Sehr schön gelegene Anlage, wir hatten das Zimmer direkt in der ersten Reihe am Fluss, was mega schön und idyllisch war. Man konnte dort so herrlich entspannen, auf der Terrasse sitzen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Der Inhaber war, wie immer in Laos, sehr nett, sehr hilfsbereit und hat alles möglich gemacht. Preis Leistungsverhältnis unausgewogen. Wir haben für 5 Nächte 233 Euro bezahlt, was für laotische Verhältnisse extrem viel ist. Frühstück war okay

Fijne kamer met uitzicht over de rivier. Het ontbijt is prima en vaak ook snel geserveerd. Ze kunnen en willen van alles voor je regelen zoals scooter verhuur en tickets voor de bus en trein.

Douche was niet constant warm. De accommodatie ligt iets buiten het centrum. Er stond dat de kamer een bad heeft maar dit is niet het geval.

Nice location, wonderful view over the Nam Ou river, comfortable and cozy bungalows, very friendly and helpful staff. You can book scooters through the hotel.

There is a bar in the direct neighbourhood, which in the evening is quite noisy due to loud music playing. Didn’t bother us too much.

Wir haben ein Zimmer unten bekommen, und das war doch veraltet. Für 40 USD die Nacht ist es doch recht hochpreisig. Dafür hätten wir etwas mehr erwartet. Das WLAN war sehr schlecht. Bei uns im Zimmer ging es nie.

Achtung nebenan befindet sich eine Baustelle die ab 8:30 loslegt und bis nachmittags lärmt, weswegen man den schönen Ausblick nicht genießen kann. 2 Häuser weiter (ca.100Meter) befindet sich eine Diskothek/ Club die selbst bei 3 Besuchern bis 0 Uhr asiatischen Hardstyle oder Karaoke mit Bass spielt. Leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Die Zimmer sind gut, jedoch ist das Bad sehr „zusammengeflickt“. Als Frau mit langen Haaren kann man sich nicht die Haare waschen, da lediglich eine Art Sprühregen aus der Brause kommt. Beim Frühstück kann man nur verschiedene Varianten aus Ei+Früchtesalat bestellen und der Kaffee ist ungenießbar. Das Brot hatte einen starken Schimmel Geschmack, sodass wir und auch andere Gäste darauf verzichtet haben. In jedem „Backpackerimbiss“ bekommt man besseres Frühstück! Normalerweise haben wir immer in weitaus günstigeren Guesthouses übernachtet und waren hierüber sehr enttäuscht.

Great little spot especially the view from our verandah, the staff were amazing, our room was super clean with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was also cooked to your liking and served with fresh fruit.

Die Klospülung hat nicht richtig funktioniert. Es war insgesamt sehr laut im Hotel, da die Zimmer sehr hellhörig waren. Wir waren schon sehr oft in Asien unterwegs aber so laut war es noch nie. Das Zimmer ist für den Standard zu teuer. Frühstück war okay aber nichts besonderes.

De hygiëne kan beter Ik had tweepersoonsbed geboekt, bij aankomst werd mij een kamer met 2 eenpersoonsbedden gegeven met als reden ‘ fully booked’ en daar moest je het mee doen.

Chambre propre et de taille suffisante. Salle de bain agréable avec un espace douche bien séparé.

Communication en anglais avec le gérant un peu difficile. Réveil assez matinal par des cris d’enfants. Prix de la chambre assez élevé au regard des prestations

Просторный номер. Красивый вид с балкона. Кондиционер и горячая вода. Чисто, ранее писали про грязное постельное белье, видимо исправились, у меня было чистое. Также убирались без напоминания. Дают 2 бутылки по 0,5 воды, обновляют. Гель, шампунь, мыло, одноразовые щетки с пастой. Хороший завтрак. Купил у них билет на автобус в Луанг Прабанг. Продают экскурсии и лодки по реке. По английски говорят.

До моста минут 10-15 пешком, кому-то далеко, мне нормально.

Schöner Blick beim Frühstück

Preis-Leistung eindeutig zu teuer, etwas weg vom Zentrum, was es bei Dunkelheit schwierig macht heimzulaufen (mich hat auf der Höhe der Schule ein Mann von hinten gepackt, es war erst 18:30, so dass auf meine Schreie gleich jemand kam) Nach der ersten Nacht wurde nicht sauber gemacht, weil ich das Schild nicht draußen hatte - ich hatte gar keins, als ich am 2. Tag zurück kam, hatte ich dann eins. Es spricht nur einer etwas Englisch. Generell sind aber anscheinend die Unterkünfte im Ort zu teuer für ihre Leistung und die Betreiber alle eher unfreundlich. Mega schlechte Betten, eine weitere Nacht hätte ich nicht geschafft

Das Zimmer (am Wasser mit Steg) was wir gebucht hatten, gab es nicht mehr, da es weg gespült wurde? Aber wir haben ein anderes schönes bekommen und Rabatt.

