The location is excellent for the train station and the City centre. Vas, the host was extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I'd highly recommend this host.
It's a shame there is no breakfast option, but there are plenty of local options.

Great place to stay in York, only 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Vas and his wife are lovely and very helpful. Everything is very clean and comfortable. Great value for money as well. We would happily stay here again.

Really good location with a 5-10 min walk into town. There are a few rooms, each has a private lock, our room and bathroom was clean and spacious. Easy to get to and was greeted on arrival and hosts were accommodating.
If the other guests are loud you will hear it as there is not much soundproofing.

Excellent location for visiting York. We parked our car outside of York using JustPark which was convenient then walked to our lodging. Vas’ York House is a short walk from the medieval york walls. Highly recommend this place.

Location, it's very close to the town centre and the train station. Vas and his wife are very nice and talkative. They offered us some fruit and coffee. Room, shared bathroom and toilet are well maintained and clean.
Nothing really, everything was fine. Just note it's a house so there is no lift to go up to the second floor :)
