My little dog and I had a great stay! The cottage is just perfect and very well appointed. We also enjoyed the private fenced yard and walking around the neighborhood admiring the other beautiful homes. The owners are right there in case you need anything.

Beautiful little backyard bungalow in a premier neighborhood. Quiet and private, this rental lives bigger than it appears. CLEAN and bright, we loved staying here. Nicely appointed and extremely comfortable. Everything in this home is new (or newer) and high quality. We wouldn’t change a thing and would stay here again happily!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property while visiting our son who lives in Lake Oswego. It's the perfect size for two people and our dog enjoys having access to the back yard. The house is within walking distance of downtown Lake Oswego shops and restaurants. Everything is clean and the house had everything we needed. We really appreciated having access to olive oil, spices, paper napkins and coffee. There was even a bag of granola and a bottle of wine. We've stayed at other properties that were not so generous with supplies. Thank you, Morgan!

I opted for VRBO instead of booking a hotel room for my business trip to Oregon. So glad I did. Guesthouse is located in a very unique, quiet neighborhood called First Addition in Lake Oswego. Guesthouse was immaculate and the hosts were very responsive to communications. Neighborhood is great to walk throughout, but house is only a few blocks away from Tryon State Park w/ lots of trails to run or hike. Plenty of places to eat in Lake Oswego and a short drive from downtown Portland. Will definitely book again on my next trip to the area.

This is our 4th time staying at Morgan and Alex’s cottage. It is immaculate with high end kitchen and bathroom upgrades. Located in the highly sought after First Addition neighborhood of Lake Oswego. Fully fenced in front yard, perfect for your dogs and kids. Less than 2 mile drive to downtown and the lake. Tryon Creek (? spelling) is just 3 blocks behind the cottage. The accommodations are lovely with a complete kitchen and separate bedroom. The location is perfect for visiting friends at the French Bakery by the lake, to going to a show in Portland. If you have grandchildren like I do, there is a nearby school with a playground, and you can walk to the library, or the Senior center. Best of all, Morgan and Alex are always available, helpful and friendly.

This is my second stay at this delightful property. It is so quiet, charming, clean, relaxing, and well-appointed. The location is fantastic - in a beautiful neighborhood close to Lake Oswego center and downtown Portland. I look forward to staying here again the near future!

We stayed at First Addition with our Miniature Schnauzer for 4 nights. Having a small yard for our dog was great and made our visit so much easier. The house had everything we needed, was very clean and was a walkable distance to downtown Lake Oswego. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed having the ceiling fan in the bedroom and the air conditioner. The only thing that I would suggest would be to have instructions for the tv remotes and washer/dryer. We would definitely stay here again when visiting our son.

Loved our recent stay. We found the cottage to be much nicer than the pictures, spotless, private, and very well thought out. We had everything we needed for our 4 night stay!

What a gem! This house was charming, well-appointed, spacious, clean, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. Having a lovely yard was a huge bonus. In addition, it was located in the best neighborhood in Lake Oswego - beautiful houses, huge mature trees, and a short walk to Lake Oswego. It is such a peaceful setting and only a few miles from downtown Portland. I grew up in Portland, have stayed in numerous hotels and vrbos when I come back to visit, and think this is an amazing find!

The cottage was very cozy and comfy. Spacious and clean, nice and quiet. We will be back. Great location to downtown LO.

We arrived very late and had everything set and ready for us. There was even some milk cartons left in the fridge which were VERY handy with a 1 year old! The house was clean and comfortable. The yard was a wonderful space for our kids to play and for us to relax once they went to bed. Highly recommended!

Alex and Morgan are terrific hosts. The cottage was spotless, nicely decorated, and bed very comfortable. We will stay here again!

I was in the area for an art workshop. The cottage was the perfect place to rest and recharge. It wasn’t necessary this trip but I could have prepared a complete meal, the kitchen was beautifully outfitted! The bed was so comfy, I loved falling into it at the end of the day. The location of the cottage is convenient to everything you could possibly need/want. I had the opportunity to meet the owner who stressed if I needed anything that I shouldn’t hesitate to ask. I didn’t need a thing, everything was there. Great stay!

Not knowing the Portland area, we took a shot in the dark and tried this Lake Oswego spot. We were pleasantly surprised by the area. Beautiful quaint bungalow style homes. The weather was perfect and all the trees were in bloom. Our cottage was small. But don't let that fool you. We were very comfortable. As was our dog. A nice little courtyard for him to play and for us to just take in the quiet. It has everything you need for a couples getaway. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary. Our hosts, Alex and Morgan were great. And, their youngster who liked our truck. Come the time we are to visit Lake Oswego again we will certainly try to stay here. Thank you. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Really enjoyed staying in the cottage. This is my second visit. The cottage is immaculately kept and so comfortable. Lake Oswego is a lovely community and so proximate to Portland. Was visiting family 10 min away. Couldn't have been better!

We really enjoyed staying here. The cottage looked even better in person. It was adorable, cozy, clean and private and the neighborhood was beautiful. It had everything we needed. Our fur babies loved the private fenced in yard. It was so nice not having to keep them on a leash when they needed to go out. I would definitely love to stay here again!

We loved our stay and were very comfortable . It was ideal as we had a little dog with us who played in the enclosed yard . The kitchen was fully equipped although we did not cook at all. Highly recommend! Full of charm!
