This property was fantastic and worked so well for our group (2 families). The layout is great, with an amazing outdoor space, big bedrooms and a great living area. Great views, great service from the staff (nothing was too much trouble) and a wonderful vacation. Highly recommended.

It was a wonderful getaway with family and friends. The host was very responsive and the staff Rosario, Paulina and Gloria were outstanding making sure we felt welcomed and in vacation mode. My 5 year old fell in love with them while learning how to make tortillas and watching them cook. I would recommend this beautiful house to everyone who wishes to enjoy a relaxing get away.

The property is far better than the pictures of the listing. The ladies who help in the could not have a better attitude and good will. The views are breathtaking. Communication with owner could not be better

I specifically asked the owner if the heating of the pool worked correctly, she told me that is was working ok, and when we get there we realized THAT WAS NOT TRUE, no one can’t do anything and the pool never works during our stay. The owner know about it and she did not take action on this, the problem is the LIE. And also the owner claimed the insurance for a $600usd dirt on a carpet, I told the insurance that was a LIE to and offer my self to declare what ever the insurance want about this old dirty carpet.

The house is incredible. The views you get from sunrise to sunset are unreal and the house is really comfortable also. A lot of good taste was put in the design of everything and the quality of the construction/decoration elements is made to last over time. Picture represent well the house but once you’re there, it feels even better.

The house is exactly as pictured, breathtaking! The views, pool, accommodations - everything was a dream. We enjoyed a week of peace and quiet here with my family, doing nothing but swimming, reading, and eating delicious meals. The staff was kind and accomodating. I would highly recommend a stay at Casa Jaguar.

My group truly enjoyed everything about Casa Jaguar. The view and accommodations are everything that you need for a relaxing vacation with friends. The staff was very helpful, quick to please and very pleasant. Will definitely be back when in Ixtapa!

The Good: Casa Jaguar is a gorgeous home in a spectacular, safe location with stunning views from every room. The house is beautifully designed with great attention to detail. The staff of three is wonderful. If you love home-made tortillas, ceviche, fresh fish, rice and beans. mole or other traditional Mexican fare, you are in for a treat. The food served at the home is fantastic. The main floor consists of 4 large, air-conditioned bedrooms, kitchen, living room, outdoor dining room, lawn and pool area. Each bedroom has its own full bath, a large closet and more than one bed. Internet is available throughout the house. The Bad: Unfortunately, the upstairs (actually, up-ladder) bedroom - despite amazing views - is not worthy of this lovely home. There's no place to hang a towel or clothes (despite the listing stating that all bedrooms have closets). There's not even a mirror in the bathroom - to shave, you have to descend 2 flights to the well-lit bathroom in the basement. The "king-sized" bed is really two twin mattresses, so if you cuddle with your sweetie, someone will sleep uncomfortably on the crack. And the water in the shower sometimes slows to a literal trickle with no warning. There's also a room-wide step between the bathroom and bed. Because the step is at an angle to the bathroom, we each tripped several times, especially at night. We chose this rental in large part because this home boasts a shaded, heated pool with a large shallow area for our youngsters and a swim-up bar for adults. We wrote the host in advance to ensure the pool was heated to our desired temperature, and the host graciously confirmed those arrangements a few days before our arrival. However, in the 10 days we were there, the heater never worked, and the pool was usually too cold for us to use it. {The adjacent narrow lap pool was unheated but 5 degrees warner because it is in the sun. It was fine for adults. However, the kids couldn't play there on the fun pool toys we brought because they would have hit their heads on the side of the pool when falling off. Also, that pool has no shallow area.) The TV in the media room had no reception (confirmed by the owner after our arrival).

Everything is excellent! The view is amazing and the service are great! We hope to come back soon!

Beautiful property and lovely location and staff although very little English spoken. Would do well to have a part time concierge to assist. Also tried to communicate with Owner multiple times via email but for some reason did not receive a response which is strange and certainly do not appreciate receiving a negative rating from her on our own traveler profile when we certainly tried to reach out multiple times! Luckily the very kind staff helped us.

Everything was perfect--the staff, the home, the owners, the views, and of course the margaritas. We will definitely be back! Could not have dreamed of a better vacation.

The perfect stay for several couples or families. Georgina is a meticulous and caring owner whose team of Adrianna, Iselda, and Antonia couldn't have been more accommodating to each and every need. The living areas were spotless and constantly cleaned and food prep was magnificent. Loved every minute up until departure.

