This is our fourth time visiting the Red Fox Den and we keep coming back for the same reason; this place is special! The cabin has everything we need and it feels so homey and comfortable. The location is perfect for us as it feels secluded when you're on the property and yet close enough to the highways that you can get anywhere you need quickly. We love the wrap-around porch and spend mornings and evenings there enjoying the mountain air and the view. I can't say enough good things about this cabin and we look forward to our next visit!!

Great cabin that is in a excellent location close to groceries, restaurants and breweries. The cabin is clean, organized and serene. We have stayed here several times and can’t wait to return again!

A great getaway, close to Pisgah hiking and Brevard. The cabin sits atop a hill, surrounded by nature, and is very quiet and peaceful.

The cabin exceeded our expectations. A gorgeous, secluded cabin nestled in the woods. The host was extremely timely on any questions and our family absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommend!

Anne’s cabin was great. Five of us spent a week there for biking and hiking in the mountains and side trips to Asheville. Ate and spent our evenings hanging out on the back deck. Kitchen was well supplied, and the basement billiards room was fun.

We enjoyed another lovely stay at Red Fox Den. The cabin is always clean and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the wildlife, peace and quiet, and had an opportunity to rest and recharge. We always enjoy staying at this cabin!

This is a great cabin in the woods. No complaints about the cabin. all the amenities. quiet at night and would often see deer in the morning. The only drawback, it is about 3/4 mile down a one lane fire road.

My husband and I needed a break from our busy street, my job, our phones and computers, this cabin was perfect for us. We loved everything about it, the decor and furnishings were so lovely, the wrap around porch was wonderful. We like to cook, the kitchen had everything we needed. Instead or hearing cars go by, we heard birds and frogs. It truly is as secluded as the other reviews have mentioned, and the setting is beautiful. We were happy it was cool in the mornings, we had unlimited wood for a fire, which just added to our enjoyment. We did have an issue with the electricity and water going out, this was due to the power being cut because of a repair situation, nothing to do with the cabin at all. . Anne was very concerned and tried to reach us several times to let us know what the issue was. If there is ever a problem, she will take care of it right away. We can't wait to come back next spring.

Absolutely the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. Very relaxing cabin in the woods. We will definitely be back every time we come back to visit my daughter. Great place for the grandkids to come out and explore. Hidden gem in the woods. Highly recommend.

Coming to the mountains is always a delight. The weather was perfect during our stay. The Red Fox Den is so charming and well maintained. It is truly a home away from home. We will be back!!

Our stay at your cabin was everything we could have wished for and then some. Extremely clean with all the amenities provided. The location of cabin is perfect for seclusion, but within short driving distance to lots of sightseeing, hiking trails, shopping and museums. We enjoyed seeing all the deer on property. Would we rent this property again? Absolutely. Everything was perfect including all information from the host Anne Redden. Thank you for allowing your cabin to be shared with us.

We love the privacy, serenity, peacefulness, and calm that Red Fox Den provides. It allows us to reconnect with nature and step away from the stresses of everyday life. It is well maintained and always clean. We enjoy the decor. We enjoy seeing the wildlife and fishing in the pond. We love sitting on the porch and listening to the sounds of nature and the sounds of silence. Red Fox is off the beaten path but just a short drive to everything.

This was our third stay at the Red Fox Den and every time we visit we always regret not staying longer! This cabin is perfect for our needs. While the cabin is perfectly tucked away from the neighboring homes, the location is perfect for trips into downtown Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Pisgah National Forrest. I’m already missing morning cups of coffee on the deck overlooking the woods and pond below! Can’t wait til we return!!

We have stayed at this fantastic cabin several times and it gets better each time! The location is perfect and central for a day trip to Asheville, Brevard, or any of the great attractions in the area. The home is clean, well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and everything you need to make your stay comfortable and feel like home. The property is amazing. We enjoyed our many strolls down the driveway to look at the deer and fish in the pond. The Host Anne is great! We are already planning our next stay!

My wife and I met up with good friends from Mississippi for a week stay. We were super impressed with how beautiful and welcoming the cabin is! Rustic decor, well designed three story with cathedral ceiling in living room, wrap around porch and well supplied for a lovely stay. Wonderful rec room downstairs with a pool table. It was really important that we had a “large dog” friendly house, and this fit the bill for our well behaved GSD. He was obedient to the house rules and loved the walks in the woods and strolls down the driveway, scoping out the deer. Beautiful location. We will definitely return. Thank you, Anne for allowing us to spend time in your family’s cabin!

Amazing property - we saw lots of deer on the property and the cabin was very clean. It’s centrally located and was perfect for the hikes we did. We enjoyed coffee on the back porch and was serenaded by the birds every morning. One thing to note - you do have to drive up a narrow gravel road to access the property but we didn’t have any issues with it at all. Great communication with the property manager and felt we were very well taken care of. Highly recommend this property

Well located, completely wooded area yet central to Asheville, trails and other small towns!

Everything was better than expected. From the communication with owner, to supplies at the cabin, couldn't ask for anything more. Drove past friendly neighbors. Great location; hidden away but still close to town. The cabin was decorated very nice and everything was clean. Nice to see family connection with objects and photos around. We even saw deer and a bear! Don't let that scare you though, it could have cared less about us! Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend!

Rustic cabin with very private location. Relaxing place to stay.

Secluded cozy cabin with a comfortable interior and every guest item provided for. Access via narrow gravel road doable but can be a challenge on a dark rainy night! Would rebook without any hesitancy if returning to the Asheville area!

We just completed our third stay at this wonderful property! We absolutely love the peace, serenity, and coziness this cabin provides! The Property Manager Anne communicated with us prior to and during our stay to make sure everything was perfect, and it was! The cabin is close to everything we need in our daily lives like groceries, restaurants, and entertainment. The internet connection is very stable and good. At the property, you feel so removed from the world. We love to spend our days hiking in the area trails and then relaxing in the evenings and mornings around the property. It will continue to be our "go-to" property when we are in the area.

This cabin and property was the best that we have stayed at, very clean and had everything thing you could need in a home away from home. Plenty of wildlife to enjoy such as deer feeding in the valley below , bald eagle flying through the trees and a beautiful spring fed pond with rainbow trout that kept us busy feeding them. Truly a piece of Heaven that we wish we could stay for a lot longer time. Anne was a great host that did her best to make sure we had a wonderful time while we were here and I wish her and her family the very best!

If you want a cabin for a great get away, that is quite and peaceful; this is the location for you. It was just perfect for a long weekend. Great size, everything you need to enjoy yourself. If you forget something there is a grocery store just down the road.

Property was clean, tastefully decorated, and a beautiful home If you want privacy and quiet, this is the place for you. We plan to visit again in a few months.

This property is meticulously managed. We used it as a guest house for extended family that came for reunion in the mountains. Everything was in perfect order and everyone loved the rustic feel and quiet woodland setting!
