good location. rooms are small and the bathrooms are very average. but the beautiful staff that manage the property make it all worthwhile.

We loved our five day stay at Villa Vanh guest house. Dina and her family looked after us so well and provided excellent service with a genuine smile. She speaks very good English and helped us book taxis and change money at a great rate, plus answer all the questions we had about Luang Prabang. Location was great - ten minute walk to the night market and five to Mount Phousi. Daily cleaning of the rooms and a tasty and generous breakfast with lots of options was appreciated at this price point. We highly recommend this guest house and would definitely return in the future.

If/when we return we would ask to have a room upstairs or at the back of the guest house to be away from the communal sitting area out front - unfortunately while we stayed there was a loud group who socialised there at night and were not too respectful of other guests. This is definitely not the fault of management.

The room was really small - not enough place to open the bags. Was really loud from the outside. The bath was really bad, I'm sorry to say but I don't know if I can call it a bath 🤷

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was tasty and there was a lot of choice. Free drinking water available.

The property was in the center of town, in a small alley that was pleasant and quiet as Utopia was closed for renovations. The property owner/manager was very nice and took good care of us. She served delicious and sumptuous breakfasts as well as excellent coffee. We met other travelers who became friends and had a great time talking about our travel journals with them. She also encouraged us to learn more about Laotian culture and gave us suggestions for things to do in Luang Prabang. Overall, a fantastic staycation in Luang Prabang 😊🥰. Do try Lao Lao in La Silapa bar a few meters walk from this place. 🥃

We were actually really nerve wrecking guests, having a lot (I really mean a lot!) of questions because we made a mistake when planning our journey, which even led to us staying one of our booked nights away. But the owner always stayed calm, friendly and tried her best to help us. She even managed to rent our room for the one night we were not using it and gave us part of our money back, which we totally haven't expected and would not have been necessary. Also for breakfast they have the best banana pancakes I ever had!

Very friendly and helpful hosts - arranging everything from trips over train tickets to laundry service. Delicious breakfast with several options to chose from - each accompanied with fresh fruit. Nice room with en-suite bathroom equipped with toothbrush and everything you could need.

the location wasnt brilliant but not awful, about a 10 minute walk from the river and the main area the breakfast was really disappointing the bathroom was frankly gross, and the room wasnt very clean