It is a nice place for 2-3 nights. The view on the river Nam Ou is a real plus. I could observe an elephant on the other side of the river. The place is basic, just what is needed. The bed, pillows and bedsheets are very comfortable. I slept really well. Wifi is strong. Good airco. The location is convenient: 10 minutes walking distance from the bus station and to the town center. I would book this place again!

One day there was no water, so I couldn’t shower. Electricity and wifi was out for some time. The place is not maintained with care. It could be cleaned more thoroughly and renovated a bit. They offer a bike rental service, but all of them had a flat tire. They didn’t bother to repair it. Breakfast is basic: white bread, eggs, fruits, coffee or tea. On day 3 I went out to a nearby restaurant to have a bit more variety. The owners and staff are laid back, they don’t do much effort to make you feel welcome or offer you help. 2 of them speak English.

Good comfortable beds, very nice people

A slight hiccup because it was quite difficult to get access to our booked room because we booked a few hours before we arrived (we changed accommodation in Nong Khaiw), and they just had a hand written list of names that must have been noted down before we'd booked. Once the older brother (?) arrived, all was sorted out though. The rooms could do with some vacuuming under the beds, and the power kept tripping during the day (presumably because everyone was blasting their aircons), but overall it was great

Lovely family-run guesthouse with clean rooms.

If you are walking to restaurants at night, it’s a little too far of a walk with stray/agressive dogs on the road and the access road close to the guesthouse is very dark at night. Best to have a motorbike if you stay here and I would not walk here at night alone (because of the dogs).

This was the nicest room we stayed at in the last 6 months of travelling. When we arrived, we were upgraded to one of the bungalows on the water. Even for full price, it would be a great place to stay. The place was so modern and nice. They had a bathtub, an amazing shower with a glass to keep the water from going around the toilet. The deck was right on the water so you could dive in right from your place. Amenities we're good, they provide a kettle, a mini fridge, a small table and a chair and stool, mugs, soap, toothbrushes, and clean towels. The bed was so comfortable! Everything was clean and well maintained. The bangalow rocked a bit when boats would pass, which was odd at first, but I thought it was nice. Breakfast consisted of eggs (or sausage), bread, butter, jam, and fruit. I especially liked the fruit. Bonus: they let us pay with credit card and didn't charge an extra 3%.

The wifi isn't very strong from our room, but it was okay because we have SIM cards and could use our data instead. The bridge to access the room should be repaired.

Great little hotel. Our room was directly on the water which added to the charm of the location. Staff was very nice and accommodating. We were able to move our dates without any issues.

Breakfast was not amazing, but still fair, especially considering the price.

I stayed in a room right down on the river. the view is just spectacular!!!! I felt very relaxed and comfortable here. comfy bed, good aircon. it’s about a 20 min walk from the “Main Street” but I enjoyed this.

the wifi didn’t work well at all. my shower burst - no big deal, they fixed it right away. hard to communicate with staff - 1 English speaking man, the others no English. I had to ask multiple times for toilet paper etc.

Location was great. my first room was fabulous overlooking the river with balcony. Room was comfortable and bed. The next day I was moved to the adjoins hotel which was really a few steps down. I think communication and lack of understanding had a lot to do with the mix up. But unfortunately I left something in my original room which was fab. Went over to ask if we could look and see if it was still in the room. As it turned out the room was not being used. The young tried to explain there was a cancellation but the time frame was iffy to me. And the the next morning my pick up for the bus station never showed up. Another Tuk Tuk was called and better late then never made it to the station.

Need better communication. all the staff was pleasant even at the place they moved me to but a few things got lost in translation that leads to a little misunderstanding.

Hard to tell since we were transferred to a different hotel.

We arrived at this hotel and they had overbooked the hotel so transferred us to another hotel which is much lower rated (seems to be common in Laos since it happened to us twice). The room we stayed in didn’t look like the pictures and has twin, not double beds. We had messaged them in advance whether they accept credit card which they said that they do. When we wanted to pay they said they only take cash and didn’t give us a receipt. They then indicated that we were a no-show on booking.com so we lost the stay towards our genius rewards to which I haven’t been able to dispute since they did not give a receipt!
