This is a great spot for exploring the beach and El Yunque. Really comfortable and close to both the pool and beach. Just a lovely spot! We loved having a little bed in the room for our youngest - and so did she! :)

We had a great baby moon/family vacation here. We split most of our days between the beach and pool which were both just steps from the rental. We also went to El Yunque two days in a row because it is so close—this allowed us to spend one day hiking and another swimming there. We have no complaints about this rental and will definitely be back with our next kid!

Just spent 8 days in Jose’s VRBO. Jose is a great host! Reached out to us before, during, and after to make sure everything was ok. During our stay, I let him know of a couple minor issues (eg. small leak kitchen faucet) but ones we could easily live with. Jose had someone there the next day to fix them. The unit is accurately depicted by the photos and description. Location is outstanding. The condo complex is beautiful, on a wonderful stretch of beach, and many great restaurants/activities close by. We would absolutely stay here again!!

This place is very well stocked with nearly everything you need for beach days. It was a huge plus to have access to the beach, although the waves will be rough for toddlers. Also very convenient to have a pool in the complex. Keep in mind that due to its location, it takes about 10minutes to get to the main road if you are driving to visit other sites. For families with little ones, the playground is clearly in disrepair and is not very suitable to play on.

The property was as described, steps away from a lovely beach that we frequented during our stay. No problems at all getting access to the condo, Jose checked in with us several times to see if we were doing well or needed anything. Condo is great, we enjoyed ourselves a lot.

We picked this spot for our family fall break vacation. We're a family of 4, and we typically like to swim, hangout and explore wherever we're at for vacation. We're pretty chill. The beach was beautiful and access was easy. We ended up staying onsite the majority of the week because it was easier to walk out an enjoy our beach with hardly any other people than it was to book ferries or find parking elsewhere. The beach was perfect. Clear water. Palm trees for shade. Lots of rip tide warnings because there are no lifeguards, but we just watched the kids closely. Introvert vacation heaven. At least while we were there. We loved it. The rental was stocked with everything we needed. Kids used the boogie boards almost every day. The chairs and coolers were super helpful. Loved having the pool option so close too. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinners and the Amigo supermarket wasn't much of a drive. Property was easy to find once we got turned the right way out of the San Juan airport. Host gave good instructions. I'm just terrible at navigating. We visited the rain forest and drove "in to town" to see Old San Juan one day. Food kiosks down the road were nice to explore. Ceviche Hut was good. There were nice neighbors who talked to us a few times, but for the most part it was kind of like we had the place to ourselves. Wifi was good. Would have been nice to have warning about rolling blackouts, but they lasted less an hour each time. No big deal.

The host send all the information we needed and more. directions to everything, good restaurants to eat and the expensive ones too. Wifi, parking, pool and beach. The place is nice and no noise. Safe place too. You have the Wyndham 2 mins away with casino. Hot water, A/C, TV. I would stay again. Only 35 Mins from airport.About 10 min from Luqillo beach. Great to eat there as well. The host gave us information on all places and kept in touch if we needed anything. Great host.

The property itself was well maintained. The apartment was beautiful and very clean. We loved how quiet the location is as well. We step outside and the ocean is to our left and the pool to our right. We couldn't have picked a better place! Jose was awesome as well. He responded quickly to any concerns or questions I had.

It was amazing just enough room for my crew and plenty of towels and bedding. Place was clean and the beach was beautiful. Easy check in....i did forget to take the keys off the rental car key chain by accident...i hope he was able to get someone to pick them up and take them back to the apartments....again i am sorry for that...we had a great time look forward to visiting again some day

This was a last minute decision and it worked out great. The property is well kept. The property manager was checking in to see if we were good or needed anything. He also shared ideas on things to do and places to visit. We felt like we had the beach all to ourself. I recommend this property 👌🏽 👍🏽

The promise of a secluded beach and proximity to El Yunque were the draws for us to this property and it delivered on both! Reservations to the rainforest were easy to come by (so long as you create an account beforehand) and so worth it. The beach was naturally beautiful, not manicured, and great for boogie boarding. Everything we needed for a perfect beach day was provided for at the property. We ate at Richie’s for lunch and the pineapple rice entree was the best meal we had the entire week, not to mention the views! Rico Pan had the best pastries and Ekelekua the best breakfast. Highly recommend!

