We have been traveling to HHI since the mid 80’s and this was our first stay in Brigantine and I can assure you it won’t be the last. The property is amazing and everything is so close! Loved our stay will will rent this unit again!

Honestly, I could have been happy just sitting on the deck watching the alligators all week! Very close proximity to the beach, easy to get back and forth. The young adults had a wonderful time biking daily to Coligny to check out all of the cafes and fabulous shops! We would definetely choose this condo again!

The condo really is in an ideal spot...we have stayed in Shipyard before, but not in Brigantine... literally all the difference in the world. The private gate access leads to a quick walk to a less populated area of the beach if you go straight, or a quick walk to Coligny if you turn to your right and follow the road. Ideal for families who have kids old enough to go their own way at times. Rich is a responsive owner and checked in with us after our booking to make sure all of our questions were answered. The unit is on the end and offeres a great view of the lagoon and plenty of wildlife, including an alligator, plenty of herons and egrets, and even a few turtles. We will return to Brigantine Quarters!

A great 2-bed 2-bath condo that suited our needs as a family with 2 children. The condo had everything we needed and the beach was about a 10 min walk away. The best thing was the view of the pond with its resident alligator!

My husband and I absolutely loved the location of this property. The views of the lagoon from the windows in the great room, balcony, and master BR were stunning. We enjoyed observing the wildlife. The short walk out the back gate to Coligny Plaza was another plus. The home was well appointed, quiet and very comfortable. We couldn't be any more satisfied!

Condo felt like home. We enjoyed watching the wildlife, short walks to the beach, bike riding to Coligny, and all the great local restaurants like French Bakery and Charlie’s.

The location was perfect, and the private gate to the beach a huge benefit - just a short walk made beach-going a daily event. The second week we were there, the pool was being ripped up by heavy equipment and huge trees were being sawed down. The loud day-long noise was disturbing.

Brigantine Quarters is a beautiful property! Our condo was amazing and booking it was so easy. It was perfect for our family. It is updated and equipped with everything we needed. We had a great view of the lagoon and saw multiple alligators and lots of wildlife. The beach gate makes going to the beach a quick and easy walk. The two pools are clean and perfectly located on the property. We will stay here again, many times! This was a wonderful vacation!

Our stay at Brigantine Quarters was quiet and relaxing. The weather was very disappointing because it was so cold, but we were able to ride bikes, walk to the beach and enjoy our accommodations. The view from our deck was very interesting for bird watching. We weren't able to use the pool because the weather was too cold and the pool water was also very cold even though it is advertised as heated. We also spent a day in Savannah which was a beautiful place to visit. We took a walking tour of the old town. That's what we love about Hilton Head, you can always find something to do as long as the sun is shining!

This is the first time we have booked through VRBO and were apprehensive at first. We found this beautiful condo and connected with the owner. From the very beginning, Rich was super responsive to all questions and we felt very confident that this was going to be a great rental for us. It was actually better than we expected. The pictures on the page are very accurate. We have stayed in many places on Hilton Head and we were last at the resort beside Brigantine Quarters. This was our first time staying here and it won't be our last. The property is so well maintained as is this unit. There is no television in the 2nd bedroom and for us, that was not an issue but it may be to some people travelling with more people. The views were amazing out to the lagoon and even on rainy days we enjoyed being in the unit and just watching the wildlife. Do not hesitate in booking this unit. You will not be disappointed. Our bikes were delivered and they were outside of our unit. The BBQs worked well and were just across the driveway. Nice to have my wife enjoying her beverage on the covered swing while I cooked dinner :) . VERY happy with our stay here and for the communications from the owner. That went a long way to make us feel we made the right choice! We will book again in the future. Thanks for a memorable stay!

My family and I Have been Coming to Hilton Head Island for years and once again were not disappointed. This particular condo has great views, worked well for our family of 4, and was very clean. Brigantine is a great family destination !!

