The house is wonderful for a large family vacation. We had easy access to the pool and the beach. The kitchen has everything needed to cook for large groups. So far, this was the best location we have found. My family and I will be using this rental again!

We absolutely loved everything about this house. Plenty of rooms and so much space in living/dining/deck areas which was great for all the littles we had there. Easy check in and communication with the owner was quick, easy, and they were so friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend!

The property was exactly as pictured in the listing. The rooms were well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The property was immaculate and ready for our stay. I was sent all necessary info regarding the property ie, check in time, access codes, rules of the property well in advance of our trip. We had great access to the beach, we were centrally located to restaurants and shopping and had a marvelous trip and are looking forward to returning.

We had a terrific time as a family with something for everyone. Lots of beach time, pool time, family time, golf time (not far away), cozy nap time, around the table time, picture time, Ted Lasso and ice cream time, eating great food time, game time and …show time (talent show on the back balcony “stage”)!

The property was in an enjoyable location in Orange
Beach, AL. The house was relatively clean.
What was disappointing was that the property did not look like the photographs presented online. For example, photos online should a structure by the pool that gave some shade, this is no longer present. Additionally the furniture was pretty worn and outdated. Up keep of the property also did not look like any of the pictures online (weeds nearly the size of bushes growing in the cracks around the pool.) The walls in almost every room were marked. When the walls were last painted, paint drips were everywhere including on windows.
Some type of food was left on the cement floor by the porch swing and ants were everywhere causing one of our first actions on site to be that of hosing down the entire cement area. We also used some cleaning product to clean food off of each of the sofa in the living room.
Overall, we had a good time but did not feel like the extra money I spent on this facility was worth it.

Our group had the best time staying at the Heavenly Sunset. It was easy staying in contact with the property manager, who was quick to respond and incredibly helpful. The location was fantastic and the space was perfect for our needs.

Great Location!!
The location of the house was great! We had 3 families with 6 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone! Balcony on back was great to watch fireworks from. Short walk to the beach from the house.

Very nice location and spot on beach. Very Short walk to beach. Having an ice maker was SO NICE!! Most of kitchen appliances and dishes are great; but really need to replace the skillets! Otherwise great stay!

Beach Thanksgiving
Our stay was wonderful. Greg (owner) was awesome as the trip approached and we needed to make some changes. He was prompt to respond and quick to make the needed adjustments.
The house is well layed out and VERY well stocked. Coming in for Thanksgiving we weren't sure what to expect and had brought a few things - totally unnecessary! Probably the best stocked kitchen of any beach location where I have stayed. Big pantry! Ice Maker - super clean.
We hope to make this a family tradition - and think we will do it at Heavenly Sunset!

Nice property. The manager was very responsive. Only minor issue was the cleanliness upon arrival which the manager offered to get their housekeepers back to resolve (kitchen not wiped down, some sheets not changes, so we handled ourselves as there's a washer/dryer on location).

We really enjoyed our time at Heavenly Sunset. Very clean and beautiful place. Plenty of room for the 6 adults and 5 kids under 14 years old. I think the pool should only be for Heavenly Sunset and Heavenly Sunrise (the other half of the house). Sharing with an entire other house is too cramped for the pool area. Especially during these time of COVID-19. I would highly recommend this house tho and we are already planning another stay in Orange Beach with the hopes of staying at Heavenly Sunset.

All 10 of us, ages 5-72, enjoyed the comfortable, beautiful home and the nice swimming pool. Communication with the property manager was excellent as was our contact with the 3 in 1 maintenance crew. Great experience! Would definitely recommend this home!

Our Stay at Heavenly Sunset
We enjoyed our stay at Heavenly Sunset! The beach was only a short distance from the house and very private. Beautiful view from the back deck of sand dunes, sea oats and the ocean. Plenty of room and we didn’t have any problems.

