First time working with an owner.
We have been going to North Padre Island for 20 years. This was the first time we had worked with the owner of a property. It was a great experience. She was so understand and took care of any problems in a timely manner. We enjoyed our stay so much.

2nd stay
This is the 2nd time we (me and my son) have stayed here. You can't beat the location to Whitecap Beach. Check-in was easy and I'm sure we will be back once it warms up.

Just the right level of relax
This place was perfect. It was just enough room for my husband and I to room with my parents. The guys chartered a fishing trip from Dolphin Docks and my mother and I were able to spend the weekend at the beach just relaxing. Spent some time in the pool as well. Everything was so close. The condo was so adorable. We loved all the seahorses and it was so clean. You can tell that they really take the time to keep the place up and we appreciated that. Thanks for letting us in your home, we had the best weekend.

Great location
Perfect size and location. The property was great for a family of four. Great pool and gym. The condo could use some rugs to keep sand from being tracked in. Also, one of the blankets in the closet had sand in it when we pulled it out to use it. Overall this was a great place and we would definitely stay again. I’ll pack a rug or two!

Nice little condo near beaches and restaurants
This was our first experience with a VRBO property. The contactless check-in process was easy, and the condo description was pretty accurate. It was a very short drive to multiple beach access roads, and there were a number of souvenir shops and restaurants nearby.
The listing stated a four cup coffee maker, but we found a Keurig in the unit. Updating the listing to reflect this upgrade will help people pack the correct things for coffee, if they didn't plan on buying what they needed nearby.
The other bed was a Murphy bed in a faux cabinet that could use some basic instructions on how fold out and fold back in. We figured it out eventually, but without instructions renters run the risk of damaging the bed frame or cabinet.
The last issue was that the shower drain was slow, causing water to accumulate in the tub during showers and remaining for some time afterward.
Overall, we had a great time in the condo and on the island!

Wonderful location
The condo is cute and cozy. The location is fabulous, if you plan on going to Whitecap beach. There were only a couple things that could use some attention, like the slow shower drain and accurate log in wifi info. (We figured out by looking at info on modem) The poop is nice and convenient located.. It truly is a great place to stay and we would definitely come back.

Mother’s Day Last Minute Trip
My sister in law and I decided to escape with my nine year old niece for a last minute weekend trip. I can’t believe this cute little condo was available. Since we had a child with us a pool was definitely a requirement. The pool area is great and the hot tub a larger size and right by the pool. Nice and well maintained fitness area. The property itself is a short walk from the beach on a brick path about two blocks to Whitecap Beach.
Love the condo and happened to meet the property owners by chance. They are lovely people and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nothing was lacking!

Property not what it appears.
Small dirty condo not even large enough for a table to eat meals at, only 3 barstools at the counter. Bugs and cockroaches everywhere. Dust bunnies stuck to the bedroom walls, curtains and vent.
A friend had another unit in the same building could get in by 3PM, me not til 4PM and then I had to call the owner to set the code so I could get in. There should be a universal time for check-in and out.
Would not stay here again or recommend it.

Nice place
It was pretty much what I was expecting. A nice place to stay and a short walk to the beach. We appreciated a sufficient supply of kitchen items so we could cook there and not go out all the time. The dishwasher has seen better days, but we just hand washed everything ;) Overall, it was a great!

Beach condo
The property was great, overall pretty clean. Working with the owner was great, easy to communicate and response time was awesome. It was decorated so nicely. I’d highly recommend the property. We would definitely stay there again.

A few issues but good overall.
The code had a few maintenance issues that were handled. The big issue is the entry code did not work upon arrival and the contact number did not call us back for 2 hours.

Colorful, Cozy, and Comfortable!
Pleasant surprise that condo looked just like the site pictures. Bright, colorful, clean, and smelled good, too! Lots of red accents including comfy red leather sofas, kitchen appliances and dishes! Plenty of kitchenware and nice bed lines. Nice to not have to climb the stairs.
Pool area lovely, but we stuck with the beaches. Had a lovely visit that ranged from foggy, red flag empty beach to ourselves, to sunny and warm beach packed with other families. Regardless we loved the literally 5 minute walk down the street from the condo to get there! plenty of beach for a run or walk down to Bob Hall Pier...for a drink on the deck overlooking the water! And a few minutes up (or down!) the main road several bigger sandy beaches if you wanted even more.
With such a cute condo and such a great location, we would definitely recommend! Thanks for sharing!

Very comfy
We had a great time and the place is all we thought it would be. Only sad part is we had to leave a day early due to mother inlaw having a terrible fall. Thanks for sharing your condo with us. It was great to get away, it reminded me of just why i married my husband 23 years ago! I would definitely return! Beth

Adorable, clean, great location
Seahorsin' Around is a wonderful condo unit close to Whitecap Beach. My wife and I enjoyed the short walk to the beach and proximity to local restaurants. The Padre Island National Seashore park entrance is also close. The decor in the unit is very cute with great attention to detail. We highly recommend Seahorsin' Around!

It is a great location for the beach. The condo itself is just fine.
For a last minute end of summer trip, this condo was fine. While the decor was cute and beachy, it was just not kept up. The couch had rips, the base boards were chipped & filthy, the kitchen cabinets had stains and some of the decor & blinds were broken. Upon arrival the door code and WiFi did not work. The owner was prompt to answer. Perhaps, since the rush of summer is over repairs and maintenance will be done. The location is great! The beach is always great!!!

Best Beach Condo
Hubster and I stayed at the condo for several days and wanted you to know this:
We had a wonderful, awesome stay at this very comfy beach home. We hated to leave but had to head back to our lil' chihuahuas. The hostess was spot-on from far away and even last minute, made arrangements for us to extend our stay. That's right. We had such a great time, we extended our stay and she accommodated us as best she's could. Everything was wonderful. We had gone to get grocers on our way there and lo and behold, she had most of the items we had purchased. From needed items in the kitchen, to an iron, to extra towels, to washer and dryer essential.
We were grateful for their hospitality and plan to definitely reserve and come again.

Great Location - Great Decor - Great Property Owner
This is my second time to stay at this condo and am confident that my feedback to Kayla will be taken to heart b/c I'd love to be back. This condo has great decorations/colors which is obvious in all the pictures and the first floor location is very convenient. The condo does however, show some signs of being "tired" and in need of a refresh (broken bed, burnt coffee pot, rusty tub, broken piece of coffee table and black dust on air vent). I took pictures of the areas needing a refresh and provided them to Kayla and she promptly responded that she would address them as soon as possible. I have no doubt Kayla will address them as she has always been very gracious in her communication. Likely these are issues that aren't communicated to the owners by the cleaning crew and I conveyed them to Kayla as a repeat visitor that hopes to be back!

Fantastic and Cute place to stay
Had an awesome experience, all the amenities, walked to the beach all the time - it was nice to be able to come back inside during hottest parts of day and then go back out.
Very cute decor, fast response, everything we asked was taken care of in 1 hr or less. would love to stay there again
