Chalet confortable sur les rives du lac Beaver dans les Ozarks du nord-ouest de l'Arkansas. Le salon / salle à manger / cuisine a un plafond voûté avec une atmosphère ouverte et aérée. Il y a deux zones de terrasse couvertes accessibles depuis le rez-de-chaussée et reliées par une terrasse ouverte. We just returned from our stay at Moonbeam!
Pros -
Location, seriously the best. Right across the cove from a boat ramp that is 15/20 minute drive. The cove is quiet, calm, and clear water to swim/float in.
Walk to the water is probably one of the best from any house we have stayed at Beaver. Looks like new steps were recently added to improve the walk.
Communication was great with the property manager!
Kitchen fully stocked with anything we needed for meals.
The deck was great to look at the lake and see wildlife.
Beds were very comfortable!
Cons-
The house is a little dated, although you're at the lake and spending most of your time outside.
The jack and jill bathroom on the main level was smaller than expected. I had to prop the door open in between the shower to make it feel a little more open. You have to slam the shower door to get it closed.
There is too much furniture in the house for the size. We had to move a chair out of a bedroom because you couldn't get between it and the bed.
We were never able to connect to WiFi, but I didn't contact the property manager about it, we just used our phone data.
We enjoyed our stay and I would absolutely stay here again! Make sure you bring all food/drinks you need as there isn't anywhere close to purchase these items.

Perfect location in the lake! Short drive from 2 marinas. We even left our boat in the water overnight in the cove and had no problems! Wonderful stay! We enjoyed every second!

The upstairs with all the windows and deck are lovely.
The basement rooms are a bit cramped and it truly only sleeps 8. Trying ten would be uncomfortable. The walk to the cove is treacherous but, the water was wonderful.

Great area on a fantastic lake. Appreciated the closeness to the lake. We were able to leave our boat tied up at the shore with no worries. Nice deck to drink coffee and watch wildlife in the morning. Upstairs bathrooms are a little tight and some furniture/pillows could be removed but overall the place has a good comfortable vibe.

We have been coming to this property every year for several years, and always enjoy our stay! The quiet cove is amazing, the view from the Deck is inspiring, and we are able to pull our boat up to the shoreline for the duration of our stay. The staff is always quick to respond and very helpful. We will continue to come and enjoy this lovely home.

Great cabin for our family to stay and enjoy Beaver Lake. Everything was clean and cute. Bring your own coffee! Actually, bring everything you need for the weekend. Not a lot of stores around, not many dining out options. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals at the cabin and enjoy dining on the covered porch. Plenty of space for communal gathering and rooms for everyone.
Steep stairs to the basement, steep walk down to the lake. Not a knock against the house, It is a very hilly area, mentioning this if there are mobility issues. We enjoyed swimming in the cove behind the cabin. Only a short drive to the Lost Bridge marina. We would stay here again.

The interior of the home was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and just about everything you need. Beautiful view of the lake and easy access right out the back door. If you go when it’s cold outside like we did, I recommend lighting a fire in the wood burning stove. The heater had a hard time warming the house on its own. The neighborhood is lovely. The only downfall we encountered was when we wanted to go to dinner one night, we realized the closest restaurant was 30+ minutes away and so are grocery stores. There were two convenience stores within 15 minutes but their “grills” both closed really early. Plan ahead for all meals if you plan to go out. Also, it’s about 45 minutes from Eureka Springs, so plan for that too if you’re going out to explore the town. Overall a very nice, relaxing stay.

The refrigerator did not work the whole weekend stay. It spoiled the meats I had planned to use for a cookout on Saturday but we all ended up resorting to going out as nothing could be kept cold. Fairly upset at the whole situation but the place overall was very nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was comfortable and clean, had a great view of the lake, and just the right size for us. The location was excellent. The cove was perfect for swimming and paddle boarding. We’ll be back!

My family made the trek from the Bay area with their dog and we had a wonderful stay here at the Moon Beam Lake House.
Check-in procedures was easy. The house was spacious enough for us to freely move about. The kitchen was well stocked with an ample amount of Corelle dishware and just about every kitchen item you could possibly need. The charcoal grill great to have and we used it daily. Picnic tables on the back deck allowed us to enjoy the outdoors and lake view.
Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very clear. There was a washer/dryer in the lower-level bath. The lake was literally steps away where we spent hours enjoying the warm and calm waters of Beaver Lake. We had one question which was answered via text message by the Property Manager within minutes. Neighbors were very friendly. Checkout was easy.
TIPS: Pay attention to the light on the FRONT FACING of the stove indicating that a burner is on. Bring your own beach chairs and water floating toys.

Love Beaver Lake, had a place here 40 years ago. This unit is as advertised. FYI there is enough room for a boat trailer in front.

We were made aware of a tv not working, we contacted the property manager who said she’d be out to look at the other one and never did. The photos did no show the steep walk down to the house. We have a daughter on crutches that had a difficult time getting into the house. There was a board on along the way down to the house that is soft and I’m afraid someone will fall. The beds are really soft. We looked under the beds to see if anything was underneath (just like we do hotels to check for socks or shoes that might’ve been kicked under there)....DO NOT look under the beds. The property has a lot of potential. Also, parking is not ideal, and again, no photos of the parking area. It’s all rock and only room for 2 vehicles. I hope changes can be made, if so, this will be a wonderful place to stay.

The house was very nice. We had an issue with the septic the first day but Allyson came over right away to assess and called a plumber. The bathrooms were super clean. The kitchen and family area was very roomy. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the upstairs deck. These retired ladies would stay here again!

Relaxing and Beautiful
My family of 4 enjoyed our time at Moon Beam property. Driving into Lost Bridge Village we were awestruck by the breathtaking view of the lake. As we wound around to the property we passed several small waterfalls. Once we got to the house, we couldn't get over the view of the lake! The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We were lucky and got several days of sun and much of that time was spent on the wrap around deck. Our sons enjoyed walking down to the water's edge and exploring. We are very much interested in visiting again in the summer.

Lake was beautiful. Property had a steep walk to the lake but not too far. General upkeep was OK but a little dirty around the edges. There was sewer back up into the upstairs shower on our last day and some issues with the plumbing.

This property is for the most part great. However, the plumbing is a bit dicey as the flush capacity is very poor. Had to have the plumber out over the weekend. That being said, management was on top of the situation immediately. Furniture definitely needs an upgrade. When you sit on the couch you almost sink to the floor, and the bamboo chairs are very uncomfortable. The beds are super hard. Kitchen is a bit unorganized and could use an upgrade in the fry pans to some nonstick variety. I enjoy cooking with cast iron, but not for eggs and omlets, etc. Now the positives: Size of the home is great for 8 or so guests, I wouldn't put more than that in the home. The lake access is WONDERFUL and the cove for swiming and floating is wonderful. The proximity to Lost Bridge Marina also a huge plus. And we had last minute guest come that stayed at the Lost Bridge Inn which was adequate and close to the house. We ALWAYS appreciate the service we receive from Karen and her partner and their staff. They go above and beyond.And the fireworks at Lost Bridge Community Center is a fun activity for the 4th. overall would recommend, but would also enjoy the house more with better plumbing and furniture/beds/kitchen supplies.
