This was a perfect place for our weekend stay. The owners communicated the check in and check out process clearly. The house was so clean and had everything we needed.

Came here for a wedding. Great location for dining out and having some of the wedding part over for dinner. Great kitchen.

Property was conveniently located near downtown Lee’s Summit and had plenty of room. Only suggestion would be to add mirrors to the 3 bedrooms -women sharing one bathroom could use extra mirrors.

Well thought out, comfortable, cute. Quiet neighborhood, felt safe. We stayed in the bedroom closest to the bathroom, because we were the only ones there, this stay. The sheets you have selected were amazing, the bed was comfy. There was no place in the bathroom to lay your stuff while getting ready. The only real issue I had was the vent in the bathroom ceiling, was shockingly dirty!! I realize it was probably just over-looked but, Yikes! I also would have liked pleated shades n the bedroom also, besides the curtains. Felt a bit exposed, but it was a lovely place. Easy to get in & out, just really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

A clean, quiet, comfortable spot within walking distance to all the downtown Lee’s Summit offerings. Fully stocked kitchen with all items needed to enjoy eating at the large island. We look forward to returning.

Beautiful newly remodeled house in great location. Great property with many nice amenities. I would recommend a little more attention to small items that would be greatly appreciated….. coffee mugs , plastic or non breakable glasses to use outside on back porch. We didn’t happen to cook as we usually do but the counter tops were wood and we were cautioned not to set anything hot or wet on countertops. I hope there is a sealer or some protection on them as I think it would be difficult to cook and follow those parameters. Would want to rent again if only the two of us, 1 small bathroom was uncomfortable to share.

I would definitely stay here again. Interior of house is nicely done and comfortable. Front porch and backyard next provide enjoyable outdoor space. Neighborhood and proximity to historical downtown are a plus.

The location of this home is nicely placed in Lee's Summit. It's a quiet yet convenient location for shopping, restaurants, and night life. My wife and I stayed for 5 days and got ample rest and sleep. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will no doubt stay here again.

This spacious 3 bedroom 1 bath home has been delightfully updated while leaving pleasing elements of the old home it once was. The tall ceilings give a sense of expansiveness. The tree-lined street is 4 very walkable blocks to the surprisingly vibrant night time scene in old-town Lee's Summit. The hosts have created a warm, upscale, fun home away from home. We will definitely be going back to this great rental.

We had a great time visiting Lees Summit and this location for us was perfect for us! Best layout for close family or single couple! The layout of the bathroom in relationship to the bedrooms was challenging. Limited storage/closet in bedrooms made for difficult privacy use of the three bedrooms. We did have guests for gathering planned but the kitchen had ONLY glasses, plates, bowls, salad plates, silverware and very limited things to use in cooking and entertaining. The bathroom had no counter or cabinet. The outdoor space needs a LOT of work! Would recommend highly with challenges in mind!

What a beautiful perfect home this was for our stay in Lee's Summit. The owners did a fabulous job of remodeling (they did it themselves - quite impressive) - keeping the historical integrity while modernizing it at the same time. It was so comfortable, beds, great shower pressure, everything was better than expected. Walking distance to historic downtown Lee's Summit and the owner's are terrific. Loved sitting on the front porch in the evenings. It was a wonderful experience and will definitely stay here when I have to come up again next year.

Clean, comfortable, and stylish place to call your home away from home in the Kansas City area. Our family of 4 stayed here for a week and found it to be a great location, walkable distance from the restaurants, shops, and bars of downtown Lee's Summit. The surrounding historic homes make for a nice setting. The beds, bedding, and pillows were more comfortable than most any hotel I've stayed in. Everything is updated and yet there are nice touches like the stained glass window and doorways which are there to remind you of the uniquely historic home you are staying in. Only thing that could have made it even better for us was having a washer/dryer (comes in very handy when you have kids with you). Would definitely stay here again.

Rented for several days while visiting in KC. Well kept flat in a residential neighborhood of Lee's Summit. Off street parking, on a relatively major street that leads to business district. Regular traffic on this road. Three bedrooms, but only one bathroom. Worked Ok for two people, maybe Ok for small family. Kitchen is very new. Seating around the center island. No dining table. There are good blinds on the bedroom windows to block out street lights and cars. Noise is not really a problem. Master bed was fine. Bathroom is small and not much area for makeup cases and toiletries. Good water pressure and hot water. WiFi works well. Easy walk to restaurants. This worked as a good home base for visiting KC area, museums, and the like. Didn't look at the TV, so no comment. Overall, not a "magical" property, but good price, and much better than a hotel.

My husband, father, and I were visiting family in Lee's Summit and wanted a place that allowed us to entertain family. Josh and Corey's cottage was perfect. It was easy for guests to find, there was plenty of parking, and the neighborhood is quiet and lovely in the fall. The kitchen is set up well and the open concept worked great for several large family meals. Seating was never a problem--it has a spacious breakfast bar for dining. The house was well-stocked with linens and kitchenware and all of the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Most important, the house was very clean. Josh was accessible before, during, and after our stay, responding immediately to any questions we had and was always friendly and gracious. Keep in mind--there is only one bathroom; however, even with a house full of 8 guests for dinner, it wasn't a problem. I would stay at this location again and recommend it without hesitation.
