this place available in the future, in our experience it would be hard to beat.

Just Perfect
This Carmel cottage is so quaint and comfortable. It was perfectly clean and very charming. Loved the beach chairs, umbrella. Walked on Scenic Drive every morning to just to take in some of the most beautiful ocean views there are!

Amazing Carmel Vacation
Our family has been coming to Carmel for 10+ years but this was our first time staying in this house. It's a perfect location that's walkable to Carmel By The Sea and also has quick access to the PCH for driving elsewhere on the peninsula. We look forward to staying here again next summer.

A real find in Carmel
My husband and I are retired along with our friends. We highly recommend this cozy, comfortable cottage at a very reasonable price for Carmel. Plus, it has been remodeled. Very nice open living room, dining area and kitchen! Also, within walking distance of the Main Street in Carmel. You can’t go wrong with this cute cottage in Carmel.

Relaxing and Wonderful!
I stayed here with my small children (2.5 and 4.5) for 10 days to visit family in the area. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to come back. My husband was envious that he was not able to come - especially when he found out I had a California King bed to myself. The yard is completely fenced in, which was wonderful for my children. The beds, bedding and towels were all very soft and comfortable. I enjoyed the fireplace after my children went to bed. We had everything we needed for our meals, including celebrating my daughters 5th birthday when we were there. We look forward to staying in this property when we travel to the area again.
Note: walking to Carmel for my youngest was too far and we used a stroller but was okay for my older child. However, the walking to the beach would have been too far. All were perfectly fine for me, as an adult.
