Vous êtes invités à profiter de vos vacances ou de votre voyage dans cette magnifique région de vacances dans cette maison du Colorado récemment rénovée immaculée et très spacieuse avec des vues panoramiques spectaculaires sur le Front Range, Pikes Peak et la United States Air Force Academy. Cette grande maison personnalisée de trois chambres offre un hébergement confortable et haut de gamme pour six personnes. La grande terrasse face aux montagnes est l'endroit idéal pour profiter des levers et couchers de soleil à couper le souffle, regarder les incroyables colibris en été, admirer la vue imprenable sur Pikes Peak, faire un barbecue, faire du vélo d'exercice, tremper dans le bain à remous sous un ciel étoilé (printemps, été, automne ou hiver), ou tout simplement assis sur la balançoire du porche en profitant de l'air frais de la montagne et des grands pins sur le terrain arboré privé d'un acre. Vous pourriez même voir quelques cerfs monter dans l'allée et traverser la forêt qui entoure la maison. Les enfants adoreront la maison de jeu nichée dans les arbres. Étant donné que la maison est à moins de cinq kilomètres de la I-25, il est facile de se rendre à l'Air Force Academy, à Denver, à Colorado Springs ou aux montagnes pour découvrir toutes les merveilleuses attractions de la région.

7 of us stayed at this property, and it was wonderful. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, and take great pride in caring for their home. The location was great to get to all the local attractions, yet we still felt secluded in the mountains/woods. We saw a mule deer nearby, loved the hot tub and views, and the house had toys/legos for our 3 kids which they loved. The treehouse was a huge highlight for the kids as well, who played there for hours during the trip. There was a brief issue with AC which the hosts personally addressed asap. We'd definitely stay here again!

We stayed here with our smaller family group of 6 people for our daughter’s graduation from the U.S. Air Force Academy 2024. The house is beautiful, clean, has every amenity, and is in the perfect location with amazing views. The hot tub was nice after a long, busy day, the well equipped kitchen and bbq grill made it easy to eat at home, and the wifi and cable TV kept us entertained during our (scarce) free time. Sharon and Larry were fantastic hosts who were readily available, friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this property and would like to revisit again in the future.

We had an incredible stay at this house for our son’s 2023 Air Force Academy Graduation. I would actually say the description of the house does not do it justice. Tons of space to spread out, and great little touches throughout. Open kitchen (that was very well stocked) enabled us to cook and gather between graduation events. Huge master bath and closet. The deck, grill, and outside seating were amazing. Tons of parking for all! Overall, we can not have asked for a better house to celebrate his graduation!

We wanted a house with a view of Pike's Peak for Parents Weekend, and this delivered with the added bonus of a view of the Academy. Very quiet neighborhood and convenient to the North Gate. Extremely well-equipped house, particularly with all the cookware. The owners were super-helpful and friendly, even walking me through a minor issue with the hot tub. The house has a definite vacation feel, which we and our cadet greatly appreciated.

Genuinely perfect
We stayed at this fabulous home for a week, visiting the area for our son's USAFA graduation. Sharon and Larry were just amazing - communicative, caring, and thoughtful. We were only sorry we didn't get to meet them in person! Everything was truly spectacular, and we are so grateful for the experience.

Cabin in the mountain
Our stay (6 adult and an infant) at this beautiful home was just great. Multiple comments were made about how nice the place was. The communication from Sharon was so great, she went above and beyond and I truly felt like she cared bout our experience at their home and our trip! Very last minute I decided to bring our 4 month old daughter and Sharon had a pack n play ready for us! The only letdown was we believed the hot tub was open but came to find out that they shut it down in the winter due to a burst pipe years ago and forgot to change the note in the VRBO description. But I won’t hold it against them because it was still such a lovey stay 😊 I highly recommend this VRBO!

This lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are warm and welcoming and clearly communicated all the information necessary for a hassle-free stay and to make check in and check out a breeze. Everything we were looking for and more
Our family stayed at this property for the USAFA 2021 graduation. The property owners were easy to communicate with, and made accessing the home simple. The home is beautifully decorated and had more than enough room for the seven of us. We had some local family join us for a dinner one evening and the space was perfect for everyone to spread out and enjoy good conversation. The kitchen is very large with high quality cookware and service. Many, many extras are provided by the owners...from spices in the kitchen to toiletries you may have forgotten. But best of all is the living room and deck where you have a fantastic view of USAFA and Pikes Peak...we sat in the hot tub and enjoyed this view for quite a bit. We would absolutely stay in this home again! Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

A Truly Wonderful Property with Exceptional Hosts
Larry and Sharon’s property is absolutely beautiful. The house sits atop a hill with an amazing view of the mountains and includes tons of natural light. It is incredibly clean and well maintained, and includes all of the luxurious amenities that one might need for a 5-star stay.
Larry and Sharon are wonderful people and extremely accommodating. They make you truly feel special when staying at their property. They are very punctual and make the whole process, from the moment you book, to the moment you check out, a completely hassle free experience.
This property is an absolute gem, and its owners make a beautiful place to stay feel like a true home away from home. We look forward to staying here again in the near future!

Great trip
Great trip the kitchen was so well stocked/ the view was breath taking! The only problem we had was navigating the hot tub! It has to be emptied every night and was only like warm gurvus but everything else was awesome! The bed was So very comfortable. The master bath was beautiful! Would love to return!

Incredible property! Beautifully maintained, gorgeous views, large comfortable interior + location
We loved our stay in this beautiful, warm peaceful home for a week over Thanksgiving break! We loved the comfy beds, the gorgeous large kitchen and counter space for cooking + large table for hosting family who live nearby and the large hot tub on the deck with amazing mountain views. The host Sharon was very warm and welcoming and made sure that everything was set up perfectly for our stay. She left amazing little touches like breakfast items for our first morning, legos and toys for our young son and tea, cookies and chocolates for us! The house has absolutely everything you will need to feel at home. Location is central between Denver and Colorado Springs with many activities in the surrounding area. I would recommend this home for anyone seeking a beautiful home in a gorgeous setting to gather with friends and family. We can't wait to return.

Fabulous
The property and its surroundings are beautiful and the views are gorgeous. We visited USAFA on several occasions and it never took us more then 10 minutes drive to reach its North gate.
The home is super comfortable, it has a gourmet kitchen and a living room with sweeping views of the Air Force Academy and the mountains.
The bedrooms and the bathrooms are vast and airy.
The decor is tasteful, with artistic highlights.
The home is immaculate, clean and well taken care of.
We enjoyed more then pleasant dinners and soulful conversations on the large deck, comfortably seated and surrounded by hummingbirds, pine treas, beautiful flowers in containers and views of the mountains.
Overall, this is a luxurious property. It is more beautiful in reality compared to the pictures.
The owners are delightful people. They were welcoming and beyond accommodating. Our stay was just wonderful and we hope to return many more times.

Comfortable location !
We were looking for a house with a view!!
Three bedrooms and two baths. We wanted our two girls in their mid 20’s to have their own space when we came back from hiking etc.. it was perfect for that. All three rooms were comfortable. The kitchen was just like home, anything you needed and a washer and dryer. The deck was wonderful! We spent time relaxing and watching all the hummingbirds. We would recommend Sharon and Larry’s home 100%.
We didn’t know anything about Colorado so we looked for what we knew we wanted first, the house. I do have to say it’s 30 minutes to an hour from the tourist locations like pikes peak, royal gorge .. but very much what we wanted.

Fantastic home, wonderful hosts
What a lovely home! Spacious, well decorated, very clean and in an excellent neighborhood. We could not have been more pleased with our decision to stay here while visiting the area. Easy drive to Colorado Springs to see the sights, but away from the congestion of that area during tourist season. Sharon and Larry were so very thoughtful and excellent with communication. Sharon made the home welcoming for our young travelers by placing age appropriate toys throughout the house. I can't say enough about the top notch experience we had here. Wonderful retreat!
We stayed here for 5 nights while we moved into our house in a nearby neighborhood. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck and have dinner after a long day of unpacking boxes. The views are beautiful and the house is very comfortable. Our kids loved all the toys and had fun exploring outside. This house is a perfect retreat and the hosts are very responsive and friendly. We're excited to have new neighbors!

A perfect stay!
My husband and I were privileged to have spent a month in Sharon and Larry’s beautiful home, summer 2017. We had rented the previous August in Lake Tahoe through VRBO and we didn’t think that we could find a home anywhere near as nice but we were so wrong. Sharron and Larry’s home exceeded our expectations and then some. The rooms are spacious with gorgeous views and beautifully appointed. There were so many “little touches” that truly made our visit memorable. The attractions and activities are all nearby so the travel time was very manageable. Of all the wonderful amenities, the biggest treat was getting to meet Sharon and Larry. They are amazingly warm and compassionate people who go out of their way to insure that you have a fantastic visit. Anyone considering this home should definitely book. We could not have been happier!

