Maru is the best host possible in Cancún

The owner was super nice and welcoming. There was filtered water and some fresh fruit. She also gave us tips to where to go swimming (Playa Chac Mool). The location is great, not far from the airport and from that public beach.

The room was quite hot but there was a fan so quite ok. It’s in a residential area so you can hear the neighbors doing all sort of things throughout the night and dogs barking but it is a safe area.

Great host! She was very helpfull when we stayed there and when we get robbed last day of our holiday. Thanks so much for everything.

The room is comfterble and cozy. The host is lovley.

The location is far from everything. Toilet and shower in different floor. The room is in a house of family, its not a hostel/hotel.

Such a comfortable place to stay at. Maru was great host and helped us with information and suggestions. Place was super clean. We enjojed the beautifull and lushes garden a lot. Great value.

I like Casa's convenient location and safe gated neighborhood. It's run by a lovely host who offered to collect me from the airport. I stayed for two days to relax after jetlag before going to explore the rest of Yucatan.

We needed to stay one night in Cancun as we had a very early flight out. The location was quiet and in a secure street. There were a few good restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were clean and our host Maru was friendly, spoke beautiful English and was very helpful. For a reasonable charge she took us from her home to the airport at 4:00am, which was greatly appreciated.

Our bathroom was on the ground floor and our room was one floor up. Not a big problem for us, but may be a problem for elderly guests.

Very friendly and helpful host who offers a pick up from & to the airport as well as gave us a lot of tips about the local area. Clean and nice accommodation, where Maru also lives.

This place has character and has a very chill vibe to it… so much natural light during the day and the beautiful verde garden had Christmas lights all around… the owner Maru is a beautiful lady!!! She even took care of dinner for us upon request… our flight landed at night and she was such an amazing host! We spend so much time talking about Mexican food and culture! it was highly enlightening… she also took us to the super market because we needed some stuff… and then dropped us off to the resort… yup she offer pick and drop from and to the airport or resort to! and she her rates are very economical!!!

it was Christmas eve when we landed… she had her family over… she had already asked us if we were gonna be ok with that… we had no issue… In fact… we even sang songs and enjoyed a beautiful firework session with her family. I would go back for many many reason! the house is in a safe gated neighbourhood… there is a gate keeper 24/7 and ask for Maru at the gate… its easier that way… the gate keeper will guide u through. small shops outside and one 24/7 store too. this was was 18 mins from the airport in the city and the city is safe and so so clean! impressive!!!

a bit difficult to find. also just for clarification, its a house where a woman called maru lives and she has a spare room where she offers accommodation for guests. for a short stay it’s absolutely fine

Maru was execeptionally welcoming and helpful with my whole stay! Not only does she provide valuable advice but also she was a great person to have a conversation with (she also has a really good English so that helps a lot). The room was perfectly clean, the neighborhood was safe, the house is cute and charming and I love all the plants outside and in the little courtyard! If I was to visit Cancún again, I would definitely want to spend more time at her place and in her company!

Arriving to Cancún and looking for a cheap, flexible and simple sleepover? This is your solution. With the nicest host Maru you might want to spend a few more nights than expected!

Nothing to mention. One advice only - at the gate don't mention the name of the accomodation, just mention the name of the host Maru, everyone will know then.
