This Old House est Nouveau!
Ce près de 100 ans, maison victorienne est idéalement situé avec vue sur l'eau et à distance de marche de la plage dans la charmante Stonington, Connecticut. Nous avons récemment rénové le premier et le deuxième étage tout en conservant le charme original de la maison.
Il y a une grande cuisine efficace. En plus des six chambres de charme sur les deuxième et troisième étages (lit king-size, trois lits queen-size - une avec un auvent, un grand lit et deux lits jumeaux), cette maison a une immense terrasse extérieure avec un vue sur les magnifiques couchers de soleil sur l'eau. Une grande cour offre le cadre idéal pour le volley-ball, croquet, et bien d'autres activités de plein air (fournitures de sport peuvent être trouvés dans le jardin hangar ou dans le garage pour trois voitures). Soacious home with plentiful bathrooms for a get-together. The deck w views of boats n sunset was lovely. Nice grassy yard for kiddos. Large kitchen for cooking meals without being on top of each other. A lot of games to keep you entertained as well as a piano n a guitar. Cool AC's for warm days .

House is over 100 yrs with plenty of charm. Large dinning table, living room and deck looking on boat docks. Great location and the house met all our needs. The host, Allison was responsive to messages and gave us suggestions.

We had a wonderful long weekend staying here. The home is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The property is perfect for a large group as it has a good number of bedrooms, bathrooms and large lawn for outdoor games. We enjoyed the deck for meals and watching the sunset in the evening. The owner, Allison was very responsive to questions and very accommodating. We would definitely rent from her again.

A great choice for a New England summer vacation. There was adequate space for the 10 of us visiting from out of state (8 adults and 2 children ages 8 and 11). This Victorian house is clearly historic (100+). We appreciated the spacious and charming layout and furnishings. There was ample room for sit-down meals in the dining room. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dinnerware. There were games, musical instruments, and a smart tv in the living room, a wonderful backyard deck looking out over Don’s Dock and Lambert’s Cove (lovely sunsets), and wicker chairs on the front porch for relaxing chats. Relatively easy walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach in Stonington Village. The owner was responsive and gracious in answering all questions. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

We had a great time relaxing after a busy city trip. Wonderful location, amazing view, friendly neighbours and close proximity to lovely beaches. The property is perfect for a large group as the communal spaces are a good size along with the number of bedrooms.

Wonderful odd house. Breakfast on the patio was beautiful and sunset even more so. The neighbors were also very friendly. It was also nice walking in the morning before we set out for Mystic. Food store very close

A Beautiful Victorian Home in Connecticut
We are a group of 8 women who rented this house for a 4 day stay. The house is exactly as described in the listing. It has a large kitchen which is equipped with everything you need for cooking for a large group and enough seating in the dining room. The livingroom is also large enough for a large group to gather to watch tv, play games or just to relax in the evening. Since this is an older home it does not have central air conditioning however the livingroom and bedrooms have window units that work well. There are also enough bathrooms for a large group. The owner provides a variety of household provisions such as soap, paper towels, cleaning products etc for your stay. As stated in the listing, it is a Victorian style home with 3 floors so there are stairs to climb to get to the bedrooms which may be difficult if you have mobility issues. We really enjoyed our stay at this home and would rent it again if we were in the area.

This house is great! There was so much room for our party of 8. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and general space. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck each day enjoying the weather. It is so close to the wineries, Mystic and restaurants. The owner, Allison was wonderful. Great communication and very accommodating. Super friendly! Thanks for opening your house to us!

Pleasant Family Home
This was my family’s first experience renting a home and in many ways it went very well. The house is in a great location with excellent views. It has all of the room that large group needed and is obviously well cleaned and maintained. The property owner is very responsive and helpful.
However, there were a few things that stood out and made our stay more uncomfortable than we expected. First, the advertised air conditioning amounted to in-window air conditioning that barely cooled the upper levels (especially the the third floor) and “house rules” requested that they be used only when absolutely necessary. Second, the TV was very old, had no working remotes, got no local channels, and could not be easily attached to any of our devices. The lack of TV was problematic in the evenings and on rainy days. We anticipated big family dinners but felt there was not sufficient cutlery or serving bowls provided. Finally, the provided towels and linens were clean, but very old, mismatched and felt like leftovers.
On a whole, we had a good time and will look fondly back at our trip to Connecticut. However, the home could have been more comfortable.

