Wonderful first time experience in San Pedro and particularly at Paradise Villas. Melissa was extremely responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay at her condo again or at any other Paradise Villa properties which are very conveniently located.

This is an amazing property! Best location in San Pedro, beautifully landscaped grounds with a nicely shaded pool, just about five steps to the beach and plenty of restaurants and tour boats. Sweet property with a few small condos, each with golf cart parking and front patio/ deck. Really the best place you could imagine, just steps to groceries and laundry service. Property is half long term residents, half short term rentals. Quiet and welcoming. Cleaning service every three days, 24 hour security. The unit itself needs serious updating. Everything you need is there, it’s just shabby and rundown. Lighting, electric and kitchen supplies could be improved. But with the location and outdoor beauty, it’s a great value. Would stay again!

We love having a condo in places we go. This condo was a perfect location for us near the downtown area. Melissa was a great host taking very good care of us! We would definitely come back here.

Overall the property served our purpose. The grounds are very nice, the pool was nice. The condo was sufficient, not fancy but clean. It is close to several restaurants and a grocery store close by. Great location. Bed was comfortable.

We rented the one bedroom villa and had a view of the pool. The Palapa Bat was right next to the villa as well as many other restaurants and shops within walking distance. We rented a golf cart for the week but you can walk to many places. I would definitely recommend a trip to Secret Beach. The water was beautiful and it was less windy on the west side of the island.

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. It really is an oasis on the edge of busy San Pedro. Everything is as pictured. The community is private and well maintained. Our apartment was great and just as shown. Melissa was amazing with her super fast response to every question and she had great recommendations and information. We loved Elvi’s restaurant so much that we ate there many times. A short walk from our room, maybe 5 minutes. I highly recommend this place and Melissa’s wonderful help. We also had a great trip to Hol Chan and Reef Adventures was good. Thanks Melissa.

Our stay was great. Close to bars, restaurants, shops, groceries, things to do. Nice area with lots of palms, plants, and flowers. Staff were friendly. The unit we had could use a bit of updating and it was lacking a few basics. Dishes were old, scratched, and broken. Spatula broke 1st time we used it. The porch furniture was broken and mended poorly. Lighting inside was dark—need brighter bulbs. Fridge runs very loud—needs new compressor. No propane in the grill.

Quiet location right in town and on the beach. Short walk to everything you need. Melissa was very accommodating.

I highly recommend booking this property. Location is right in the center of town and the property is absolutely beautiful. The property and the pool are well kept. The condo is very clean and plenty of room for two. This was our second stay and Melissa, the owner is the best. We can't wait to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo in Dan Pedro. It was super clean and had everything we needed. Paradise Villas are in the best location on the beach in a San Pedro with everything you need just outside your door. This condo is on the lower level and has quite a bit more room than the upper level ones. It also had a spacious front patio with a garden view. Lots of great beach and town bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Check in and out was easy and Ms Nellie and her management team were great! Highly recommended!

This is our 2nd stay in Melissa's condo Stayed 10 days. Everything I said in Aug 2018 review still stands. Condo is in an excellent location of San Pedro. All who work for and around condo are friendly and hard working. Ground and pool are immaculate. Having daily maid service is a bonus when staying in a condo. People who live and owners who stay periodically are so friendly and wonderful resources about island life. All on the island welcome you as family and tell you all th local places to eat. Aug is slow season so nothing is crowded Cant wait to return next Aug

These condos are in a great location if you want to experience San Pedro night life, have easy access to snorkel/dive tours, and a great selection of bars and restaurants. It was a little too “in the thick of it” for our preferences. Pros: The pool looked clean and nice and the grounds were very pretty. The ac was amazing! We could walk to lots of fun bars. And we were right there for Lobster Fest which was fun. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to our needs, helped us get rides to and from airport and water taxi. WiFi was fast and reliable. Tv’s worked and the porch area was nice. Cons: While the property is right on the beach, many/most of the units don’t face the beach, and if you’ve read much about San Pedro, you know that (in town anyway) the beach is more like busy street. Paradise Villas does have a couple of lounge chairs set out near the beach, but they’re behind a gate and the view/ambiance isn’t great. The apartments themselves were sparsely stocked. The shower was dingy and the water had a funny smell - this could just be common to all the water on the island. The bed was not comfortable. There was essentially no natural light in the unit we stayed in. There was a construction crew working right next to us the whole 3 days we were there. We had to pay $5 BZ and wait for a for a jug of drinking water to be brought to our room - like why not just include it? We booked this place on the fly (our fault really), but there were similarly priced properties farther out of town, which would require you to rent a golf cart to drive in and out of town. We ended up doing that anyway because we wanted to head north and check out Secret Beach. And walking in the city is a little uncomfortable because of the heat and the busy roads. All that is to say that if you’re looking for a place to crash for relatively cheap - this place is fine. If you are looking for beautiful views and luxury, you might want to look farther north on Ambergris Caye.

