The things I liked on the holiday-The setting over looking a bay was beautiful. Rooms could do with serious updating -the beds and pillows are comfortable.

The service was really bad.My Mum and sister had 2 really serious falls in their hotel room due to slippy and hazardous floors. My Mum suffered a head injury,on the same floor which my sister slipped on whilst getting my Mum ready for the hospital -she slipped and fell and cut the back of her head which bled profusely and required treatment to stop the bleeding and also stitches to seal the wound.My Mum had to go by Ambulance to the hospital for an urgent brain scan. On our way back to the hotel-we received a call from the hotel to ask how we were. Not once did they ask my Mum how she was feeling -her head and side face were so badly bruised and swollen, when she returned to the hotel. We were half way through the holiday-For the rest of the week, nobody from management checked on her-despite the accident happening on the ridiculously slippy floors in their hotel room. My Mum was in too much pain to make a complaint. The food was very average, most people left at night to eat in town. The service was slow, staff were not helpful, also there was not enough staff on. We asked for laundry bags 4 days in a row, non arrived. There was queues at bar, only one person on duty-no table service.The pool is beside a very noisy road. You have go down a lot of steps to the beach-not pleasant for young kids and parents with buggies, also elderly people. It just simply is not a 5 star Hotel, we have gone to Crete for the last 4 years in a row as it suits our family -we have stayed in brilliant 5 star all Inclusive's, nothing would compare with this experience, it was so disapointing on so many levels. . The reviews on here are quite misleading. Other families who we made friends with on Holiday also complained about the service and the food.Also they meals are served at strict times-if you appear for example after 2.3opm for lunch -there is no food available. The All inclusive deal ends at 11pm sharp. We have not encountered this before either.

Privates Pool konnte nicht genutzt werden, da es Enee Oktober nicht beheizt wird, Zimmer wird trotzdem zum selber Preis vermietet. Nur mit grossem Nachdruck konnte mit dem Manager eine Zimmeränderung vorgenommen werden. Unsere Kinder wurden in der Nacht plötzlich krank mit Magen-Darm und und wurde keine neue Decke zur Verfügung gestellt - es gibt kein Service dazu- in einem 5+ Sterne Hotel, sehr fragwürdig. Das Personal ist nicht oder aufgesetzt freundlich, aber überhaupt nicht zuvorkommend, bis wir stark reklamiert hatten über diesse Punkte und danach waren plötzlich alle freundlich. Das Buffet ist sehr mager und von schlechter Qualität. Wir haben eine WC-rolle für 4 Personen pro Tag erhalten. Wasser durfte man fürs Zimmer nur von der Bar beziehen und nicht direkt im Restaurant wo man eh gerade gegesseb hatte. Die Sauberkeit hält sich ebenfalls in Grenzen. Nur Dank der Hilfe von Booking wurde der Aufenthalt überhaupt noch einigermasseb in Ordnung.

Вай Фай ловит только в ресторане, дальше на территории работает плохо. Еда в ресторане однообразная , уже на второй день надоедает одно и тоже . Матрасы очень грязные которые у бассейна . Территория пляжа и у бассейна не убирается , бокалы и бычки везде .

- Got a free upgrade to all-inclusive which was an absolute delight and stated the holiday off wonderfully - Beautiful building, kept very clean - Great location, very near the town of Agios Nikolaos - The private beaches were lovely and no issues finding a sunbed as long as you’re there at a decent time, but often the loungers were all taken - Breakfast buffet was amazing, and there was a good selection of gluten-free for my celiac partner across all buffets - Desserts were top notch, very big selection of cakes, ice cream and fruit - Some of the A La Carte restaurants we tried (Kafenion and Mezedaki) were delicious and very romantic - The entertainment most nights was enjoyable, especially the Greek dance show and the live music - The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and always happy to help - The all-inclusive drinks selection was decent, the bar staff were very friendly and if you ask for a tequila and coke it will be almost half and half, very lethal!

- Our room wasn’t soundproofed at all. We were at the end of a long corridor and could hear every single door slam and child scream in the corridor. We could also hear the room above us quite clearly, and they would drag their chairs around early and late which woke us up constantly, quite frustrating at times - The lunch and dinner buffets weren’t quite up to par with the breakfast one - One of the A La Carte restaurants (Bay Grill) had a disappointing menu and was below par quality wise - By the end of the holiday me and my partner had a couple of stomach issues, couldn’t say what caused it but was frustrating as we only ate in the hotel so must have been something we ate - One day we had the door hanger set to “do not disturb” and our room was still cleaned, not major but we didn’t lock up our valuables that day and we would have been liable if something went missing

Only the location is good. Breakfast and food is really bad. There aren’t any enough options. We are in Mediterranean and there is only one kind low quality tomato. No greens in breakfast.

The property is not clean. All the furnitures are low quality and cheap. There aren’t enough personel to keep the hotel clean and help people. This hotel is not a 5 star hotel. The pricing policy is very unfair. I booked my room for 6 days. And I suggested my friend and he booked 2 months later than me. And he paid 1500 euros less. He is all inclusive and I am breakfast only. Do not book early. They couldn’t sell all the rooms. And the hotel is making unfair discounts.

Location is good. Staff on reception is very responsive (we got room upgrade, though I'm not sure it was a better option - I booked the room with sea view in the main building, while should cross the road to reach my villa....), beach bar staff - also. Sea is beautiful. We also were given a complimentary lunch before departure.

Hotel is really tired, beach facilities require renovation. Food quality in main restaurant is very average, lots of bread, but lack of other dishes, service - lazy, Coffee & wine - very average quality as well. Crete restaurant is good, nice staff there, but no sparking wine, for example, there was only the same ugly wine, as in the main restaurant, though sparking wine existed in the beach bar. It was an unpleasant smell of bad food in the restaurant and lack of air condition. Beach: it's very difficult to find a shadow, umbrellas are small, beach beds - very heavy, we have to hunt for clean new beach towels. Resume: not the 5 star hotel indeed, especially for such price.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the Wyndham Grand Crete Mirabello Bay. It was absolute paradise! Not only did we receive a room upgrade which meant our room had a jetted pool and was a suite, my partner unfortunately felt unwell on our last day and the staff kindly let us check out at 6pm so he could rest - I can’t thank them enough. The food was delicious and the cocktails were even more delicious! The staff couldn’t do enough for you and were so friendly. The beach and pools were beautiful and relaxing to sit by. I can’t recommend this hotel more!

There are quite a few steps and it was quite a walk to the main restaurant from our room. This really wasn’t an issue though.

Close to Agios Nikolaos for bars, shops and restaurants (€7 euro taxi away), private resort beach with cabanas included, all inclusive package was wonderful and food was delicious, friendly and helpful staff, updated rooms with good views of the bay.

I recently stayed at the new hotel, but my experience was slightly disappointing. The cabanas, while stylish, lacked sufficient curtains for all guests. Some guests curtains were confiscated to share due to a shortage, while others were not. This inconsistent policy caused friction among guests and staff which staff admitted was an ongoing issue because management refuses to order more. Additionally, the staff's loud, frequent announcements for “Aqua Gym”, screamed from the balcony, disrupted the peaceful beach environment, making it difficult for guests to relax or nap. Furthermore, my TV was non-functional throughout my stay, stuck on the hotel promo video and turning on by itself in the middle of the night, disrupting my sleep. For a hotel that markets itself as high-end, these issues highlight significant management failures and detract from the overall guest experience. Immediate attention is needed to meet the standards the hotel claims to uphold.
