Deer Lake Getaway - private dock, fire pit and a hot tub!
Venez profiter d'un séjour sur l'île de Whidbey, directement sur Deer Lake. Les trois chambres sont à l'étage. Une chambre avec un lit queen qui surplombe le lac, une grande chambre «enfants» avec un lit double et un lit jumeau et une grande suite parentale avec un lit King size. La suite principale a sa propre terrasse donnant sur le lac, une magnifique baignoire avec vue dans sa propre salle de bain et une télévision. Il y a une deuxième salle de bain complète partagée par les deux autres chambres.
Le rez-de-chaussée a une grande cuisine et salle à manger qui mène à la terrasse donnant sur le lac. La cuisine est assez spacieuse et bien équipée pour préparer les repas. Il y a une salle de bain avec douche au rez-de-chaussée et laveuse et sécheuse pleine grandeur.
Le salon a de grandes fenêtres pour profiter de la belle vue sur le lac. La télévision et le système stéréo sont dans la tanière avec une grande collection de films, de jeux et de livres pour toute la famille. Nous avons aussi des haut-parleurs sur le pont!

This house was perfect for a family getaway! The lake was so peaceful and serene. The kitchen sink overlooked the water for inspiring views and cool breeze which made spending time in the kitchen fun. I loved eating out on the porch overlooking the lake. The balcony off the master bedroom was great for enjoying a little quiet time away from the kids. It was ideal for this waterlover and family. The kids had a blast on the paddle boards! I really appreciated the provided paddle boards as we could only fit one in the car by the time everything else was packed. One day I'd love to retire to a home like this! Local activities were plentiful! We explored the state parks on the island, visited the navy bases to watch the planes. The big hit was the Blue Fox Drive-in. Langley was charming. I've been recommending it to friends who are looking for a low-key family vacation not too far from home. I've heard wonderful things about Pickles Deli, but unfortunately when we tried to visit on our way home, it was closed. We'll just have to go back again!

The lake house was fantastic, better than expected, and they are great hosts. We love Whidbey and it was nice to spend time on the lake and at the ocean out at Double Bluff. My only complaint is we didnt catch any fish but we have to take blame for that.

We travelled to Whidbey to attend a wedding. This home was perfect for the 6 of us during our stay. Beautiful views each morning and convenient location close to shopping. Wedding was at Dancing Fish Vineyard only 15 minutes away. Comfortable beds, 3 bathrooms in this great accommodation. Thank you so much.

Beautiful location, close to the amazing grocery store the goose. There's shopping and restaurants in Langley. A 7 minute drive to the Clinton to Mukilteo Ferry. A nice spot for day trips up to all the Whidbey Island attractions.
The house is comfortable, nice beds with good pillows and fluffy comforters, a huge *completely* stocked kitchen. Every soap in the house is high quality fully stocked bathrooms, washing machine/dryer, and dishwasher.
The dock is great, we spent a lot of time playing basketball and looking at the view. Comfy couches.
Fully stocked huge kitchen, dog and kid friendly. Enclosed area for your dog. Huge blackberry bush.

What a great lake house! We were five adults and a small dog with ample room and lots of space! Exactly as pictured. Whenever we had a question Patti responded quickly and she was so nice! Perfectly located between the ferry dock and Langley. Kitchen is stocked with all cooking equipment but bring your own condiments and cooking oil. The master bedroom mattress is on the softer side and is great for side sleepers. I’m one of the few who sleep on their back so it was uncomfortable for me, but nothing a soak in the hot tub wouldn’t fix!

We enjoyed staying at this property! The 81 acre lake was a wonderful escape for my guys using the kayaks to fish. We also did a lot of day trips to Langley, Port Townsend, Fort Casey and other beaches in the area.

Relaxing Stay
The end-of-the-road location of this rental makes it an inviting respite from a busy life. Our weather improved during the week and we were able to thoroughly enjoy the deck overlooking the lake. Beds were very comfortable and the 3rd bath and high end laundry facilities were appreciated. This property easily met all of our needs on this quiet island.

Beautiful and kind
The views were amazing while soaking in the hot tub on the lake. We were in town for work so we were not able to fully experience the area but we were greeted by the host promptly and met with a level of kindness that knows no equal. I would recommend this hideaway to anyone.

This house is amazing.
We loved the spacious rooms, the deck was perfect and the hot tub was great. They had everything we needed to cook, rest, relax, pick blackberries and it was so centrally located; a short drive to a store, wineries, nurseries, and Langley for restaurants.

Our fifth summer at the lake house
This was our fifth summer at the lake house. Our family keeps going to the house because of good fishing and swimming lake access, clean house, and good communication with owners. We caught large mouth bass from the dock and rainbow trout from the row boat. The hot tub was a plus.

Lovely Lake
Nice home with great view/deck/hot tub. Comfortable beds & well stocked kitchen. Good location - close to Mukilteo Ferry terminal. Nice quiet lake. We used our paddle boards off the private dock on the property. Whidbey Island is a gem. We enjoyed hikes with stunning scenery everywhere we went.

Great retreat
The location was super convenient to the ferry. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen well stocked with things needed to cook. We had hoped to fish but missed that fishing didn’t open on the lake until April 24th. We still enjoyed our time gazing at the lake and using it as a base for day trips. We wish the window coverings were a little more substantial to keep the light out for our kids to stay asleep and also provide privacy in the bathrooms. Overall, a great stay!

A few girlfriends and I stayed together at this relaxing Whidbey property. We were happy with the cleanliness of the whole house and the full kitchen. The lower backyard has a firepit, and dock/water access. It is so close to the ferry, and a short drive to nearby Langley where we had delicious choices of lunch & dinner (take-out). We highly recommend for a getaway trip. - Host was prompt to respond via email (usually 24-48 hours)- Dock access was a plus. There is a row boat with paddles- Hot Tub was clean and the temperature got up to 103 degrees fahrenheit. - Towels were provided, both bath & hot tub towels- Ample amount of space to lounge, living room has remote-controlled fire, lots of natural lighting throughout the home.- We will be back! A Relaxing Lakeside Retreat - Great Value!
We had a wonderful stay at the Deer Lake house on Whidbey Island. Nearly every room had a beautiful view of the lake and the wildlife. It was so relaxing. Being that this is the time of Covid, we came prepared to stay at the house most of the time for the six days that we were there. We brought all our own food, kayaks, etc. This house is very suited for a retreat during a pandemic. We all agreed that the house was FAR nicer than it had appeared in the pictures in VRBO. The kitchen had been remodeled since the photos were taken, and it was really quite lovely. We enjoyed having a gas stove and electric oven...the best combo! The kitchen was truly fully equipped with all pots and pans, blender, utensils, spices, teas, etc. In addition to a living room with gorgeous lake views, there is a TV room that is equipped with games, DVD’s, all the streaming services, etc. The outdoor hot tub was great, and private. The beds were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were well stocked with body wash, shampoo, etc. There is a combo laundry room/bathroom on the main level. We appreciated being able to wash our clothes after kayaking on the lake in the rain! The property management team was very responsive to any questions that we had. Best still, the rates were very affordable for a waterfront house. Would stay there again in a heartbeat, and would heartily recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat on Whidbey Island!

Our stay at the lake!
We had an amazing time at the lake. The house was perfect for our family's needs. We had room to spread out if needed and room to all fit around the dining table for nightly family games. The view of the lake from the deck was gorgeous and we spent a lot of time hanging out there. We also loved playing in the lake. We brought our paddle boards and spent many mornings paddling the lake and watching the sun come up. We also fished, swam and relaxed on the dock. We would love to make this a yearly family getaway!!
