My wife’s review: My husband and I took an impromptu drive to Anna Maria Island for a week away from the cold weather at home (early December). Capt Mike was very accommodating with our last minute booking. Capt Mike thought of everything! This villa is very clean and well appointed, with updated kitchen and bathroom (including kitchen appliances), tasteful beachy decor, and a very comfortable king-sized bed! The back yard patio area is great for relaxing, with a hammock, chaise lounges, and tables/chairs. Everything is provided for time at the beach — a cart, chairs, umbrella, towels, a cooler, and beach toys. The villa is the perfect size for a couple or a couple with a small child or two. Great location; we walked to the beach and to shops and restaurants. The free trolley is handy, but we had a car and didn’t use it. We are looking forward to returning during warmer weather. I can see myself floating in the beautiful, blue-green, clear Gulf of Mexico. I spent hours collecting seashells and even waded in the water over my knees. The outdoor shower and foot washing (shell washing) stations came in handy. Thanks, Capt Mike!

My daughter and I stayed for the weekend for a lacrosse tournament. Location was perfect (across the street from the beach AND near an inlet/outlet to the island so you avoid traffic congestion). We had a problem with our parking spot Saturday evening after 9pm and the owner was immediately responsive and remedied the problem within 15 minutes. Thank you!

Nice, clean little place.

Salty living 1BR condos are perfect for a few days or an extended stay. Check in was easy and the space was comfortable and very conveniently located. We would love to come and stay again!

The location is ideal and the unit is great for a couples getaway to Anna Maria Island. We had never been to the island before but will certainly be returning. Walking distance to many great restaurants and across the street from a low key relaxing beach. Would recommend! Our only issue arose upon check in, where we couldn’t find the lock box. Captain Mike did include instructions, however for the more directionally challenged guests such as ourselves, it was a bit confusing. We still got in and had a great stay, and will hopefully be returning soon.

Our stay was great and Mike was very responsive to questions! The house is located in a busy area but that made it very easy to get to everything! We were told we probably wouldn’t need a rental car and he was right. We hopped on and off the island trolley which was free and the pickup spot was 2 short blocks from the house. (3min) This allowed access to all of Anna Maria Island. There’s also beach access across the street and the rental property included a beach cart, chairs, and beach towels, which made it very easy to take everything to the beach without stress! The house is quiet and comfortable. Everything you need is provided! It was especially nice as our flight took off later in the afternoon we were able to check out and then we were provided a code so we could keep our luggage in a locked area and come back for it later. This allowed extra time for a boat trip around the island instead of sitting in the airport! Definitely a nice, centrally located place to stay with the beach, bars and restaurants within walking distance and right on the trolley route for exploring!

Great place. Close to all I needed. Traffic was steady but easy to get to beach. Upper unit would be fun. Had everything we needed in unit.

My husband and I are so grateful we came across Salty Living. These villa’s are super cute and cozy. They’re located directly across from the beach and in walking distance to amazing restaurants on the island. Captain Mike is a great host and had everything we could possibly need inside the villa’s. We look forward to staying there again in the near future.

Great little getaway spot close to everything - beach, shops, multiple restaurants, etc. Our little bungalow had everything you could possibly need - full kitchen, bathroom amenities, beach supplies (cart, chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels), and extra blankets, towels, and sheets. Loved our trip and loved our stay here. We will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful stay at this practically-waterfront property, perfectly located near all the good stuff in Bradenton Beach. Agree with all the positive reviews. Comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, and pretty much just as depicted here on VRBO. The only misfire (and it was a minor one for us) was the noise from our upstairs neighbor. Not their fault, I just think the construction conveys the sound really efficiently between the up & downstairs neighbors. Nothing that prevented us from enjoying our stay, though, and we’d happily rent again — and plan to. Steps away from beautiful beaches and all the Bridge St. attractions. Loved our meal at one of Mike’s recommended eateries — Wicked Cantina. Outstanding. Don’t miss the Tahini Beach Cafe for a terrific breakfast, too— about 100 yards south of the property.

The units were very clean and well kept. They have a nice kitchen/living room and bedroom/bathroom. They're close to the beach. A big plus.

Great location! Steps to the beach, shops and restaurants, pier. Pretty much a hotel, but better. Check in was incredibly easy. I never had to contact anyone. They have wagon to carry your belongings, cooler, beach chairs, beach towels water floats, games etc. I honestly have no complaints. We loved our stay on the beautiful island.

My husband and I had a great time in Bradenton. The residence was just a short walk to the beach and close to all of the food spots. Mike provided all the necessities and it was so nice to have a cart to use. He provides beach chairs and an umbrella as well! We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay! We will definitely book again. Mike’s response time was fast when I had a question about a code for the key. The apartment was just as advertised. It was clean the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need, lots of extra towels and blankets. . The beach across the street was the absolutely beautiful. We were able to walk to walk to our destination.

The place is exactly as described and was perfect for my anniversary weekend celebration! Location is central to many restaurants. We enjoyed the grill area and we had everything we needed. Thank you Capt Mike for your responsiveness when we checked in. I would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful location! This is an accurate description of the property and was everything needed to enjoy the beautiful beaches!! There was also stores nearby to buy groceries and fun restaurants to enjoy! Some right on the beach! I would recommend this place! Mike was an excellent host ….. always just a text away if needed!

Easy!

This place was perfect. Cleanest vacation rental we've ever stayed in. Perfect location. Beach across the street, food and entertainment within walking distance. And EVERYTHING you need for the beach plus extra. And Mike was Great. Very nice to deal with.

Very Clean. Well managed. Very comfortable king bed and pillows. Pickleball court steps away. Short walk to bridge street. Drawback is that the unit is located on a busy beach road so there is always the sound and visual of traffic. We would probably stay a block off of the main road again on our next visit.

We had the best stay here! Mike was very easy to work with and so kind. Knew a lot about the area so was very helpful! Loved that we could just park our car and leave it there for our stay. Everything is in walking distance and is beautiful! Had a great time at local bars/restaurants and the shopping was great! The beach was amazing! Right across the street! Mike provided a wagon,chairs,cooler,umbrella…..everything you need is right at your fingertips. The evenings were very peaceful sitting out front. All the traffic quiets down by 10 so never heard anything at night! The space was so clean and the amenities were awesome! We will definitely stay there anytime we come back to Bradenton! Thanks Mike and staff for making our little get a way so wonderful!

Great experience, clean, anticipated my needs, across from beach, only recommendation I have is 2 roles of single ply tp needs to change, not sure why they went so cheap when all other amenities are name brand and even more than expected

Unit was very clean, I was glad because, it made my wife happy. If you want a great place to eat try Tide Tables across the bridge.

Adorable room that had everything needed for a relaxing trip with a perfect price and location. Was worried it would be noisy when trying to sleep but had no issues. Easy check out process.

Great condo in unbelievably convenient location.

Cute apartment "unit C" with anything you could possibly need. Super comfortable King size bed! Although it faces the street, you couldn't hear the noise inside and the bedroom is in the back of the building so super quiet! Walking distance to everything.