Girls week at the beach
7 women (6 sisters and a niece plus one lucky 5 year old boy) stayed here for a week in spetmeber and absolutely loved it! Owner communication was excellent - very responsive to questions and friendly. Property was better than we expected, perfect for a large group, lots of balcony space, right on the beach, plenty of room. This place con't be beat for a family who wants sunrises, fun in the sun, and amazine evening walks on the beach. Highly recommended - we are already planning a return trip!

2019 Family Beach Vacation & 70th Birthday Celebration
The beach rental was better than we expected from what was seen and read on the VRBO listing. We had 12-family members and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only comments are that the house shown in the photo is no longer green, it's a cream-color (whitish) which is beautiful, but we were looking for a green house and there were no instructions on turning on the swimming pool lights, so we thought the pool lights was burned out. The grandkids wanted to go for an after-dark swim, we had them swimming in total darkness, texting the maintenance (listed on VRBO instructions) for 45-minutes or so before finding the turn-on switch (timer) to the right of the pool entrance gate. It lit up the pool a little, but still dark around the patio area. Suggest more lighting in and around the pool.

We have a five star rating for this property because everything was great: clean, easy check in, great location. The only negative we could say is the sand dune behind the house obstructs the view of the beach from the first floor balcony.

Wonderful Week
Celebrated our 40th anniversary with our whole family. We stay at this beautiful house. We couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations. Plenty of room. Comfortable beds. Split our time between the beautiful beach and the pool. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook for our family of 8. Particularly appreciated the ice machine. We rate this property whole heartedly 5 stars!!!!!!

Steps away from the beach!
Every spring break and every summer, we travel to a new destination and book a home thru HomeAway. This house has now become our favorite! We also say we will never come back to the same house twice, but now that is not the case! 6 kids, 4 adults stayed very comfortably. One adult "hates the beach" and even SHE loved this property. It was so nice to be able to walk out the back door and literally be ON the beach. There was no dragging a million things a long distance to the beach and then dragging it all back (which, with 6 kids, can be no fun!) The house itself was spacious and relaxing. The bunk rooms were perfect for the kids. The beds and the pillows were very comfortable (which isn't always the case!) We loved waking up in the mornings and looking out the window at the ocean - so peaceful! I can't say enough good things about this house! You know it's a win when you haven't even left and you already want to come back!

Still smiling, what an amazing property!
This was our first time ever renting a beach house, and Heavenly Sunset was so perfect for our extended family of eleven that there would be no reason to ever book elsewhere. The room layout of the property was perfect, with ample seating in the kitchen and common areas. The Adirondack chairs on the decks were great, as was the beach access just below. The accommodations were comfortable, and when we had a little plumbing trouble with the toilet the matter was taken care of in a timely and friendly manner. Again, this is an awesome property and we are sure to return.

Perfect Family Vacation
We spent one glorious week at Heavenly Sunset with two other families. There were 5 adults and 6 children, and we all had plenty of room and space. The house is just perfect, and it really is on the most beautiful part of Orange Beach. I could sit on the deck looking at the ocean ALL day long. We enjoyed the beach, the pool, and all the other great amenities the house had to offer. This is our go to place when staying in the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful Oceanfront Multi-Family Home!
This oceanfront duplex was perfect for our large multi-family vacation! Clean and spacious and an easy walk to the beach. The bedroom/bath on the first floor was great for us — the grandparents. Each of our 3 sons and their wives had their own bedrooms/baths upstairs, and our 4 young granddaughters loved sleeping in the 5th bedroom (with the 2 sets of bunk beds.) our 1 grandson chose the top double bunk in his parents room. The large deck was great for spotting dolphins and we often had the pool (with steps at both ends) to ourselves. The kitchen was well stocked. There was comfortable seating for 12 (even though the home is advertised as accommodating 14. We had 13, so always had someone standing or sitting in the adjoining living room. ) There was also an umbrella and beach chairs and toys as mentioned. We would love to return soon!