Thanks Georgina and Husband, your property is just great, confortable, clean, unique. It has everything you need at your hand touch. Nice view, all gym facilities, swimming pool, and like a spa to enjoy the view, the bedrooms, all of them are great, you can find everything you need. But the most excellent point is the personal that takes care of you once you are there. They are just great and make feel you like in a great place to be for rest, and have peace.They just take care of everything. This is third time we are there and feel like home. Thanks owners and please preserve the property as nice as it is.

We have been to Zihautanejo many times, so we suggested the area to our friends. Both couples celebrating their 20th anniversaries!!! They had never been to Mexico. As we walked through the iron coconut tree doors, all 4 of us we amazed at the beauty of the outdoor living areas and pools that this home offered. We were pinching ourselves, it was like we were in a dream vacation!!! The master suites were great and the outdoor shower with seashell flooring was amazing! The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious! By the end of our vacation we all declared THIS WAS THE BEST VACATION EVER!!!! We will be back next year...

Casa Jaguar more than exceeded our expectations. Our family of four traveled to Casa Jaguar with another family of 4 (4 adults and 4 kids under the age of 10 in total) and we could not have had a better vacation even if we wanted to. The property has jaw-dropping views of the Pacific Ocean and Ixtapa. The indoor - outdoor flow of the kitchen and living room to the outdoor dining area and pools and bar allows for anyone to feel right at home and immediately enter into vacation mode. The bedroom layout made it easy for both families to have their own space at night, while providing ample privacy. The bedrooms are fitted with blackout shutters and great air conditioners so that you can escape the heat while resting at night (the private, outdoor showers are pretty cool too). Our children spent many days swimming and playing in the pools until we had to drag them out to serve them meals and ensure they were getting at least a little bet of rest. The staff at Casa Jaguar catered to our every need without hesitation and made sure every meal was a memorable one (you can ask the staff to pick up groceries based on what you would like to eat). The bedrooms were cleaned and straightened daily along with the rest of the house and property. Essentially, we felt like we had our own private resort that fulfilled each and every one of our requests and needs. It was a vacation we will always remember and I highly recommend anyone who enjoys the culture of Mexico, to consider a stay at Casa Jaguar. We definitely will be back again soon.

Our vacation at Casa Jaguar was one of the best we have ever had; and we travel a good amount and have very high standards! The house and the grounds are breathtaking, and the amenities 5-star. We barely wanted to leave the house, with its double lap swimming pool, breathtaking view, and wonderful staff of two who attended to our every need. Tonia & Esela were absolutely lovely, and cooked fantastic meals; I'd highly recommend Tonia's Camerones al mojo de ajo, which, 3 week later, we still talk about. The house is flawlessly beautiful, and, as an Interior Designer based in Los Angeles, I greatly appreciated being surrounded by such deep beauty. And, the owner, Georgina, could not have been more friendly and responsive and lovely via email. Only 2 things that I would recommend they improve: directions to the house from the airport are really confusing, and we had a lot of trouble with the internet connect. But, otherwise, we have told everyone we know about what an incredible find this place is -and for an astoundingly reasonable price. We cannot wait to return. This time it was just the 2 of us, and we look forward to returning again both solo and with friends. It pretty much perfection.

We enjoyed this wondefull place, that definetively was built with love and equipped with a lot of taste, everything has a nice detail, everything wirked fine. People, that received us was so warm and efficient as well as charm. We didnt relaize that we havent left the house to go the beach because we were so goodand enjoyed the house, the pool and every space witnin the house. We have being traveling to this house, and feel like ours, pleanty of details, everything we needed was there for us, all was extremely clean, people that helped us at the house was wonderfull, always wanted to be helpfull. We really enjoyed the place, no needed to go to the beach, house was so wonderfull that we didnt have the need to go out of it. WE DEFINETIVELY WILL COME BACK SOON TO ENJOY AGAIN. it was a very nice experience for my family and me, we were traveling two families and fit very well with all the comodities and facilities, the residence is impeccable, everything is working there and the personal service is excellent and warm, have unbeatable views from the the swiming pool and accomodations, public beach is real near, probably 5 to 10 minutes driving¡¡¡¡ Definitely I'll come back soon......
