My family enjoyed our week at Joel’s rental home. The house and grounds are beautiful! It included all the amenities you need. My grandson loved the pool. It is central to visiting Jacksonville, Jekyll Island, Amelia Island, Okeefenokee swamp, St Simons and more. We visited them all! Thank you for letting us stay in your house.

Beautiful home right on the river. Nice view from the charming screened porch off the master and one of the other bedrooms. More views from the main TV room and pool. I cannot say enough about the cleanliness of this home. I have weekly maid service for my home and she’s good; but she cannot touch whoever does this home. The gas “golf” cart was excellent for carrying supplies to the well lit boat dock with its own landing. I don’t pickleball, but everything you need is provided. There’s somewhere around 10 bikes, but I didn’t count them. I have never stayed in a rental so well stocked. In addition to a regular coffee maker there is a Keurig pod maker. There are TV’s in all the bedrooms AND kitchen. The main TV room has seating with 4 independent electric recliners. The TV includes too many channels and Netflix and more. Joel is a phone call away, but I missed meeting him. He doesn’t bother you unless you have a question. Check in is very seamless and flexible to use the pool upon early arrival if cleaning is not quite finished. Washer/dryer/dishwasher/a large pedestal fan for someone used to sleeping with one, but each room has a ceiling fan. The grounds are beautiful. There is a Dollar General and grocery store and a gas store not 2 miles away. It was just a great place and I very highly recommend that you don’t hesitate to make it your next family stay. John

The property was as described and full of history. We enjoyed learning about the house. There is lots to do from riding bikes, nearby hiking, and the pool. Great property.

Such a peaceful location with beautiful scenery. The house had all the amenities we needed. Joel was a great host and very responsive. We had a great time and we’ll definitely be back!

Loved the house. All the amenities you need for your family. We stayed a week and loved it. Everything you need is in the house. Pool was fantastic. Did some fishing from the boat dock. Fish were jumping in the river, but did not like our bait. I will be booking this house again for a family vacation.

I keep coming back to this beautiful and comfortable home for many reasons: It is in a quiet an accessible location, and has all of the entertainment and conveniences you could desire! A significant feature is the outstanding scenery in a spectacular private park-like setting and the riverfront location. I also love the heated pool! I am already looking at the calendar for another visit.

This property was very quiet and peaceful, located in a pretty setting, and very remote. House was very clean. Owner was super kind and responsive. Was a great week.

This is our second time staying at the property. Its amazing Joel is fantastic easy communication . We have already booked for nest year. It is so beautiful and peaceful we enjoyed the pool , pickleball , and fishing. When you go there its a feeling of coming home. Cant wait to go back. Everyone is so friendly and nice!

We had a great and relaxing stay. The property is beautiful and the owner so helpful. We were there for a month, had some family visit, plenty of room for all of us. We took our pet, he loved the freedom of the yard. The town is small but everything we needed and sites to see and larger shopping are close by. We loved our stay, enjoyed every minute.

This is a great place! Sadly the heat went out when we were there. The owner had a workman there the next day but, we went 2 chilly nights without heat. I will however, go back if the occasion for it arises! The owner is great and offered to return some of our rent for the inconvenience but we didn’t take it because we enjoyed everything else about the stay! We had a really good time here!!

Everything was to our satisfaction. It was like staying at our personal house no issues at all. If anything was wrong Joel never hesitated to call or fix it. He is always available. Made our stay feel just like home

We had a wonderful weekend at the property and hope to visit again! Everything was clean and tidy. We played pickle ball, swam, fished, etc. I will caution that if you’re sensitive to smells, then the sulfur smell of the water (running water, not the pool) might be a problem for you. We quickly got used to it and would happily return. I thoroughly enjoyed the priceless memorabilia throughout the home. Overall, a fun and relaxing weekend. Thank you!

Stayed here for daughter's wedding and it was the perfect choice. Had a small get together the night before around the pool. The pool and patio area was large enough for everyone to be outside. Joel was a very accommodating host and allowed a late check out when we needed extra time. I would love to go back and just stay for some quiet time!

We have stayed here twice already, and we absolutely love coming down and relaxing on such a beautiful property. It is the perfect getaway for our two families (4 adults and 6 kids).

My kids said it was the best place we've stayed yet. They were a little bummed at first that I didn't get something closer to the beach, but once they arrived and saw all the amenities, they started singing a different tune. The bikes and nearby bike trail were huge hits, and our granddaughter loved the pool, the huge yard and the rides with aunts and uncles on the cart. We're into pickleball, so it was wonderful having a court all to ourselves. Everyone loved sitting on the dock especially at sunset. It was beautiful, and we're going to try a return trip if we can all work it out again. The hosts were great and very thoughtful. They even brought by some additional things like night lights and extra power strips so we could charge our phones. It really was one of our favorite vacations. One thing we'll do next time though is to bring food with us for a couple of days. The closest stores didn't really have what we needed. It wasn't a problem to go a little further out to Publix or Walmart later on in the week, but we were a little tired that first day. We highly recommend this place, though. The amenities were right up our alley, and the beach and other activities are well within reach.

I have wanted to stay here for 2 years, it was everything I wanted it to be. We had all that we needed, Joel was always available. I can’t wait to go back.

My boys really enjoyed it here! They are 15,10, and 4. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing space, this is it. The boys didn’t catch but one fish and a gar but for them, they just love to fish. We really enjoyed the convenience of the pool! It is very well kept up. My husband and I enjoyed the house: the pictures, books, antique family items. Reminds us of home and much simpler times. We did venture off a little and went to Jacksonville zoo and Jeckyll Island. The Island is fantastic. Most of our however, was spent at the home. Thank you, Joel, for sharing your property with us! Joel was very responsive when we needed to ask a question. We will be back in the future if you let us! Much love! ❤️

Lots to do at this comfortable home. We all loved the pool and playing tennis. Scenery is beautiful. There were alligators in the pond and river but we never felt threatened by them. Our interaction with Joel was great. He was kind and responsive to any questions we had. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

My brothers & I have been renting property for over 17 years for an annual “boy’s trip”. This year we had 3 brothers & 2 adult sons! The weather was horrible during the entire stay, but we were still able to make it out on the boat 3 times. The 85 degree pool was used everyday for the week! We spent time eating & playing games under the screened in porch as well. Never made it onto the tennis courts, but we had everything we needed for tennis & pickeball! We’ll be back….

The views were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the tennis court, fishing dock and pool. Bicycles, fishing rods, tennis rackets, pool toys, puzzles and games were readily available. We had everything we needed. The host was wonderful. We highly recommend this property.

This is my favorite vacation getaway. I have stayed here before, and plan to come again soon! This is a beautiful and immaculate home in an idyllic and quiet location (expansive and well-kept grounds surrounding the house, gorgeous ancient moss-covered trees, and a great view over the adjacent river). There were plenty of amenities, but the heated pool is awesome.

This place was great! Beautiful, clean, tidy (including the grounds), and so peaceful! Everything you need to unwind: fish in the morning, pickleball/tennis in the afternoon, swim in the evening. We went out only to try local eateries. The owner was quick to respond to any questions and most helpful! We loved it and hope to stay again soon!

Great place, will definitely go back! Beds are comfortable, only recommendation would be updated dishes but that is being nit picky

We have returned every year for the last eight. This property never disappoints. It’s beautiful and has many different amenities. The property owners are so kind. This is our family favorite.
