The Cuckoo's nest was everything we could have asked for. It was a lovely, clean home with easy access to all that Doolin has to offer. Best stop of our Ireland trip by far! Thank you Patrick!

The house was spotless and beautifully furnished, very, very charming yet contemporary at the same time. The views were nice and the location could not have been better for walking to the main street or driving a very short distance to the pier. Patrick, our host was very responsive and easy to reach. The home had everything we needed and I can’t stress enough how lovely and clean it was. Loved everything about it!

The Cuckoo’s Nest was the most beautiful, peaceful house you could stay at to explore Doolin and surrounding areas. Every possible thing you would need was in the house. Three nights was not long enough!

The property was maintained to a very high standard. It was more like a home from home, rather than a holiday rental. Patrick came to meet us and introduced us to Lilly the horse in the back garden. We made ourselves very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cockoos Nest.

We loved our stay and would definitely come back to Doolin. Patrick was a great host and answered our questions quickly. The house is close to restaurants and local activities. We recommend Ivy Cottage - had breakfast and dinner. We also ate at Gus O’Connors and McGanns. Both were really good.

Very comfortable house with everything you need for your stay. Easy drive to Cliffs of Moher and The Burren. Literally just down the hill from Gus O’Connors, where we spent several evenings. Patrick was a gracious host and made everything very easy for us.

Very clean house, spacious kitchen and a cosy sitting room. Gas stove heats the house well. Some nice walks to do nearby.

We enjoyed our stay at the house just a short walk to pubs and shops. We were about a 15 minute walk to the pier to catch a ferry to the Aran Islands.

The location is great. Walking distance to pubs and beginning of Cliffs of moher walk. Go to grocery for staples before u get into town as there is not a grocery store near by. They have a great washer and dryer and supply laundry pods. It was a wonderful place. Once we checked in Patrick was easy to get in touch with when we needed him

You will love your stay at the Cockoo's Nest. Ultra clean, ultra modern. I could easily live there! Great showers and very quiet. A short walk to lower Doolin and Gus O'Conner's. Pier is a bit of a walk but still close by. If I stay in Doolin again, it will be at the Coolio's Nest!

This cottage was clean, modern and yet charming. Fabulous location where you can walk to any local pub, or the pier or the Cliffs of Moher. Patrick brought his mare Lily to “mow” the grass and we enjoyed her very much. The wifi works but there’s not a lot of data but you’re not there to surf the net so it wasn’t a big deal for us. We had 4 adults and everyone was comfortable. Would stay here again for sure. Thx Patrick :)

Suggest a door from dining area to 2 bedroom area as it it can be noisy in these bedrooms when people are in the kitchen. Other than that absolutely excellent.

We were a group of three couples and the Cuckoo's Nest provided perfect accommodations for us all. It was accurately depicted, clean and conveniently located. Pubs and shops are within easy walking distance and the ferry to the Aran Islands is just a short drive down the road. Our host provided excellent hospitality and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We would stay there again, only longer if we could!

An outstanding property and one that we would not hesitate to use again. Great location in the village. For sightseeing it is close to many interesting and scenic areas and suitable for those who like to hike/walk or drive. Patrick was a gracious and friendly host. We were a party of 6 and while there were lots of lovely places to eat in the area we chose to cook most nights and found the kitchen very easy to use. All in all a lovely place to stay.

Perfect location, easy to walk to Fisher Street. Great size for our family. Kitchen was a wonderful cozy spot to start and end our days. Laundry room was a great amenity. View up in to the hills was relaxing and overall felt like home.

My husband and I spent a week in this cute cottage and absolutely loved it, we were in Ireland for nearly 4 weeks and this was by far our favorite accommodation. The house is newly renovated with 3 bedrooms, 2 with en-suite baths and a large stand alone bath with a tub and shower. We had two groups of friends join us at different times for a few days and there was more than enough room for everyone. The location in Doolin can not be better, walking distance to everything including the Cliffs of Moher via the stunning Cliff Walk. The house has a very well equipped kitchen, a laundry room with washer and dryer and a lovely sitting room with very comfortable furnishings. Patrick was quick to respond to any questions and concerns, he lives very nearby and was always available if needed. I highly recommend the Cuckoo’s Nest for your holiday in Ireland!

We stayed in this beautiful place June 4th through to June 7th, 2018. The accommodation was well appointed, very clean and wonderfully furnished. The host, Pat, was excellent at meeting up with us and discussing the place and nearby attractions. We enjoyed our stay at the Cuckoo's Nest in Doolin very much and would not hesitate to return to this magical place. This was by far our fav rental in Ireland. Prime location. Cozy. Charming. Comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen and lovely host. Highly recommend.

The cottage is beautiful. Spacious. Geat location in the heart of Doolin. The cliffs, the Burren and the Aran Islands all all near by. Short walk to O'Conner's pub for traditional Irish music.

We loved the Cuckoo’s Nest. Owners are great, very responsive, and live close by if you have any problems. In my travels, kitchen was more equipped than others that I have seen. Tea, coffee, pasta was left in panty which I like because I always try to cook a meal or two when on the road using fresh local ingredients. Usually you are lucky to find salt and pepper. Nearest town to get provisions is 20 minutes away in Ennistimon where there is a supermarket, butcher, produce, and whatever you may need. I am a chef and I pack a good pan and a knife in my suitcase when I travel but it wasn’t need here. Halogen stove and oven. The linens were top of the line. Queen size beds were a treat. Key point. This is set up like someone’s home and not just a rental. Definitely worth while. Bonus is that you are no more than 100 meters from the nearest pub. WiFi is spotty but who cares. Remember you are in Doolin.

Pat’s house is absolutely breathtaking and one of my favorite home rentals. The location is exactly as described - very easy to access pubs for trad music, shops for souvenirs, and the pier to go the Aran Islands! We had a car and would still recommend it. We didn’t get a chance to meet the owners, but sincerely hope to get to return to this beautiful town and house. As a side note, definitely check out Doolin Cave! A highlight of our trip!!!