Beautiful Home with a beautiful view!
Spent a wonderful week in this very nice home! We didn't want to leave. The views from the patio are stunning. This home is very special, from the floors, furniture, kitchen, bedrooms, etc... Fully stocked kitchen with every you can think of from silverware, spices, plates, glasses. Location is fantastic and the neighborhood is very quiet. Awesome place some for some quality R&R. Even had a few deer walk up to the house a couple of times. Colorado Springs is such a nice place with plenty of things to do. We will be back!

Quiet, roomy and picturesque
Our family of 6 adults enjoyed a wonderful week in this beautiful home. We had an awesome view of the mountains while being only minutes from groceries and shopping. Only a 30 min drive to Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. The large kitchen is stocked with every conceivable gadget, the beds are comfy, and there's plenty of seating for playing games around the dining room table or watching a movie in the family room. The hot tub is old and water never above lukewarm, but otherwise everything was as described and we would wholeheartedly recommend.

Colorado Vacation Home
This home is spacious and warm. The mountain views are gorgeous. I love how you don't feel the hustle of the city but a 30 minute drive and you are in many of the popular tourist locations. The Betrams are very accommodating and easy to work with. Wonderful experience!

Awesome location and home!
The house was perfect for USAFA graduation! We were so close to everything and the house was a perfect location to relax and share filter time. The home is well stocked for cooking and the accomodations were so comfortable. Sharon and Larry were so attentive to our needs and wonderful hosts. We would definitely recommend the house and hosts!

We had a wonderful stay in Monument CO. The Bertram's home was better than advertised. Our kids especially loved playing in the tree house. A beautiful home with an amazing view.

Fabulous!
This was our third USAFA Parent's Weekend to stay at the same house. I can not imagine a better home away from home. Sharon goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. The house is clean and there is a book that answers all possible questions. She even has brochures on local attractions. We have really enjoyed the Monument area, as well. It is close to campus and yet you feel like you are away from it all..... So Beautiful!

Lovely home with a stunning view
This house is not only beautifully furnished, clean and very well equipped, it is comfortable and well designed. We stayed here in July with our daughter, son in law and two granddaughters (1 and 3 years old). The children loved the toys, books and especially the playhouse. Larry and Sharon were very helpful and supplied us with a pack and play for the baby to sleep in as well as a high chair. We had a wonderful time visiting the area attractions but we particularly enjoyed the time we spent relaxing in this house, soaking in the beautiful view from the living area and deck. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

Everything we needed!
My family really enjoyed staying in this home for our vacation. We have done VRBO several times and the owners of this property provided much more to us as guests than in previous rentals. From paper goods, shampoo, to coffee, the owners provided so much! It was nice to not worry about making a large grocery store purchase and definitely saved us time and money. The property is very beautiful and comfortable but be prepared for lots of stairs because the house has multi-levels inside. The home is in a lovely area and we saw a total of three deer when we were driving out of the spacious neighborhood. We would highly recommend this vacation home rental!

It was our home away from home. House was comfortable retreat after spending our day visiting all of the beautiful sights in and around Colorado Springs. Homeowners made sure our visit was five star!!

We stayed in this home for over a week and loved every single day! The kids loved exploring in the trees, we all loved the beautiful house itself, the wonderful views of the mountains, the deer that would come walking thru the area (my husband even saw a fox one day!) and the quietness of the neighborhood. We would stay in this house over and over again. Thank you to the owners who were so so kind to us and our kids.

A wonderful home with a spectacular view. Near USAFA north gate, so perfect for Academy Activities. Helpful owner, immaculate and well maintained. Would rent again.

The only thing negative about this home is that you will have to leave it at the end of your visit. The owners have very successfully created an atmosphere that will leave you with the feeling of not only having visited Colorado but having Colorado all around you...day and night. You won't be able to sleep late...the desire to get up with the sun and enjoy the amazing panoramic views and fresh air will be priority. Take time to just sit and relax in this home and take it all in before you venture out to explore all Colorado has to offer. You will have to bribe the kids to get them to leave the play house.