After much research trying to decide where to stay, we narrowed our choices to Brigantine Quarters and another area. We knew we didn't want to be in the more crowded areas which is why we chose BQ. This condo exceeded our expectations. With the vaulted ceilings, large rooms and great view, we couldn't have asked for more. The two bedrooms are on opposite ends allowing for more privacy with private bathrooms for each. The master bedroom was huge! Plenty of space was available for all. The balcony wasn't huge, but was definitely big enough for our family. There was even a leaf blower available on the deck for the days when the pine needles got in your way. :) The view from the balcony is indescribable. We took so many pictures just from the balcony of the wildlife including alligators, birds, squirrels, turtles and fish. The very first thing my kids did upon arriving back at the condo or getting up in the morning was look outside to see what was out there. There are windows along the living and dining areas which provides more than sufficient views of the lake. The kitchen/dining area and bar area were perfect for any meals we ate at the condo. We did use the grills located just a few yards from the door a few times. The distance to them was definitely not a problem. The pools were very close and were sufficient as well. They were not crowded, but I could see how they would get crowded during a busier season. We used the bike racks for our one rented bike (from Bike Doctor) and our own. We had space outside our front door where we could leave our boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. We rode our bikes all over Shipyard. There is a lake at the golf course in Shipyard that is FULL of alligators. Great place to see them. The distance to the beach was only a 5-10 minute walk or even less with a bike. Their is a small path that leads you to the street that leads directly to the beach. This is such an added bonus for BQ!!! The street that leads to the beach is not crowded and there is one road to cross before you reach the access. Great location and not crowded! We also road our bikes to Coligny using the beach gate. It was about a 5 minute bike ride. This condo is a great place to stay! And, Brigantine Quarters is a great area for anyone wanting a bit more privacy, a less crowded beach and a close proximity to Coligny. Rich is great to work with and answered any questions we had! My family and I just returned a couple weeks ago from a fun and relaxing vacation on HHI!! This beautifully maintained condo was exactly what we were looking for, and more!! After an unfortunate experience four years ago staying at another condo which we had found on vrbo, we were hesitant to say the least about renting through vrbo again. However, after finding this beautiful listing and speaking with Rich, my worries were quickly diminished. This condo is fully equipped for all your needs for enjoying a week away. The kitchen is clean and fully stocked and we cooked several meals when we wanted to stay in for an evening. I can't say enough about the beautiful view of the lagoon from this unit!!! We enjoyed watching the alligators and various birds each day from the large windows and from our private deck. Lots of natural light in this unit!! We have a 1 year old and were concerned at first as to where we would have him sleep as my parents slept in the guest room. Rich had mentioned how very large the master bath is and that a pack-n-play could easily fit in the bathroom in front of the bathtub. It fit perfectly and still allowed us plenty of room! We rented bikes and enjoyed riding to the beach each day, as well as exploring all the bike paths in and out of Shipyard. We loved the close proximity the condo provided to the beach and Coligny Plaza. I could go on and on about this unit...everything was just perfect and we can't wait to return!!! Thanks so much Rich!

We have stayed in Brigantine several times previously over 20 years. I love the convenient location and amenities . We spend a lot if time in the Coligny area and I like that it is walkable to the Coligny plaza as well as to the beach, especially through the walkway. It is also central to many restaurants and of course The Jazz Corner! The unit 270 was very well equipped and very spacious for 4 adults. Although we didn't do much cooking, there was everything we needed for food preparation. The only thing we would like to add would be a stereo system/CD player or IPod Dock system so we don't need to bring when when we travel. This was a very enjoyable stay. It was a pleasure talking to the owner and he made the process very easy to confirm the booking. I look forward to returning sometime soon.

Brigantine Quarters is one of our favorite places to stay on the Island. It offers quietness because of its location. It is a beautiful natural setting with landscaping, oak trees, lagoons with waterfowl and gators. Private gate to an underpopulated area of the beach. Easy walk or bike-ride to Coligney Circle for groceries ,shopping & dining. With 2 pools and tennis courts onsite, one can literally park the car and be content either relaxing or being leisurely active. This is a beautiful unit with vaulted ceilings and a gorgeous view of the lagoon. If you like seafood, try the Black Marlin.

After many visits to Shipyard Plantation,we have made Brigantine Quarters our primary selection.With this units walking access to the beach,short walk to both pools and a beautiful view of the lagoon, there's nothing missing.

My wife and two daughters stayed at this Shipyard property in early August and we couldn't have been more thrilled with the accommodations, location and overall experience. The layout of the condo was very unique to us and was not like the typical "cookie cutter" style condos that contain square and rectangle rooms. This floor plan gave the condo a more "upscale" look and feel. We quickly settled into our normal household routines when we arrived because it felt like home. The outside of the property was very scenic with the back windows of the condo overlooking the large lagoon in the back of the property. It was fun to watch the wildlife go through their daily rituals as we casually watched from the back porch. The location of the condo was also perfect. It was only a couple minutes walk to the very private beach, and yet only a couple minutes drive to the other plantations, attractions and eating establishments. The entire Shipyard complex was not overly crowded or noisy and we enjoyed not being bothered when we went on walks or bike rides within the complex. One week went very quickly because we had such a good time and great accommodations. This was our first time in Hilton Head and we will definitely go back. We also highly recommend this property if you want to maximize your accommodations, location and overall value of your trip. We rated this property 5 stars but I would give it 6 if I could. Thanks!

A Wonderful week. We traveled with 3 other families and we were all extremely happy with the property. The unit was spacious, very clean and had a great view of the lagoon. The pools were never crowded. We will certainly be returning and will highly recommend Brigantine Quarters to our family and friends. We really liked the fact that the beach was not overly crowded. The kids were able to play frisbee and soccer on the beach. The bike/running path through the plantation was also very nice. We did not take bikes this time but will next time. We would encourage others to bring or rent bikes. That is quite a popular thing here.