The stay at Rio Grande was wonderful. The property was clean, and it was equipped with the necessary accessories to enjoy a relaxing and productive vacation. The property manager was accessible and responded quickly to any concern. The location of the rental was excellent. It was close to good restaurants and foot steps away from the beach. The property, and especially the host's information re property and area, was good to excellent. The value re cost is excellent. However, the beach was disappointing. Seaweed and "sea grape" was piled up all along the beach. This is probably due to a storm out to sea and not the responsibility of the host, but the total of the properties along the beach should have a clean up planned for this eventuality.

This property had everything we needed for a relaxing week on the beach. Easy access to the beach, loved the beach chairs, wagon, cooler, kids life jackets and boogie boards and AC throughout. The host's restaurant suggestions were very helpful. This was a great location for access to the rainforest, and an easy drive to Old San Juan. We would definitely recommend this property!

Was a wonderful vacation spot for our family and wonderful communication with our host. The beach was very secluded which we like and the area is very safe and secure. I highly recommend this place for you and your family for a great get away to Puerto Rico.

Above and Beyond expectations. Location is perfect We travelled with two teens and a 9 year old. The beach and pool was phenominal, location was perfect. The condo was well stocked with extra towels and the kitchen was too. Jose was great as a host to offer a lot of suggestion and we were able to make the most of our trip. Highest Recommendation.

We loved staying at Jose's place. The grounds have a resort-like feel. The beach is just steps away. The pool is a great size and also just steps away. I especially loved how quiet the complex was at night; we could fall asleep to sounds of the nearby forest and ocean. It's an easy drive from San Juan, incredibly close to El Yunque, and convenient for groceries, eating out, etc. I hope that I get to stay there again! Thank you Jose for providing so much helpful information before we arrived and for answering questions after we arrived.

The place is amazing and Jose was so helpful. I had a medical emergency and he was right there to help me 100%. This place was a great place to recover and relax. The beach and pool are close by in walking distance and perfect. A rental car is needed for restaurants and tourist attractions. This is the only place for me.

The host was excellent unfortunately hurricane Fiona decided it was going to make a visit to Puerto Rico the host checked on us constantly worried about us ask how we were doing the property is excellent I would recommend it hands down to anyone.

I am so glad we chose to stay at this rental. The location was perfect for me and my younger kids. You are feet from the pool and a very short walking distance from the beach all right outside your patio. The house was very clean and the AC worked extremely well which is something I was concerned about. You have all the amenities that you need and the rental has everything you need to cook! We went to the Rico Pan almost every morning for bread for breakfast. And the restaurant on the corner was actually one of the best places we went the entire trip! I highly suggest staying here! It was so great to know after our adventures we still had a pool and the beach when we got home! Jose was very helpful the entire stay!

We loved this property. Jose was absolutely the best host I’ve ever worked with. Immediate communication before and during the trip. Some things that we loved: -Location: gated/ safe community , close to the rainforest , numerous beautiful beaches, the ferry, and San Juan -Facilities: 1st floor with a nice patio, spacious enough for 3 kids and 2 adults (the kids bedroom was a little tight for 3 but not a problem), fully equipped kitchen and prior tenants had left basic dry supplies, spices which was nice. Excellent Wi-Fi and cell service. -Price: In looking at other places, I felt like I got a good deal! -Communication: as our first time to PR, Jose was amazing to help us with our many questions. Would definitely recommend! Few notes: It was our error that we didn’t read on using the switch to turn on the hot water heater but the Luke warm water wasn’t bad. The super Walmart was very busy, very pricey, and didn’t carry many of the items I had hoped for (we have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten feee in our family so meal planning was a bit tricky).

If you love the sea, this is definitely your place. Just a few steps from an astounding beach. Early risers can witness the most beautiful sunrises. There is also a pool and a children playground. The apartment has everything you will need for a great stay, either relaxing or enjoying some sports, in and out of the water. Plenty of room and amenities. I promise to come back soon. 😍

We had a great stay here ! The property was big enough for 3 kids and 2 adults comfortably. It was clean and convenient to shopping and restaurants and so close to the beach which was gorgeous and the pool was so clean. The amenities of the host was perfect . Toys for the kids, books etc . This apartment was exactly as advertised. It was immaculately clean, well equipped with everything we might have needed. We greatly appreciated having beach chairs, a cooler and a grill. The location was perfect as we could enjoy the beach, but also visit San Juan, El Yunque and Culebra with only moderate amounts of driving. The thing that really set this property apart was the attentiveness of the host. Jose was in touch regularly via text and answered last minute questions. We had no problems whatsoever, but felt confident that if we had, they would have been addressed. Many, many thanks for a fantastic and much needed vacation! We will return!