Stonington Weekend getaway
This property is very large and spacious. The deck and sunsets are beautiful. It’s a very short walk or drive into the borough . There is so much to do in the area. Watch Hill, Mystic, wineries, and great restaurants. Or just sit back and watch the sun go down with a glass of wine. The house is very quiet with a larger yard for games and relaxing.

Nice family trip
The house had everything we needed for our family vacation! We enjoyed breakfasts, dinners and stargazing out on the deck. The location was perfect for Rhode Island beaches, and someone walked or jogged into the cute town area and duBois Beach at least once per day. We made the most of a couple rainy mornings but wished there were a better setup for watching TV together. That was the only downside of an otherwise well-equipped house.

The house was lovely and fit my large family well. Lovely sunsets off the back deck. Great location walking to the center of town and Dog Watch cafe. Convenient to RI beaches. The property owner and manager were very responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a great time.

Needed R&R
We were looking for a quiet weekend to recharge and found it at this Stonington house. The water views were lovely. Town was a short drive away, and we discovered several great restaurants and a brewpub. It felt very residential and not touristy. Perfect for those looking for peace and quiet.

Rejuvenating and fun stay during Labor Day
Lovely and thoughtful house filled with beautiful antiques. Beautiful sunsets from the deck (and the 3rd floor bathroom!) Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our small group of 5. We played spike ball and volleyball in the big backyard and board games around the big dining room table. Great kitchen for cooking and hanging out. Very close to the intimate and adorable town of Stonington and the delicious Dog Watch Cafe. Also super close to the beach and a great farmer's market. Also a short drive to Mystic which is bigger and has restaurants, breweries, and ice cream. Allison was really one of the nicest and most helpful hosts I've encountered. We loved our Stonington time.

Perfect week!
We have been cooped up working from home in an apartment for 6 months and this was the PERFECT change of scenery and home to spread out in. So many rooms, big kitchen, gorgeous view from the deck. And a super charming town less than a mile away. I would definitely stay again!!!

A Beautiful View and Sunset + Quirk, Charm, Space, and Cleanliness!
Stayed here on an impromptu trip over the 4th of July weekend. Our crew consisted of two families with toddlers (4 adults 2 5-year-olds). Had the most beautiful and magical time. The view on the deck, even in cloudy weather, was so beautiful -- the pictures do not do it justice.
The house, which is filled with quirky relics of the 80's, 90's mixed in with antiques from the turn of the century, was immaculate! Every square inch was meticulously cleaned and cared for. The house is also pretty big with tons of space to spread out.
Over the four-day weekend, we spent most of our time on the deck grilling, eating, drinking and watching the sunset while the kids played on the backyard.
Our host, Allison was super kind and engaging in speaking before we checked in about instructions, things to do in town, and suggestions for the kids.

Perfect for family reunion
This house was perfect for our family reunion. Kitchen had everything we needed, we could all fit at the dining room table, and the living room was a good size for lounging and enjoying late night conversations. The house is well located (not too long a walk into the cute little town of Stonington) with lots of off-street parking.

Perfect Home Base!
We stayed here this weekend with our wedding party. The house was a perfect home base for our large group-plenty of space to get ready, a beautiful deck with incredible sunset views for grilling in the evenings & coffee in the mornings. Bedrooms had lots of space and comfortable beds, showers were hot & well-appointed. House is in a very convenient location to all Stonington, Mystic, Groton, Noank sights & amenities. Allison was communicative when we needed her and the house was sparkling clean on our arrival. Our friends have already asked when we can come back to the house next! Looking forward to making more memories at this property & in Stonington Borough!

Great house!
We had a group of 9 women with plenty of room. Had a great time even though the weather wasn’t as sunny as hoped! The house is in a great location in walking distance of shops and restaurants. The deck is great (although we didn’t get to use it due to rain). Lots of bedrooms, nice big kitchen and we really appreciated the big table to play games on! Highly recommend this place!

Awesome waterfront beach houose
We spent a long weekend at this beautiful waterfront house and started relaxing the minute we arrived. The large deck overlooks the dunes leading to the Sound and was the perfect setting for a cookout while watching the sunset. Every room has charming attention to details and the living room was large enough for our group to sit for hours chatting comfortably. The owners couldn't have been more helpful or nicer. There are many area attractions we enjoyed as well- touring the Stonington lighthouse, a walking tour of town, nature preserve on the water and great restaurants. You can't go wrong with this house. It's totally lovely in every way.