We loved the condo so much! It was the perfect location, and it was great having a private pool and lounge area AND a dock. The condo was perfect and exactly what we needed! Thank you for having us!

If you are looking for a clean property with a perfect location then look no further. The villa we stayed in, 7A, was clean, comfortable, and in the middle of everything! We felt very safe and an issue that arose was taken care of immediately. The only down side was that the bed was very squeaky. Other than that I could not recommend this villa more. Thank you for the home away from home feeling!

My family and I (two adults, two kids ages 3 years & 11 months) stayed at Paradise Villas for one week and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The condo was clean, air conditioned & safe, and you can’t beat the location - you’re close to everything you may need, including the beach & markets. The staff are very kind & helpful, and the complex is maintained beautifully. We rented a golf cart which in our opinion was essential in getting around as a family on the island - there’s plenty to do, and lots of great spots to eat! Some suggestions would be The Coffee Bar; Elvi’s Kitchen; Sandbar; and The Truck Stop. Some fun things to do on the island include snorkelling at Shark Ray Alley, Secret Beach, and exploring downtown! Tropic Air was very accommodating in arranging flights from Belize City to San Pedro, and then inland after our week on the island. There was laundry service available, however we found it easier to take in ourselves - the laundromat is right across the street & you are able to get your laundry back even the same day if you get it there in the am - the staff at Paradise Villas have a 2 day turnaround. The only downside to our condo (7A) was the noisy dogs in the home behind the unit - unfortunately they tend to bark a lot throughout the night. Overall, we would recommend staying at Paradise Villas! A little quiet oasis in the busy downtown area. AB, Canada

We use vacation rentals almost everywhere we go worldwide. Sometimes just the two of us or sometimes our entire family which now consists of 15. So we depend on these reviews and appreciate them. We have been to Belize before and this was our first stay in San Pedro. If you are looking for the best stay for a very reasonable price....look no further! It's not a 5 star-bathrobe resort, but very, very good. Especially if you're on a budget. From start to finish, planning to staying, this was a very positive experience for us and I would definitely recommend it. My husband and I stayed in 7A for 5 nights at the end of March. Melissa was a pleasure to work with and Aidan was so accommodating. Absolutely no worries!!!! We were provided with airport transportation (to and from). Greeted with a hug. Briefed on everything we needed to know about the condo and area. Golf cart rental made easy. Excursion arrangements just across from the entrance. We were checked on daily to see if we needed ANYTHING. Housekeeping daily. Beautiful-pristine grounds. Security guard at night (though we felt totally safe anyway). Waterfront access just steps and a gate away. Grocery and souvenir options all over within a short walk. What more could we ask for? Nothing, really. All you have to do is ask. The condo is well appointed, clean and comfortable for just the two of us. My ONLY complaint would be the dogs out the back next door that barked a lot at night which would wake up my husband (I wear earplugs). This is at fault of the owner. Finally, the bed frame could use a little WD40, which I'm sure if we would have asked, probably would have been provided. Rest assured, you cannot go wrong. We enjoyed our stay! It was everything we expected and needed. The grounds are kept clean and the pool area is perfect to relax at. The beach area/pier is right out front with several bars and restaurants to walk to. The grocery store is just down the block. Cleaning service each day with fresh towels ect. We made good use of the patio with the gas grill and adirondack chairs, the kitchen also has all the utensils and pots/pans you'll need. On top of all that included with our stay was transportation to and from the airport that Melissa set up for us. There are dogs in the area so we did notice some barking in the morning but we are early risers and this never bothered us. We experienced the same thing in Placencia and found that there are several dogs in both areas so I think it comes with the area unless you stay at a larger resort. We would stay here again, this is a great place to stay!

My daughter and husband spent five days enjoying Melissa’s villa. They were picked up at the airport in San Pedro and the fact that. Y daughter was delayed by a day was not a problem. The villa was beautifully appointed, very comfortable, and had everything they needed. Melissa was on site and gave recommendations where to eat, etc. She was very accommodating. The dive shop recommended by Melissa was right next to the villas and did a wonderful job. The staff kept the grounds and the condo immaculate and would help coordinate any activities desired. The villas are right in the heart of town so you can walk almost anywhere. This allowed them to enjoy the local grocery, fruit stand, and restaurants. Hope to enjoy the villa with them next time!
